@susiebluebell hi nice to have someone in similar circumstances to talk to! I use opks to track my cycle and I had twinges when I ovulated and it was in line with opk and my Ovia app so I'm pretty sure I'm four days late but just have to wait and see I guess, congratulations on your bfp really hope I get a bfp soon but like I said earlier trying not to get my hopes up 🥺🌈👶 🙏

Katy34 · 19/10/2020 19:22

@Jazper thank you yeah I'm sure I'm 4 days late I use opks and Ovia to track my cycle congratulations on you bfp

Katy34 · 19/10/2020 19:23

@susiebluebell sorry I meant that post for @Jazper

Jazper · 19/10/2020 19:37

@Katy34
I know the feeling of not wanting to get your hopes up all too well. I stupidly got my hopes every single month for 7 months and was always devastated when af arrived. It's unusual that a test wouldn't show a positive at this point but not unheard of.
You've obviously had your bloods checked and it's great that they are going to work on those once af arrives (fingers crossed it doesn't!) but at least that offers some hope. Have you had any other checks done? We saw a fertility specialist and had a semen analysis done just as I fell pregnant but having the checks put my mind at rest and enabled me to feel like we were being proactive xx

Katy34 · 19/10/2020 19:54

@Jazper this is where our situation gets more complicated, you see my OH had had a vasectomy about 20 years ago, we paid £3000 to have it reversed and then we had the two mc, since the two miscarriages last year my OH has developed a double hernia ( on either side of his groin) and he went into hospital about three weeks ago for the surgery, however in pre-op exam the surgeon explained to my OH that if he went ahead with the surgery that there was a 1 in 20 chance that he could be left infertile, so the surgeon offered to postpone the surgery until andee ( my oh) could speak with me about it, obviously we were both upset by this so andee is looking into freezing his sperm so we have a back plan( so to speak) incase either I'm not pregnant or incase we have another MC it's all so frustrating, gp took bloods so she could do an initial assessment on me and will repeat bloods if I'm not pregnant then she said depending on second bloods ( and if I a get a bfp or not) she will refer me to our local fertility clinic

Thanks @Pugprincess and @susiebluebell!

I think I may be off the October train! I had spotting starting again and some light cramping but it’s stopped again now. It’s so confusing 🙈

This week hasn’t got off to a great start. I haven’t been able to concentrate on anything for the last week as I’ve been analysing every small symptom. It’s so hard to think about anything else at the moment, but I have a busy week at work so hopefully that will take my mind off things!

Hope everything is good with you Susie!

Hello again ladies, no worries on the cervix checking, think I have got the hang but I am still not sure whether I'm pregnant 😂
This morning I had a massive bout of nausea and my sense of smell seems to be up as well as swollen but not sore yet boobs so you never know. Still bfn on the tests but not sure exactly what I was expecting at 10dpo ngl.

re6ecca · 20/10/2020 00:26

4 days until AF due.

2alreadywantanother · 20/10/2020 07:04

@re6ecca rub gona hold out another few days or test soon. I got my bfp at 10dpo

re6ecca · 20/10/2020 09:16

Tested and got bfn, not sure what I was expecting given my previous history of late bfp.
I dont think ill be getting a bfp this month though.
Gosh why does this get to me so much. I get so incredibly depressed when I get my period.

susiebluebell · 20/10/2020 09:39

@MSG92 Thanks, you're so right that a bit of a mope can do wonders and let you crack on with renewed energy afterward. All day Sunday I was feeling irritable and craving every food under the sun, which should have been a giveaway really. Flow is slowing down now and should be done by tomorrow. Fresh hope for a fresh cycle!

@Forest27 Thank you, I'm well! Symptom spotting is a nightmare, so fickle! Hope you're able to lose yourself in work a bit this week! Xx

Chin up, I know that feeling so well. I've banned myself from any early testing after seeing the heartache some of the ladies on here have gone through with that. A new cycle is a new opportunity to conceive, we've got to stick with that xx
MSG92 · 20/10/2020 10:06

I'm on CD10 today, DTD last night, now a couple days off, trying to do every 2 or 3 days throughout apart from ovulation.

How often does everyone else DTD during ovulation? I read that everyday isn't as good as every other but at the same time you want to get as many swimmers enroute as possible!!! I was thinking am day before ovulation and pm day of ovulation so it allows like 36hrs in between instead of 24hrs...

Babybutterflies · 20/10/2020 10:11

Joining group. I'm new & need some support. 99% sure just had a CP as had every sign of implantation etc but didn't test as early MC in June.

2alreadywantanother · 20/10/2020 11:53

@re6ecca send hugs 😥💕

re6ecca · 20/10/2020 12:41

Sorry ladies, I wasn't having a good morning this morning. I thought my period was starting for sure due to cervix, negative test and really nasty cramps, but it hasn't, and I think it was my IBS.
Hope isn't entirely gone but I am 97% sure this ain't my month
Thank you for your kindness 🥰 and i definitely won't be testing again unless AF doesn't show.

KM89 · 20/10/2020 14:44

Hi everyone just finishing up my first period after my ERPC. I plan on tracking my ovulation this month but still need to order some ovulation sticks. What CD do you recommend starting to test from? Obviously no idea what length of cycle I'm going to have 🙄

Katy34 · 20/10/2020 17:45

Hi ladies well af is now five days late and still getting bfn, been feeling nauseous on and off the last two days and quite tired, still no sign of my usual af symptoms, so very confused 🤷‍♀️

Runnergirl1 · 20/10/2020 18:27

@Katy34 what tests are you using? X

Katy34 · 20/10/2020 18:38

@Runnergirl1 I have used cheapo hcg strips, frer, cb and tesco own, ( poas addict) lol 😂 going to wait until the weekend to test again, as if af doesn't turn up by Friday I will be 8 days by then, 🥺

Runnergirl1 · 20/10/2020 20:23

@Katy34 oh wow what I was going to say won’t do then haha as you have all dye colours etc covered. Hopefully you get your answer soon. I was very late last month but I didn’t have symptoms like you have x

HappyVibes · 20/10/2020 21:00

@KM89 hey lovely. With the ovulation sticks they give you an indicator in the packs of what CD to start testing on dependent on your average cycle length. Sorry I can’t give a definitive as it depends on your cycle length and which kits you get lovely xxx

HappyVibes · 20/10/2020 21:03

@MSG92 Everyone is completely different in here in relation to how often we DTD etc. Some go with the SMEP approach, some do daily from first high day, some do every other day.

Personally we DTD every day in my fertile window. Around ovulation itself I wouldn’t want to miss the day before & the day of ovulation for sure - these are the two highest chance days. xxxx

HappyVibes · 20/10/2020 21:06

@Katy34 & @re6ecca oh ladies I feel your emotions right now. The wait is so hard isn’t it. How many DPO are you both & when is AF due? Xxx

Furbsies · 20/10/2020 21:12

Hey guys. Back after a couple of busy days. Have been dtding every other day. My cycle was so messed up last month so I'm opk-ing everyday for now. No peak so far. Both my apps are telling me different weeks for ovulation due to messed up previous cycle.

How is everyone else doing
