@RubyRainbow16 Welcome. Sorry you are here and sorry for your loss. I think everything you have said is right, and rational, and good advice, but it's also so much easier said than done. You've been pregnant and lost it, and now you will want it back more than ever. Everyone here understands those feelings and obsessive thoughts. It's all consuming. At the end of the day you have to do what is right for you. You can't force yourself to switch off so if temping and OPK's help you function, it isn't going to be detrimental. From my experience on this group, for every person that said 'I fell pregnant this cycle without even thinking about ttc' there was another that said 'I'm pregnant and this cycle I tracked bbt, used OPK's and preseed, took every vitamin under the sun, drowned myself in Pomegranate juice and ate more pineapple than you can shake a stick at'. I don't think you can force it to happen. But if you feel like you are doing some good by tracking then do. Don't don't forget to give your body chance to settle after the mc in august. Not that you can't ttc right away, it just might take longer than you anticipate for your cycles to regulate and things to settle down enough to conceive a sticky baba. Xx

Jazper · 26/10/2020 19:49

Thank you so much @MichT4 for the offer and the support. I will try to relax for now. Promise x

RubyRainbow16 · 26/10/2020 20:03

@Jazper thank you so much for your kind words. It makes me feel better knowing other people feel just the same as me and understand the obsessing - even though I’m so sorry that you all feel that way also. What is your story?
I’ve told myself I’m going to track it until December and if not pregnant then will try and ‘relax’ over Christmas and see what happens. I’m just so desperate to be pregnant by April as that was when I was due and I don’t think I can face it. My sister was two weeks ahead of me, she is due in March and I’m so struggling to come to terms th the fact that she will have her baby and I won’t, as awful as it sounds Sad

2alreadywantanother · 26/10/2020 21:11

Hey @rubyrainbow16 sorry ur joining us here. I'm just awaiting af after my mmc in sept. 9wks I was 😢 and I totally get u about becoming obsessed. I want it so bad now and it's all I think about now. I'm lucky in the sence tho I've 2 already. We caught quick ly the last time there so hoping it happens quickly again. I'm 40 so if it doesn't happen in the next few mths then so be it.

RubyRainbow16 · 26/10/2020 21:16

@2alreadywantanother oh no so sorry for your loss. It’s so sad how common it is and you don’t realise until you go through it yourself. I think once you’ve had it and it’s taken away from you it makes you want it so much more 😢 are you trying again? Are you using anything like OPKs or BBT?

2alreadywantanother · 26/10/2020 21:22

@rubyrainbow16 would u believe if I told u my friend, with the same 1st name as myself went through the same 3 wks b4 me 😢
Yeah ttc straight away. We only started trying in june and got bfp in early aug. We had said if it doesn't happen it doesn't but we tried. But now it happened we want it more. Doing cheap opk. Did bbt and RHR last time but havent stated yet. I Will when af arrives. My RHR is still high, higher than when I was pregnant which is weird.

RubyRainbow16 · 26/10/2020 21:37

@2alreadywantanother oh no that is so sad. It’s shocking how many friends/colleagues/family have said they’ve been through it.
I’ve never tried doing RHR does it rise when ovulating like BBT? Yeah I’m just doing the cheap OPKs but it’s all new to me, I had peak on Friday so assuming ovulated on Saturday so fingers crossed!

