@RubyRainbow16 @daisyorange
Last few days i had been thinking of trying to take a more relaxed approach and then this morning just been reading up on the clearblue 4 day opks 🙈 not ordered any from amazon but tempted !!! Either of you ladies tried digital opk? Xx

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 11:06

@MgW1
Hi, I havent used the 4 day opks from clearblue but I did use their clearblue monitor which worked in a similar way, I put the stick into the monitor and it gives me a low, high or peak result. Do recommend it as it took away a lot of the guess work and made me more relaxed x

daisyorange · 07/11/2020 11:08

@MgW1

I used CB digital OPK on the month we fell, but I never got a positive test so we just winged it! The smiley face flashes when your LH levels are high and then go static when you hit your peak. They only came in a pack of 5 I think, and I have to test twice a day often to catch my peak - so it didn't work for me, I ran out before I even got there. Fermometer ones work really well for me, but I think I'm going to give them up for the rest of the year anyway!

X

MgW1 · 07/11/2020 11:19

@daisyorange and @MoMof4xx
Might give cb a try - on offer 20 tests at amazon for £25. How many would you use do you think? I need to make sure im ovulating due to severe lack of ewcm and these tests monitor estrogen?? X

susiebluebell · 07/11/2020 11:28

Massive congratulations to you @RubyRainbow16. That's made me tear up! It's so lovely to have so many BFPs lately. @HappyVibes I agree with the others, wait a couple of days. You had a great line there, hold onto that! 💐

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 11:32

@MgW1 20 should be fine. Before bfp I would get through many sticks at first as I was trying to understand when I ovulated. Started doing them a day after pmt ended. Then once I understood when in the cycle that I ovulated, I did less opks. I always did two a day once the second line started to get darker, that way I didnt miss my peak. Xx

RubyRainbow16 · 07/11/2020 11:44

@susiebluebell @griff2019 thank you so much for your congratulations!!

@MgW1 ive never tried any digital or clear blue OPKs, this month I used ‘easy@home’ and used the Premom app to interpret them x

Ra1nb0w85 · 07/11/2020 12:23

Hi all. I wondered if any of you might be able to help? ... I had a chemical pregnancy last month and am approaching my first ovulation since. I am now having more flashy faces on the clear blue ovulation predictor than normal. Do chemical pregnancies increase your fertility like mc's do? I was in similar position in July when I had 10 flashies before a static but this was following a MC when I was much further along and those that knew said the silver lining of Mc is it makes u more fertile for a few months. Is it the same with CP? XX

RichmondLady1981 · 07/11/2020 12:31

@RubyRainbow16 in so so happy for you. What magical news!

@Runnergirl1 that’s so hard. Our pasts shape our future for sure, but we just have to find some strength to face things. You can do it. It will be scary but all will be fine. Like others have said, very slim to happen again.

@HappyVibes it’s true, test that are taken around the same time can look so different. There are few YouTube videos that show this. So don’t worry and try to wait till Monday if you can.

So ladies with recent BFPs.... do anything different this month? Would you mind sharing what you did this month DTD frequency wise, any coffee? Alcohol at all? Supplements? Stress high or low at work? It find it super helpful so hear what you’re all up to. :). Thanks in advance 💕

familybythesea · 07/11/2020 12:52

@Runnergirl1 @Pugprincess @daisyorange @HappyVibes @MSG92 @RichmondLady1981 Thank you all for your kind words. I haven’t really been able to tell anyone so I appreciate the support. It means a lot.

familybythesea · 07/11/2020 12:54

@HappyVibes I hope you’re not stressing too much (easier said than done!), but I echo the others in that it will depend on how much you’ve drunk and how diluted your urine is, even at the same time each day. I’ve got everything crossed for you xx

Bellabubble · 07/11/2020 13:24

Sadly my scan didn’t tie up at all with my dates (2weeks out) so although they want me to have a scan in a week to check for changes, I know this is another mmc. It sucks - but I have always been very pragmatic. For me I find my overriding emotion is frustration, at the time lost! But the lady scanning was amazing - she used to be a midwife and said I needed worry about getting a fertility scan, as things are working there, but to re-do bloods (I never got my cd3 bloods due to bfp, and my cd21 were probaby off due to being a week after ovulation where I was actually pregnant- if that makes sense!) but she also said to grt a thyroid and vitamin b12 check. So those are my next steps! I’m not going to go hell for leather again like I did before with tracking and dtd - I’m going to stick to bbt and cm changes, as the 2 times I did that we fell pregnant! Not the news we had hoped for, but oh and I are doing ok, and we’ll have our rainbow baby somewhen - I feel positive about that! x

