@daisyorange yes exactly! Because it happened last time so fast I just assumed it would happen again. I thought I’d deffo be pregnant by October. Also a few friends and people I know said they got pregnant straight after their miscarriage so I thought I’d be the same.
I was 7 weeks but so similar we had just got our heads around it and got so excited and before we even got to tell people it was over, it all happens so fast!
Ahh I’m usually bad with testing but this month I keep putting it off - I think because I don’t particularly ‘feel pregnant’. This is my first month of doing BBT so don’t know what my normal is yet but I’ve heard a lot about a drop before AF.
Aww love that with the Christmas pudding 😍😍 that would be the best Christmas present ever 🎄✨ xx

HappyVibes · 06/11/2020 22:04

@familybythesea so sorry lovely I’ve just caught up & my heart ached reading your message. Sending you the biggest and most supportive thoughts right now. 💓💫

MSG92 · 06/11/2020 22:08

I missed loads of msgs, didn't get any emails to say anything had been posted.

@familybythesea I am so sorry, this is awful news for you. I hope you are both OK.

@daisyorange I think there is some truth in the "just relax" approach as i read something about a study that linked the stress hormone to length of time it takes to conceive, and obviously if it's on your mind all the time it'll feel like it takes longer.

RichmondLady1981 · 06/11/2020 23:26

@familybythesea I’m so sorry to hear such awful news. Sending lots of love your way. I know it’s hard but it is best for your safety that you go ahead and get checked. 💕

Pugprincess · 07/11/2020 01:01

@daisyorange my experience was 5 years ttc, about to start IUI and was on the first lockdown. I’d previously been working 2 jobs and was then home for ages with lockdown so was happily getting on with house things I’d not had time for, having lie ins etc, that’s when I fell with the baby I eventually lost. Obviously we were really devastated by the loss as we had tried so long and had given up hope of it happening naturally for us. Thought that’s it I’m going to have to go back to fertility treatment after all. Then after mc I had so much more ew mucus and was so lucky to catch again first time. I kind of feel like I deserve it after those 5 years though anymore and I really worry what I’d have done, it’s made me feel almost suicidal at times 😔 looking back now I see the first baby was a sign sent to say everything is ok fertility wise and I was obviously just doing too much so even though I didn’t feel particularly stressed my body obviously was. I also think if it had happened a couple of years ago I would be stuck in my small rented flat whereas now we have bought a house so in a better position for a child.

Anyway I hope my story can give some of you some hope 🤞🏻🙏🏻 ❤️ I know how hard ttc is. We tried EVERYTHING (fertility cup, fertility lube, ttc everyday, every other day, opk tests, bbt, various apps, giving up and hoping it would just happen when not expecting) be kind to yourselves and your bodies ❤️ Xxx

daisyorange · 07/11/2020 05:04

@Pugprincess thank you SO much for sharing your story. What an absolute rollercoaster you’ve been on and such a lovely ending. I am so absolutely thrilled for you to get that BFP naturally after everything.

I definitely feel you on the thinking you are relaxed but actually not being. I think I am exactly the same in that regard. What I feel is ‘not stressed’ probably looks pretty stressed for a calmer person. I really want to work on that. And regarding your living situation now, I really do agree that things happen when the timing is right and they are truly meant for you - I struggle to see it that way 100% of the time as I do have bad days but I do believe it.

So pleased for you and I bet you can’t wait to meet your little one now. ♥️💕

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 08:41

Good morning ladies,

I’m really confused this morning with my testing - it seems very faint still...& I think fainter than yesterday too. I think i know that this means that this CP but we shall try again tomorrow before I confirm it as such. Blooming heck.

Clutching at straws well & truly here, but does anyone having any words of wisdom or experiences that may still mean this could be my BFP?

💫 💓

Runnergirl1 · 07/11/2020 09:24

@HappyVibes hcg doubles ever 48hrs so you may not see a change from yesterday so try not to panic just yet x

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 09:33

Thanks @Runnergirl1 I think I might wait it out until Monday before I test again, just so it’s more clear in terms of hcg levels cos 100% it should be darker by Monday. So I’ll know for sure from Monday’s test, whereas I’d probably still question it if it was tomorrow.

