It’s really helpful isn’t it @SS123456 I got mine for piece of mind when we started TTC just for general reassurance and was super impressed with their service and detail! Xx

chloedancer897 · 23/10/2020 00:01

@SS123456 what is medichecks? Do they have it in N Ireland?

Pugprincess · 23/10/2020 05:09

@chloedancer897 bless you had to reply as you know I spent 5 years where you are now, but I don’t have any children to start with. It’s awful and totally out of your control. I tried everything too. Maybe you are destined to do something else, how would you feel about adoption for example? It was a route I deeply considered for my future. If you can offer a child a loving home it may also help to heal you after all this pain, I understand it’s not for everyone though. Sending you hugs xxx

HappyVibes · 23/10/2020 06:52

@chloedancer897 morning lovely, I did a post last night about and it says about medichecks in there, I’ve just googled it and it is applicable for NI xxx

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 06:59

@chloedancer897 they are a company who do private health checks and blood tests x

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 09:21

I've just done an opk and femometer registered it as 'high' (albeit a low high). Is this just linked to the post mc hormones still in me as surely my body isn't gearing up to ovulate 4 days post mc? (I stopped bleeding yesterday). I also did a IC HGC test too at the same time and no HCG was detected as still being present

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 09:57

@re6ecca I think I possibly see something but it is not very clear. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻😊

2alreadywantanother · 23/10/2020 10:03

@chloedancer897 it saddens me us women have to endure such pain to bring life into this world.
As the old saying goes, theres always someone in a worse situation. And I know they are not really words of comforts but it's true. Like yourself I've 2 and I'm so grateful I do. I've a family member having an awful time ttc with fertility issues and a few mc and I would want to go through what shes going through. I had a mmc last month that shattered my heart. Absolutely heartbroken. And yes I'm ttc again but if it doesn't happen I am blessed with what I have.
Like @pugprincess suggested I would (myself) seriously consider fostering in the future if it doesn't happen for me.
Please take some time away from the doom and gloom of ttc and treat yourself. Take a breather. I really hope your story changes along the way but dont be hard on urself. I'm only up.the rd from u in louth, I'd meet u at the border and give u a hug if I could. Xx take care hun

MSG92 · 23/10/2020 10:23

@re6ecca I don't think I see anything. Are you late? Or testing early?

Pugprincess · 23/10/2020 10:36

@SS123456 hi you can ovulate quite quickly after a miscarriage. Keep your eye on it and if your ready to try and have stopped bleeding then go for it. Do you have any other signs like fertile discharge? Xx

@re6ecca could be something really faint there. Where are you in your cycle. Try again each morning with fmu. Although first response aren’t cheap so if using those maybe wait a bit. I just used internet cheap ones xx

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 10:46

Thanks @Pugprincess I will keep testing and see what happens! I stopped bleeding completely yesterday evening but haven't really started with any kind of discharge just yet but I'll keep an eye on it. My bbt is still slightly raised (but dropping) and my resting heart rate is nose diving like it usually would pre-ovulation so we'll have to see I guess

Pugprincess · 23/10/2020 11:23

@SS123456 yes keep an eye. Do you use the clearblue digital ones, I used to switch to them once I started getting lines on cheap ones. I like a definite answer lol. Best of luck XX

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 11:40

@Pugprincess yes I'd been using them the last few months alongside the cheaper ones. I was going go give them a miss this month while things settle but perhaps I'll start them up again next week. Thank you!

Katy34 · 23/10/2020 12:59

Hey just a we update, the spotting I had last night seems to be stopping but still going to wait until Monday, to take another test fingers crossed 🤞

re6ecca · 23/10/2020 14:32

I am due on today but last bfp I only got 6 days late

SS123456 · 23/10/2020 15:11

Has anyone successfully managed to get a gp to prescribe progesterone supplements to treat a short luteal phase?

DBTJ · 23/10/2020 17:53

Afternoon all

Hope you are all well and safe. I'm silently watching and trying to stay sane. Hoping for more BFP x

Furbsies · 23/10/2020 19:11

Hi all. How's everyone doing. I'm opking and got my flashing smiley and on the premom opk have my LH levels rising. Which is nice to see.. Not at peak yet but hopefully getting there.

DH has his birthday this week so works well for all the dtd that needs to happen.

Katy34 · 23/10/2020 20:59

Update: well this is what a get for getting my hopes up.. I thought great the spotting stopped maybe just implantation bleed!....but no... now I'm cramping and bleeding like a light period. So guess this isn't my month either.. so guess just need to speak to my gp on Monday and explain what's happened and continue on with the testing she wanted to do 🥺😢

chloedancer897 · 23/10/2020 22:07

mention-me.com/m/ol/rw5zl-sarah-curran

Just wanted to add my Ava code in here for £20 if anyone wants it. Highly advise BBT since that's what told me I wasn't ovulating regularly! Of course you don't need the Ava but it's easy and means you don't have to stress about recording at the same time every day etc x

HappyVibes · 23/10/2020 22:17

@SS123456 it’s worth keeping an eye on the progression of that. I’ve never heard any of the ladies in here ovulating so soon post MC, but definitely keep an eye on it so you don’t miss anything.

If I remember rightly they do recommend being careful with some OPKs post MCs as not always accurate so close to MC. Please don’t quote me on that but I’m sure that’s what they say - think it was more specifically the CBD ones.

I’ve just done my OPK tonight and got what I think will be my peak. We shall see. Xxx

HappyVibes · 23/10/2020 22:19

@Katy34 aww lovely it’s always such a mixed bag of emotions when AF arrives. I hope you look after yourself. I can’t believe how accurate your prediction was for AF though - that’s a very good indicator of a very good & regular cycle. 💓

HappyVibes · 23/10/2020 22:21

@2alreadywantanother that’s lovely that you would consider fostering. I work in fostering and adoption & it genuinely is life changing and so humbling. I would definitely consider it in the future 💞

HappyVibes · 23/10/2020 22:23

Hey @Furbsies how you doing lovely? That’s exciting coming into your peak stage...& how lovely that you have another reason for DTD other than TTC haha. Looks like we will be TWW buddies 💓
