Anyone just had their BFP?

And not quite ready to move to the pregnancy boards yet?
I've just had mine yesterday, and another today, so excited! But because of previous losses and just the general earliness (i'll only be 4 weeks tomorrow!)
Anyone got any symptoms yet? I've only got a tiny bit of soreness in my boobs, less than i get even at ovulation time. and i'm tired - i accidentally fell asleep putting DS to bed at 7pm last night, but again thats not all that unusual! So i very much don't feel pregnant at this early stage, but i so hope I get another baby this time!

@Mommabear20 I was seen by 8 weeks with ds. I don’t mind if I’m not seen until 8 weeks but they apparently don’t plan on even making contact until then. If they contacted me now and said your appointment is in 3/4 weeks time or something that’s fine, just makes me a little nervous they aren’t putting anything in the diary.. makes me worry I’ll get forgotten about, and with it being so close to Xmas etc. No biggie, would have just been nice to have something in the diary

My booking appointment is exactly at 8 weeks they did offer 9 weeks but that was Christmas Eve so asked if I could be squeezed in earlier. I thought it being DC2 it might be quicker but now realise will probably have to go over previous birth complications as well so will probably be just as long

@popcorndiva gosh they offered an Xmas eve appointment! I didn’t even think they’d be seeing people then unless it was an emergency. That’s impressive. Hopefully I get contacted at some point to get something booked in this side of Xmas!

Ugh, 2-3 weeks. At least it's gone up... Although I think i remember getting 2-3 when six weeks plus with Ds.

@Char899 Ah that makes sense. I actually miscounted and I’m 5 weeks today too! I just done a CBD and got the 3+ I was hoping for. Although I’m still slightly concerned that I have zero symptoms.

I know lack of symptoms can be normal but it just reminds me of my MMC when my symptoms disappeared (I’d had symptoms from about 9dpo). This time I haven’t had any to begin with. I’m normally a very rational person but head is telling me that this can’t be right.

@Bellaphant I’ve not done mine yet I was dying for the loo this morning and didn’t even have time to unwrap the test 😂 I stayed on 2-3 for ages last time too so I’m not necessarily expecting it to change bang on time!

@Boredinthehouse12 I literally had no early symptoms with ds. I think not only is everyone different but every pregnancy is different too so try not to worry :) my symptoms this pregnancy have been on and off as well but I’m trying to remind myself that’s normal

Well I woke up to nausea this morning and now stressing about work. We are going to be a vaccine centre and I think offered the vaccine so will have to tell work sooner than I hoped as I don't think its been tested on pregnant people yet.

Booked in for a scan on Xmas Eve!

@popcorndiva that’s an annoying situation to be in but you’re right definitely best to let them know! I’m a little nauseous today too the only thing that seems to help me is eating!

Just did my CB digital with a 5 hour hold and got my 3+ The test took a really long time to decide though lol so I must have just scraped over!

Mine took ages too char!

Been sick three times in the last 90 minutes. Had to tell a work colleague (my closest one) because I kept leaving a meeting!

@Bellaphant eeek that’s not good. Have you got any anti sickness medication? Maybe see if you can get some from the dr if it’s bad!

Proper nausea hit this morning. Had to crack open the ginger nuts

Nausea again when I woke up and baby brain already, forgot DS's nursery bag so had to apologise and use the spare nappies

Just spent all day munching on crackers. My DH said the infamous 'well you wanted to be pregnant' oooh I could have punched him

I managed some toast and some hula hoops? Jacket potato coming up for dinner but I’m not feeling very optimistic given all I can smell and taste is soil... hmmm yummy!

We just had jackets too! I am living on toast and pringles and wine gums but I'm finding it an effort to eat and keep stuff down.

The cramps are real :s.

@Bellaphant how funny! I’m going for beans and cheese! Thought a potato might be something I could have that wouldn’t make me feel dodgy. The cramps I’m having are like a really dull ache. Is that the same as you?
I wonder if the midwife will call tomorrow... probably not

Oh and I’m all over wine gums too!

Dull ache on my back and then occasionally sharper pains on each side. The backache bothers me most, I think because it subconsciously reminds me of contractions?