Hope you’re well lovely lady xxx

RubyRainbow16 · 07/11/2020 09:38

Just want to pop a message on here to everyone who has offered me support and kind words over the last few weeks. This morning I was due AF - no sign so I did a test and I got my BFP! I can’t believe it I’m in shock. Can’t stop crying with happiness ❤️🌈

Runnergirl1 · 07/11/2020 09:40

@HappyVibes I waited a day in between when I retested as I’ve heard a lot of people worry of it not getting darker. It’s easier said than done but try remain positive.

I’m ok I’m just full of nerves and worry about this pregnancy already (so much for remaining positive lol) ever twinge I think that’s it but I am trying my best. Was hoping for an early scan but apparently epu aren’t doing them for repeat miscarriage woman Due to Covid so that hasn’t helped how I’m feeling x

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 09:40

@HappyVibes sometimes it can be the test. I ordered a lot of tests to check for the progression and whilst I was waiting for amazon to deliver I got impatient and bought some early signs tests. Dont ask me why but as I had so many I used both on the same sample and they're different colours. Photo taken at the same time with tests from the same batch. All is not lost xx

MoMof4xx · 07/11/2020 09:43

@RubyRainbow16 congratulations on your bfp :) xx

MSG92 · 07/11/2020 09:45

@RubyRainbow16 congratulations!!!! Such brilliant news

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 09:46

Oh goodness @MoMof4xx @Runnergirl1 thank you girls for responding. That is hopeful, we shall see what Monday brings 💫

Runnergirl - could you maybe book in for an early private scan for reassurance for yourself? I certainly will be booking many private scans as I know that I too will feel the same as you & think that they will give me a bit of comfort and reassurance.

@RubyRainbow16 oh my goodness this is truly truly amazing! How blooming magical. So so happy for you lovely lady.

💓💓💓

WatermelonSugar10 · 07/11/2020 09:47

@RubyRainbow16 congratulations on your BFP xxxx
Wow, lots of BFPs!!

RubyRainbow16 · 07/11/2020 09:56

Thank you so much everyone. I was convinced I wasn’t I didn’t even want to do the test because I didn’t want disappointment! The line showed up straight away!!
Now to get lots of rest and ‘relax’!

daisyorange · 07/11/2020 10:00

Massive congrats @RubyRainbow16!!! You will have that little Christmas pudding after all 💕☺️

Runnergirl1 · 07/11/2020 10:09

@HappyVibes yeah I think I’ll have too but that’s got bad memories too as I went at 8weeks last time and they said I was only measuring 6 - that’s where my mmc journey began. It seems I can’t win lol

@RubyRainbow16 I totally missed that bfp. Congratulations lovely x

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 10:10

Oh @RubyRainbow16 this is such a special moment. So so happy for you lovely. How many DPO are you? Is this an FRER or just a standard test? Xxxx

HappyVibes · 07/11/2020 10:12

Ah I see @Runnergirl1 that’s a tough one to balance. Ah goodness. I just wish so much we could erase the previous pain and experiences and enjoy our future TTc/Pregnancy journeys all magical and blissfully naive 💓

Runnergirl1 · 07/11/2020 10:14

@HappyVibes I am so with you there. I hope your line gets darker on Monday. Sending lots of baby dust x

Pugprincess · 07/11/2020 10:20

@RubyRainbow16 awww congratulations 🥳!!!!

@daisyorange no problem xxx

@Runnergirl1 ah no that’s so unfair of the epu 😩 at least you can have someone to handhold with you if you can face a private one? Maybe use a different place this time so you are t returning to the same place xx

RubyRainbow16 · 07/11/2020 10:26

Ahh thank you everyone! I can’t get my head around it. Trying not to think about the possibility of mc and just enjoy it - the chances of it happening twice are slim ☹️🤞🏻 @HappyVibes I’m 14 DPO today, that’s the first test I’ve done. It’s FR quick result - not early. I’m going to get a clear blue dating one today xx

griff2019 · 07/11/2020 10:42

@RubyRainbow16 congratulations - that's a very dark positive line! 🎉