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 13:57

@Bellabubble im really sorry. I understand your frustration. I too had a mmc and its the fact that everything seems to be going fine until you have a scan and they break the news. Glad you had a nice sonographer, does make a different, in these covid times it can be a lonely process xx

Runnergirl1 · 07/11/2020 14:00

@Bellabubble I am so so sorry. You sound quite positive which is brilliant. You will get your rainbow I am sure. Best of luck and take some time for yourselves xx

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 14:02

@RichmondLady1981
Hi, I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle post mmc. First cycle I didnt ovulate, I usually do but that cycle I kept getting highs and no peak and hardly any ewcm.
This cycle I stuck to one coffee a day, warm but not hot showers, I drank more water to help my cm. I would still have the odd alcoholic drink. I tried to relax more as I've heard that stress horomes take over. We dtd around ovulation every other day and on the day of ovulation, day after and day after that. I took pregnacare pre conception vitamins too. Hope this helps xx

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 14:06

@MoMof4xx sending you so much love. Your message reads so so well in terms of how you perceive all of this and I genuinely fully fully resonate with every word you say. 💓💓

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 14:09

Thanks @familybythesea @RichmondLady1981 @susiebluebell I’ve just order some more FRER tests and we will see what comes of those. I was a bit sceptical with how light the line was yesterday & did wonder if it should be darker - but I’m not due AF until Wednesday so, we shall see. Time will tell, I will keep you all updated. Sending you all lots of happy vibes ⭐️

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 14:15

@HappyVibes
Thank you lovely :) xx

MgW1 · 07/11/2020 14:34

@MoMof4xx
I think i didnt ovulate first 2 cycles post mc. Got a peak this month just gone but no ewcm. I am hoping things improve this month 🤞🏻 just takes time. Xx

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 15:52

@MgW1 sorry if its tmi but is it watery? As long as its watery u should be fine. I know some people who swear by preseed. Water and grapefruit juice are meant to improve cm xx

susiebluebell · 07/11/2020 16:05

@Bellabubble hugs to you! I so admire your courage and pragmatism. Your attitude is great. Did the sonographer tell you it was definitely a mmc? Sorry for the sensitive question but I wasn't sure if this was something you'd figured out yourself or whether they told you. Xx

Bellabubble · 07/11/2020 16:46

@susiebluebell thank you - and don’t worry - I find things easier to process when I understand things - so I asked a lot of questions today! The sonographer was also a midwife who decided to open her own scanning place, and she was so good at explaining things, I wish she was still a midwife so I could have her when my time comes!! She said a mmc is whenever the body continues to think it’s pregnant after things have stopped progressing - so even if it starts naturally, it’s still a mmc. She also said that because I have fallen pregnant twice, it’s not top priority to get a fertility scan - but she suggested I get a thyroid and vitamin b12 blood test done as they are linked to early miscarriages. So I feel like I have some information to go forward with. She is scanning me next week too to check as they have to under national guidelines, but to be 2 weeks out from bbt rise and a bfp it is very very unlikely that I got my dates wrong! (Also we didn’t dtd in tww or after my bfp because we were superstitious so we know our dates aren’t wrong!)

Bellabubble · 07/11/2020 16:48

@MoMof4xx @Runnergirl1 thank you ladies! I’m feeling very pragmatic right now..although if it’s another 7cycles before a bfp I’ll be starting to stress again!

MgW1 · 07/11/2020 17:43

@MoMof4xx
Not watery just dry. Im presuming because mc was at 14 weeks , it might take longer to get back to normal? X

RichmondLady1981 · 07/11/2020 17:53

@Bellabubble I’m so sorry to read your post. I am absolutely in awe of your attitude towards this. I hope you get your test results as swiftly as possible so you can get back on the road to TTC and your rainbow. We are all here for you x x 💕
