And not quite ready to move to the pregnancy boards yet?
I've just had mine yesterday, and another today, so excited! But because of previous losses and just the general earliness (i'll only be 4 weeks tomorrow!)
Anyone got any symptoms yet? I've only got a tiny bit of soreness in my boobs, less than i get even at ovulation time. and i'm tired - i accidentally fell asleep putting DS to bed at 7pm last night, but again thats not all that unusual! So i very much don't feel pregnant at this early stage, but i so hope I get another baby this time!

Yeah I'm 18dpo today. I ovulated late too but they're counting me as 5+4 from LMP.

Char899 · 23/11/2020 20:31

@NamechangeTTC that’s stupid! Sorry but thats so stupid! Putting the fear of god into you and your not even 5 weeks based on ovulation! Based on my LMP I should be 5+3 but I know I ovulated 7 days later than I should have so I wouldn’t have had a 28 day cycle therefore I’m not 5 weeks pregnant. Try and stay calm, you know what dpo you are. It’s still so early and you wouldn’t be particularly likely to see the sac yet! They should be dating you accurately. You should bring that up with them tomorrow in my opinion. 1 week makes a huge difference!

NamechangeTTC · 23/11/2020 20:34

Someone on fb today said theirs was clear at 4+4 with heartbeat at 5+4

Char899 · 23/11/2020 20:34

@NamechangeTTC I dated my last pregnancy from my LMP too. Went to a private scan expecting to be 10 weeks to the day only to find out I was 8+5. I thought something was terribly wrong but it was just that I ovulated late so I wasn’t as far a long as I thought. We never caught up on that time and the pregnancy just progressed fine a week behind what is thought!

Bellaphant · 23/11/2020 20:34

That's super early, they won't do a private scan til 6 weeks BC there's no point.

Char899 · 23/11/2020 20:35

@NamechangeTTC everybody’s different, maybe they were further along. It can vary by a few days. Just don’t panic yet. Most reputable sites say you are unlikely to see the sac before 5 weeks and even then it can be later

Char899 · 25/11/2020 08:55

@NamechangeTTC how did your bloods go last night? Hope you’re ok!

How’s everyone else doing? My symptoms seem to have disappeared apart from being tired!

NamechangeTTC · 25/11/2020 08:58

@Char899 risen but not enough. 44%.

Last rise was almost treble.

Char899 · 25/11/2020 09:00

@NamechangeTTC fingers firmly crossed for you lovely, positive to see it’s still rising! Are you going back in again for more tests?

Bellaphant · 25/11/2020 09:45

@NamechangeTTC, fingers crossed, we are all here for you
@Char899, I learnt what you meant by a dye stealer yesterday! Just a cheapie, holding out til Friday now!

popcorndiva · 25/11/2020 10:07

5 weeks today. Just felt some pulling and stretching yesterday. Taking each day as it comes

Char899 · 25/11/2020 15:37

@Bellaphant me too. I’m so so tempted to do my CB to see if it’s gone up to 3+ but I know I’ll be disappointed if it hasn’t so I’m going to stay strong and wait until Friday lol @popcorndiva you got your 3+ really early didn’t you? Have you got a midwife appointment booked yet?
Anyone else booked private scans?

Bellaphant · 25/11/2020 15:45

@Char899, I filled in my form with the Dr and hoping the midwife calls tomorrow - she only does Thursdays!

I'm trying to work out the best way to do a private scan with no car and a 16 month old. Might try and do it when he's in nursery. Looked for then near my mum's and they are £20 more expensive than here, at least!

Mommabear20 · 25/11/2020 15:56

We're hoping to do a private scan but trying to fit in in and get childcare (discreetly) is proving tricky!

popcorndiva · 25/11/2020 16:11

Yes I got my 3+ at 4 weeks..checked it hadn't dropped today and still 3+

My booking appointment is 16th December and have a private scan on 23rd December. Hopefully after that if all OK we can tell parents as hate lying to my mum

Char899 · 25/11/2020 16:37

@Bellaphant midwife here is also only in on Thursdays so I was told by the receptionist she would get her to call me tomorrow so fingers crossed she does! The private scans here are so much ££ we have booked one for 19th and it’s like £90-100 😱
@Mommabear20 same problem here, I think we have accepted that ds might just have to come along!
@popcorndiva I hate lying to my mum too, I’m thinking about just telling her maybe next week or week after, I figure if something was to go wrong I’d quite like her support, nervous to tell her though! No idea why I’m sure she will be really happy she absolutely adores my little boy

Mommabear20 · 25/11/2020 16:42

@Char899 I'm trying to convince DH to tell people already, I know it's super early but I'm also thinking along the lines that if something went wrong I'd want the support. He's not convinced it's a good idea :/

Char899 · 25/11/2020 16:48

@Mommabear20 I think dh is fairly on board with the idea. Only our parents though. I reckon within the next couple of weeks I’ll have told my mum. I kind of feel like it would be nice to have her to talk to about my anxiety and nerves. I know she will make me feel better no matter what!

asSASSin8 · 25/11/2020 16:52

Congratulations to all! I did last week and am currently 5+5. Would it be possible to join the FB group please?

Char899 · 25/11/2020 17:03

@asSASSin8 Hey there’s a July 2021 group under pregnancy that has the link to the feb group if you request to join on there :)
Congrats 🎉

Char899 · 25/11/2020 17:04

*FB

Bellaphant · 25/11/2020 17:08

That's even more expensive than near my mum's, are you going for something like...4d? You must live somewhere nicer than me @Char899 ;)

We told my parents BC my work sitch got weird last week, and my bff coz she's about to do IVF so we are sharing our journeys.

Char899 · 25/11/2020 17:14

@Bellaphant nope just a regular early scan! Lol I’m in the south east so can be fairly pricey. were your parents really happy for you? We have a similar age gap ds is 20 months.

popcorndiva · 25/11/2020 17:30

My early scan is only £59 not sure DH would let me book one for £100.

Bellaphant · 25/11/2020 17:57

Same!! @popcorndiva mine should be £55. Just trying to work it out with work and childcare!

@Char899 yeah, they knew we were 'trying', my mum is super excited. She went to ds' early scan with us last time, which isn't allowed BC covid.
