No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

Bfn again this morning still mild cramps and no sign of af! So annoying just feel like can't possibly be preg now

No sign of AF for me either and I have absolutely no symptoms at all! 4 days late, longest cycle I've had prior to this was 29 days and that was right at the very beginning of coming off the pill and this is now day 29. I'm holding out to test until a full week has passed, either Saturday or Monday! My BF has been speaking about a gut feeling but I'm just not sure. I think I'm now just worried I've not ovulated at all!

@HJen22 that's what I'm worried about! But I believe you still have periods when don't ovulate?! I have seen so much saying try week after but a just think no I would see by now!! I feel so so bloated today like my belly's huge still got cramps but mild!

@lastbany I know, that threw me when I first came off the pill. I was all like oh fab I must be ovulating cos I've got a period then I read you can still have one! Why is the body so complicated! Now I'm thinking damn I should have done the OPKs!

I have read stories online about people taking longer to get their BFP. As if the wait isn't hard enough 🙄 TWW is getting longer and longer!

@HJen22 haha I know I feel like today af has to come if not I've never had a cycle like this? Day 32 today only ever had a 31 day cycle before came on day32 and was when came off mini pill so am like what's happening!!

@lastbany it's so frustrating isn't it! Same, I have no clue what's happening! I've had no spotting, nothing, and not had cramps since last week! I feel totally fine this week!

I know, I don't want to see another BFN so I'm going to hold off. Last time I did an early hcg stick I told myself I'd not do that again, next test I did I wanted to see a positive after a late period. Typical I waited for the late period and still BFN.

Cycle day 34 for me. So AF is 4 days late. I have cramping, but that could be either AF or pregnancy. I did not test this morning. I am going to wait until it has been a full week of no AF, which would be Sunday. Well try to wait it out, not sure if I can make it til then especially if there is a chance still that I could be pregnant. 🤞🤞

@ImpatientMama I am going to wait it out as well, and if AF doesn't come, get a clear blue test and do it on Sunday, that would be a week and a day. I am surprisingly feeling calm about it, I don't know if cos in my head I just don't think I am pregnant, i would be delighted if I am though! How are you feeling?

@HJen22 other then annoyed, i'm doing fine as well. Taking a break from testing I think is helping me out. I am tired of seeing negatives. So I am hoping for no AF and a BFP after all this waiting. Trying to decide if i should go to the doctor or not is AF doesnt show and I get another negative. I just dont want to waste my time at the doctors if I don't need too.

@ImpatientMama I'm annoyed at the waiting too! Just want to know one way or the other! But hopefully us being patient will pay off and we'll get our BFPs 🤞🏻 Do your doctors do an online e-consult? Mine do and then a doctor calls back. I added onto my note yesterday about wanting to discuss test results that I was still concerned about my cycle and was late, and I've got a telephone appointment next week, so def worth a try!

@HJen22 I am sure they do, especially with COVID. I will have to look into that as my next step. Ugh. Haha. Luckily my husband works from home and can watch our son if need be. It is a holiday next week so that could complicate things in terms of getting an appointment and delay any results of tests. 🙄

@ImpatientMama I'd try that, and they might just say come get bloods. My last appointment the doctor called me back after the e-consult and booked the nurse app for me. Thinking there will be a delay too for me though, as Tuesday is just a phone appointment with the doctor and then if she says to get tests will probably be another week, who knows I just need to wait and see I guess 🙄 more waiting!

@HJen22 I am tempted to call and get it set up already. But I have a feeling they would want me to wait anyways. So I guess just waiting is all I can do right now. Enjoy my cramps and (maybe tmi) watery discharge and pray they are an early pregnancy sign, not a very delayed AF. 😅

@ImpatientMama I know, especially when you know it's likely to be a few days until you get an app! I'd assumed I'd just have had a call back from the doctor the next day like the last time; rather than an actual telephone appointment scheduled for the following week! Why does all of this involve so much waiting! It's hard to think about anything else! Nothing is tmi when TTC, don't worry! I've learned so much the last few months that I had no clue about, I had no idea about CM and position and all of that!

Good luck! I have some experience of ttc with an irregular cycle. For most people with an irregular cycle, your luteal phase (ovulation through to af) is regular, the bit that varies is which day ovulation occurs. So when your cycle length is above average, it usually means you ovulated later - meaning you might not yet be getting a positive because it's still to early to tests to detect...do you know your ovulation date or track it atall? good luck!!

@emeraldcity2000 I have kind of been tracking. I did have egg white cm which I believe is around the time I ovulated. I did have it for 2 days, then a break and then 2 more days. I am guessing I ovulated between those days or around those days. I did look to when I concieved my first child and had similar experiences. Which is why I have been hopeful. But I got my bfp with him on day 2 of no af. This time I am at 4 days no af and 3 tests read negative. So I am just confused.

Same thing here I have never experienced symptoms like this before and period although not clockwork regular is the latest it's ever been. But I'm berating negative... I did do an out of date test first on Monday but just did a clear blue weeks test this evening and it says not pregnant and I think I'd be 3 weeks at least so surely that would come up :(

Last cheapo used today bfn total blank! So pissed off now not gonna lie! Past three days been so bloated and now it's 12 days of cramps! Fed up is an understatement

@lastbany I think I am at least 3/4 days late but I always come on early with my irregular cycles so it being even a day late as thrown me.

I haven't been tracking and this is all new to me but it's driving me crazy. I started getting symptoms about 3 weeks ago which have progressed since then. Tender breasts was the start then spotting which I have never had before so that completely threw me then came nausea and I've had cramps and twinges in abdomen on and off for so long now.

I cannot believe with all these symptoms I am producing no HCG so that worries me and after yesterday's failed clear blue digital I feel I'm out but still no AF!!

I ordered some FRER's (which I'm terrified of doing btw) they are arriving today... I have done my morning wee into a cup and have read it should still give an accurate result after hours? I'm not sure feel like I'm gonna be disappointed again and then blame it on the fact the sample was aging 🙈 the two previous tests I did I just held under the stream and last nights one sort of went in all directions so do you think it's better to collect the sample instead of peeing on the stick? (Sorry!)

I feel you on this. I am so uncomfortable and then just so upset by the BFN's.

@sociallydistained when I got my positive on frer with last baby I weed on stick was very very faint but a afternoon wee as I didn't think I was preg! When I look back I was 12 dpo so this gives me hopes ! B it I've literally had cramps was weeing all time not now so much keep getting like pin feelings in nipples then it disappears cramps are on and off! My wee was held all night till 8 am this morning so was strong af lol still neg! Sat will be a week late! But ye proper fed up!

Oh and I am gonna buy some test today for morning! Either frer or I heard Sainsbury's are good?
