Anyone just had their BFP?

And not quite ready to move to the pregnancy boards yet?
I've just had mine yesterday, and another today, so excited! But because of previous losses and just the general earliness (i'll only be 4 weeks tomorrow!)
Anyone got any symptoms yet? I've only got a tiny bit of soreness in my boobs, less than i get even at ovulation time. and i'm tired - i accidentally fell asleep putting DS to bed at 7pm last night, but again thats not all that unusual! So i very much don't feel pregnant at this early stage, but i so hope I get another baby this time!

As ours is just before Xmas, we are going to lie to my inlaws and say we need to get something last minute from town and don't want to take DS when it will be busy. For my booking in appointment as its at the hospital I have said I have extra training at work for a few hours. Hopefully they don't twig

@popcorndiva I just checked and it can also be in 4d and includes a dvd with live images and some glossy photos so looks like dh booked a fancy one. We went to the place when I was pregnant with ds and it was really nice I felt super comfortable there so hopefully it’ll be worth the money

Have convinced DH to let us tell parents at the weekend! 😁 so excited!

If it wasn't Christmas in 4 weeks we would probably have told them already. I have it in my head as this will be our last I want to make it special. Thats what is keeping me going. Thinking of mums happy face when she knows

Can I join too? Almost 5 weeks (I think) with DC2. Getting super excited but also very nervous as with DS1 the HG started at 6 weeks and lasted for most of the pregnancy and I have to be in work.

Have you tried to get some anti sickness tablets from your GP? I had them with my first pregnancy (after 16 weeks) as my morning sickness didn't go away and have just got some for this pregnancy (currently 4+3) as it's hit hard and early again 🤦‍♀️

@Mommabear20 what did the GP prescribe for you? Nothing worked last time! The IV drip did a bit but I don't want to resort to the hospital again.

@Rtmhwales they prescribed me, cyclizine hydrochloride, 50mg tablets, 1 tablet 3 times a day. It doesn't completely get rid of it (mainly at the beginning) but it's sooo much better.

@Bellaphant did you get to speak to the midwife today? If I haven't had a call by about 3 I think I might give the drs a ring and just check in! Is that a bit needy? Lol

Hello! Can I join? Had my BFP 2 days ago, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. I've attached today's line progression ☺️ trying to stop myself being too anxious, there was a good chance I couldn't get pregnant naturally so I'm still convinced the tests are lying.

When did you all refer yourselves to the midwife clinic? I don't think there's any rush but I'm definitely not ready to make that phone call yet.

@Char899, I was just thinking the same thing, because they haven't! I just don't want to leave it and then not get seen before Christmas and not get my scan til really late - last time I was a few more weeks pregnant by now and my scan got delayed BC of Xmas and we had it on the last day they are legally allowed to do all the nuchal testing and stuff!

@NestinginNL, I'd do it soon as! I did mine at 4+2 and haven't heard nearly a week later.

@Bellaphant yeah you definitely don’t want a repeat of that that sounds stressful! Lets def give them a chase this afternoon then, like you I want to make sure I’m seen before Xmas and have a scan booked and confirmed for jan. I remember them being particularly slow with ds!

@Bellaphant just rang and have been told the midwife has left for the day and I’m unlikely to hear from her until about 8 weeks! Ermmmm what?!?

@Char899 I’m 4+6 and waiting too see a 3+ on a digital too. How far will you be tomorrow? I want to do one too but not sure if it’s too soon

@Boredinthehouse12 I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow. Got my 1-2 at 11dpo and 2-3 at 14dpo so I figured a week later at 21dpo I should hopefully see 3+

@Char899 ??!? I'm going to call them then! The NHS says it's important to see them asap....

I did the first digital at 12ish days po, and got 1-2.

@Bellaphant I know I’m really confused, I’d already had my bloods taken, had my booking appointment and my 12 week scan booked in by 8 weeks with ds! And they’re saying she won’t even make contact until then?!!

I’m going to call again next Thursday morning and ask to speak with her!

...I just got a text from the Dr telling me I have an appt on new year's Eve? No time specified and it looks like a phone call?

@Bellaphant An appointment 5 weeks away? Literally 5 weeks today isn’t it. Well let’s hope they see you in person to give you your notes etc and book you in for your 12 week scan at that appointment! Crazy

With DD and now this one, I didn't/won't see the midwife till 8weeks (this time it's just a phone call appointment) and then I get a letter with a scan date on. I've never heard of people been seen before 8 weeks. 😳

I saw her 8 weeks Ish last time, but this is 10ish weeks! Just feels like I won't get a scan til February at this point .... Deffo booking that private scan
