No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@mrssunshinexxx he stopped needing a night feeding around 8 months, so no, I was not feeding at night when my period returned.

I'm trying to wean mine off the night feeds now then I hope they will come back desperate for no 2 @ImpatientMama

I'm little confused had covid last month which I was really poorly with! I was actually on af a week into me suffering 🤮 currently on day 19 and only just starting to get ewcm so I think I'm ovulating very late for me possibly due to been so poorly? Plus had oral steroids and antibiotics during that time ? So fingers crossed as at this rate if I conceive next mo th my baby would be due round my baby's 2nd bday and with me needing c section I don't want that lol

So 2 days ago sorry if TMI I thought my period was starting as had slight blood and allt of cervical mucus on my first wee of the day but nothing since now I've got it in my head it's implantation bleed ( I know it probably won't be ) but it says that happens 10-14 days after conception and I looked on my flow app and we had sex 2 days in a row bang in that time line I can only hope !

Hi guys could I join last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th Jan. Obviously that comes and goes negative tests. So now I'm roughly cd 49 opks still negative. What do people do should I keep testing daily? Keep DTD? So confused and frustrated just want something to happen or af to arrive!! Have missed the odd period before but would happen when ttc?! Feel like I'm going insane x

@lastbany i suppose being poorly could have delayed ovulation or AF, hopefully the timing is all ok for you!!

@Skl2021 welcome! We’ve all been in this confusing boat I would keep testing and dtd yeah and keep logging things on your app daily if your using one.. good luck

@lastbany it does sound like maybe you did ovulate late. So will you take a break next month so you don't have your second baby around your first baby's birthday?

Of course you can join @Skl2021! Not sure about testing daily, maybe every other day. Hcg doubles every 48 hours so you wouldn't see much if any difference in tests taken 2 days in a row. I would keep dtd just to be safe. Do you know when you ovulated? You could have ovulated late which would alter when your period is supposed to stop. I understand your frustration, I was 6 days late before I got my answer of a chemical pregnancy. Is this your first time ttc?

@ImpatientMama well this has been in my mind! Tbh past few months we haven't been properly trying haven't monitored ovulation etc just had sex now and again but not much of it die to one thing or another lol due to such small chance of falling preg each month we deceived balls to it! Keep trying if it happened then then it's ment to be lol

@HT1335 not been using an app just doing opks everyday since last due period. But there all negative up to now
@ImpatientMama not sure when or iff I ovulated. Only started opks again after my missed period but up to now there all negative still and it's been roughly 18 days since missed period. Never wanted af to come so bad this is 3rd baby. 1st took around 9 month ttc. 2nd took straight away so silly old me thought it would be easy. Then my body throws a curve ball

@lastbany that is a good idea. Just enjoy the process and it will happen when it is meant to!

@Skl2021 I definitely felt like our first happened easier, around 3 months. I was working at the time so I was more distracted. Being a stay at home mom is a blessing but also allowed more time for me to overthink things during this process. This one took 5 months, with a chemical in the 3rd month. Hoping this pregnancy is successful! 🤞

@Skl2021 thanks! According to the app(s) I am using to track, I am around 6 weeks 4 days. Have my first doctor's visit Thursday, probably an ultrasound next week, then I will know exactly how far along I am.

@ImpatientMama how exciting! Bet you can't wait. Did u have any symptoms or a feeling? X

@Skl2021with my first I had like no symptoms. So far it's the same with this one. There was one day before I tested positive when I had a major mood swing. I am usually a chill person, but I lost my patience with my husband. It happens occasionally, because men. But, it felt different, so I kind of had a feeling I was pregnant. Haha. I have been peeing a lot more, but I have also been trying to be better about my water intake, so that is definitely a factor. How were you symptom-wise with your pregnancies?

@ImpatientMama my youngest is 5 now feels like a lifetime ago 🤣 I don't think I felt any different at time of testing. I then got morning sickness a few weeks later but can't remember anything particular that made me take one I was just impatient and testing everyday 🤣 I have every symptom going now but I'm not pregnant sure my body is trying to trick me

I spoke to the doc and she's going to book me in for my day 21 test which I believe from other posts on here will me the progesterone one. She did just say don't worry and try to dtd 3/4 times a week even when you're not in the fw. The fact that we've had 2mc means we are fertile but possibly due to age as to why we had the mc (I'm presuming the egg quality test will be a good one to take for that?) she didn't seem too worried about getting my partners sa at the moment either but I think I'll just do this one then start bugging for others lol

@Marvellouslymadmum good luck with the tests this is what I’ve recently had, j like when the doctor is proactive and sends for further tests etc hope all goes ok!
I have my appt at fertility clinic next week but my partner hasn’t had his sa appt yet and it would have been helpful for these results to be back in time for my appt but never mind

@HT1335 thank you, I'm just hoping she carries on with others after this first one! I know you can pay for separate tests if not but 🤞🏻 good luck at your appointment, I imagine one of the first things they'll do there is an sa if it hasn't already been done.

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah they’ve arranged a sa in advance of my appt he’s taking it to the hospital today so the results be back when I go my first appt, so we should get a good indication of what’s going on very soon!