HappyVibes · 26/10/2020 21:40

Aww hey @MichT4 where are you upto lovely? Been thinking of you and wondering how you’re getting on. I see your due date is approaching - it’s hard isn’t it the closer we get to it. Xx

HappyVibes · 26/10/2020 21:44

@chloedancer897 wow that is amazing news re your progesterone. I am really happy for you lovely. I know you’ve been really worked up about it over the weekend. Xxx

2alreadywantanother · 26/10/2020 22:10

@rubyrainbow16 yeah and rises for implantation and stays up if pregnant. Drops for af

Pugprincess · 27/10/2020 00:49

@VP91x @Jazper yes that was me. Try not to worry I had brown spotting for weeks and I was meant to be 6+4 by my ovulation but they told me 5+6. We could see a heartbeat but the smaller measurement scared me too. They told me at the time they can’t be too accurate as it’s too tiny to properly measure so I believe even though I’ve caught up I probably was 6+4 back then anyway. Hopefully when you go back you will see some growth and a clearer image of heartbeat. I’d be tempted to have a private scan in a weeks time as they should be long enough to see some progression I would have thought? Depends how good you are at being patient too 😩

@Chickoletta congratulations to you! Just when you had given up ❤️ Just goes to show doesn’t it sometimes x

Got a couple more pages to catch up on but thought I’d just respond quickly x

Pugprincess · 27/10/2020 01:04

@Jazper so sorry I didn’t reply quicker 🙈 I thought I’d checked the thread yesterday 😩 I was also thinking the heartbeat starts at slightly different times I think so I wonder if you have literally just caught it starting as I think it’s slow then gets faster from a video I watched on YouTube. I might be wrong but I can post the link, it’s long but it’s a lovely programme that takes you through a whole pregnancy. Also I still occasionally get some brown 😩 I think it’s just normal for me at this point 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Chickoletta if it’s any consolation I STILL check for blood after every toilet trip 😩😩😩 never gets any easier unfortunately anxiety wise. Many friends tell me this is it now you worry for life 😅

SS123456 · 27/10/2020 08:48

So I'm CD8 post mc (I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1) and I have a static smiley on CB digital following 2 days of flashing smilies 🤔. Somehow I don't think that can be right?!

WatermelonSugar10 · 27/10/2020 09:27

Hi Ladies
Sorry to join your group, just looking for a bit of hope. We MC’d in June at 11 weeks after conceiving first time (very lucky), it’s now been 4 months and still have yet to fall and losing hope. Did it take anyone a long time after a mc? I have read so many positive stories about people falling back before a period and wondering if there is something wrong with me.
Congratulations to everyone who is pregnant with their rainbow xxx

AlisonT13 · 27/10/2020 10:09

@MSG92

Look at last months spike compared to this month, and look at my tests, barely a line!! Why?!?! I need to ovulate!!!!!
Try to keep testing and you might ovulate later in this cycle. Good luck!
MichT4 · 27/10/2020 10:44

Hey @HappyVibes. I'm CD10 today so just waiting to start OPKs and stuff. Don't know if I said but predicted ovulation is my due date 😫. Finding the upcoming date quite tough, just need it to pass. Trying to keep positive that it'll happen soon. My RMC follow up basically told me my bloods were spot on, so while there's no magic pill, I'm trying to take it as a prescription of pma in that I can eliminate the stress that something is wrong. Just keeping distracted, trying to keep busy and keeping everything crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼
How are you getting on? xxx

Furbsies · 27/10/2020 10:46

@watermelonsugar10 there is nothing wrong with you at all. Had a MC at 7 weeks in May and my cycle has been all over the place. With normal AF in June, July and August and then September came with a super long 47 day cycle. Think the body is still adjusting.

I guess some of us just need a little more time.

MichT4 · 27/10/2020 11:01

@WatermelonSugar10 there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. My first MC was back in March, and I'm yet to fall pregnant and it stick. I agree with @Furbsies that our bodies need the time to recover and reset, and we need to try and give it that time. We have been TTC since then but annoyingly it can just take a little bit of time to fall again. It'll happen though, keep positive lovely xx

HappyVibes · 27/10/2020 11:08

Ah well that’s definitely reassuring @MichT4 It’s hard to have PMA all the time isn’t it? But as you say, hopefully the clear results are less pressurising for you in terms of reducing stress and worry of if anything may be underlying etc.

Oh gosh I know, and I think that’s fully okay to feel like that - it brings so many emotions doesn’t it.

