How are you feeling this evening @chloedancer897? Please remember that you haven’t had full evidence of not ovulating regularly. It is genuinely normal for most women to have a couple of months each year where there’s no ovulation, so you may have just picked up one of those months. Please try not to rule it out completely as your chart indicates ovulation for sure in the other month 💓💓💓

@HappyVibes any reason to make it more romantic!!! Yes hopefully TWW buddies. Last month wasn't my month but fingers crossed for this month!

This is very much a TMI question so apologies in advance lols....

After DTD how long after do you ladies go for a wee?

Dunno if I’m over thinking it but I get really conscious of needing to go to prevent infections, but also wary of going and loosing the sperm.

@HappyVibes I usually don't go for about 30 mins or so. But have heard of ferti lily and things thst people use if you would wish to. Keeps the sperm in I guess

I'll give that a try if it doesn't work out in the next 6 months or so

@HappyVibes thank you. I'm getting my D21 bloods done tomorrow just to see what it's like. Pretty sure it'll confirm that I haven't ovulated. Looked back on my temps and don't think I ovulated last month either. I've contacted my consultant again to see what to do from there but I really feel like I can't do it anymore. My husband is absolutely devastated. But it's not happening to him every month. It's so much easier for him not to think about it all the time

@HappyVibes I don't wait that long at all. Max 5mins then I'm up. I get UTI's so easily so it's built in to me to go to the loo straight after.

The strong swimmers will be on their way straight away so it shouldn't affect conception.

Ah yeah @Rumples that’s reassuring as I wait 10-15mins and then go. I have read that the strong swimmers take about 1min (if that), and anything thereafter won’t be successful in conception so genuinely doesn’t affect chances - so that’s reassuring.

Just my mind last night thinking in overdrive of any other way to help 😂

Ah that’s good @chloedancer897 re: the bloods and that you’ve spoken to the consultant to get a bit more clarity. Honestly babe 2 months is normal, and you definitely ovulated the month before from your charts. It’s good that you’re getting the tests redone as hormones can change so much in two years. I just really feel for you and don’t want you putting your thoughts in overdrive and having concrete thoughts that you don’t ovulate without the medical oversight.

Bless you lovely it’s so so hard is this journey and youve been through so much emotionally. Ah I know it’s our bodies so I fully get why you feel like that. Emotionally though, it is very taxing on the men too, as they too are on the journey with us. It’s not their bodies but it’s still something they absolutely drove for and want...so they do still go through the similar emotions as us in relation to the journey.

@HappyVibes I read on NHS website that sperm move so fast you don't need to wait! & that holding your hips up or staying still is not proven to increase chances of conception

Yeah I read similar too @re6ecca It was just my mind playing more tricks on me questioning every tiny thing I do that may or may not be assisting 🤣xxx

@HappyVibes the first time I fell pg, we had only dtd once and we were being super quick as it was the first time in ages we were home alone for a short window (we lived at my mum and dads whilst our new build was being completed and had no bedroom door) but I remember getting up within a couple of minutes for the loo, so you don’t have to wait too long :)

Got my first positive opk since my mmc this morning. Partners away today but we dtd last night and will tomorrow.... fingers crossed x

Great topic here, I have terrible pelvic floor muscles, I'm working on it but I really struggle to hold stuff in after DTD, anyone else find this? I wait about 5 mins before going to the toilet but like someone else said earlier I get UTI's so I always make sure I go to the toilet after. I heard that putting your legs up etc is a myth but by just lying flat for a few minutes you can aid it by not making gravity work against them getting where they are trying to go, which makes sense!

@msg92 pretty much the same thought. Gravity works right and I don't have weak pelvic floor muscles but still struggle to keep it in.

I read somewhere that it takes about 1 min for the good swimmers to go up so the cups, legs in the air stuff isn't supported by evidence. I watched videos from several gynaecologists who wouldn't support the cup. Although anecdotally, I've heard several people on here use them and end up pregnant!! PS you should always pee before sex. That's what causes cystitis! Not pleasant 😞

Hi ladies, I am beginning to dare to hope a tiny bit. I'm on day 32 of my cycle, and i still have masses of CM & my cervix feels really soft.
If i make it another couple days ill buy some more pregnancy tests.

Update from me ladies...I think I am now in my TWW as of today. I think I ovulated yesterday - felt nauseas and headache too. Never ever had that before with ovulation but researched it and it is a thing apparently. I am guessing it’s happened this month due to the Clomid increasing the hormones, therefore it being stronger.

May DTD today too, just ‘one for the road’ kind of thing lols.