My due date is approaching and my sister in law was 1.5weeks behind me. So we are now just planning her baby shower which is very bitter sweet for me. I’m worrying at how I’ll feel when her baby arrives, if I’m not pregnant by then. I want to bond and be the most amazing aunty, but I do wonder how I’ll be if I’m not pregnant by then. I feel awful saying that. But the 1.5week gap is hard not to look at it and think about our baby.

I’m in the TWW at the moment - only just, 3DPO. I took clomid this cycle so I’m optimistic but at the same time I’m realistic to the possibility of AF given the previous cycles.

Oh hopefully your FW is fast approaching and you can feel a bit more relaxed about everything from the clear testing.

Sending you so much happy and positive vibes lovely. You have been a big support for me and other ladies, you deserve this happiness 💓

MichT4 · 27/10/2020 11:26

@HappyVibes oh I feel you! My sister is due end of December and her friend called me the other day about a shower. I have now told her what happened (she's an old family friend so I've known her a long long time) as the shower was the day after my due date and there was just no way. Partly selfish reasons but I also didn't want to bring her day down.
I've generally been ok with it but recently she's been talking to me quite directly about it and I've found it quite uncomfy. I think I'll avoid too much contact over the next few weeks because I feel myself getting mega bitter and I don't want to be like that.

Same as you, really hoping I'm pregnant by the time the baby arrives but also don't want the pressure. Trying to let things happen when the time is right. But you are totally right that a PMA is hard to keep up. It fades off quite frequently!

3dpo is an exciting stage. Not long to wait now. Really hope this is your month. Did you cover yourself well over FW?

You've also been a huge support, this group really saved me when I needed it. Always keeping my eye out and keeping everything crossed for a lot of rainbow babies before the year is out

xx

re6ecca · 27/10/2020 11:31

Still waiting for a bfp :(

HappyVibes · 27/10/2020 12:18

Ah very similar situation there @MichT4 it’s a blooming emotional journey this. I said to my husband the other day that we are gunna have to start TTC for baby number 2 about two years in advance next time now we know it’s not as simple as I once thought.

I think we covered well - we got three in before ovulation, and then on ovulation day too. I didn’t use clearblue this cycle so just OPKs, which was healthier I think as we weren’t DTD for 7+ days then.

I shall keep my eye out for your updates 💓Xxxxx

MichT4 · 27/10/2020 13:04

@HappyVibes sounds like you are very well covered. I have high hopes for you. I'll be checking in often and hope for some lovely news in about 10 days 🤞🏼. Thank you for checking in xxx

@re6ecca have you tested this morning? Sorry to hear you are still waiting

familybythesea · 27/10/2020 13:34

Hi everyone, I’ve been a bit quiet recently as got extremely obsessed last month and made myself a bit ill from all the anxiety and worrying. This month I was much more chilled (other than tracking my temp - I needed to know I was ovulating for peace of mind). I had an appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic last week, which was pretty reassuring and positive. They took more bloods and I’m waiting on the results...
...but in the meanwhile I got my BFP! I feel mixed saying this as I know so many of you are still feeling so raw from your losses and are in a similar frame of mind to how I’ve been. But then I remember how much hope it gave me when I saw others get their positives. I hope it helps to hear it can happen, but if not just scroll on by, I get it.

I’m freaking out a bit at the moment - the line is pretty pale and I’m only 11DPO (but usually get my period 10DPO so kind of knew). Hopefully it gives hope to those with a short LP. For now I will just enjoy it and hope so much it lasts this time!

HappyVibes · 27/10/2020 13:50

Awww that’s amazing @familybythesea congratulations!!!!!

What an amazing success story and I absolutely agree that it gives us all hope. So happy for you lovely.

Please may you share you story in regards to how many cycles post MC etc? I love love love these success stories - thank you for sharing.

Congratulations again xxxxxx
