Hello!

toomuchtimeonline · 02/10/2007 15:33

Aah - nice new thread! Feels cleansing doesn't it!!

[big wave at Nomore and Fi]

toomuchtimeonline · 02/10/2007 15:37

How are you feeling Fi ? How long did the hospital say it should take till you feel human again?

Hi nomore thanks for the new thread! How are you doing - you're 2ww'ing aren't you? How long are your cycles normally?

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 17:02

Hiya fifi how are you feeling?
toomuch you're right, I'm on day 22 and expecting af a week today. Did your af arrive? You were expecting her yesterday I think?

OP posts:
toomuchtimeonline · 02/10/2007 17:28

Yep AF is well and truly here!

Got everything crossed for you that this is your month Nomore!!

Ready · 02/10/2007 17:32

Oooh. New thread

toomuchtimeonline · 02/10/2007 17:40

Hey Ready how are you going?

Ready · 02/10/2007 18:41

Hey toomuch - Sorry that you are in another cycle ((hugs)) - how are you doing?
I am average... lots going on in our life which makes it difficult to concentrate on ttc... perhaps it is a good thing, who knows.

gilly I thought of you last week, reading about China's terracotta army - wondered if you were at all involved in that at work?? How's life in the "smoke"?

nomore - you been doing any virtual shopping of late??

kensgirl - where are you?? and how are you?

mistlethrush - hope your DS has not interupted you too much of late, bless him

scorpio - If you are poking your head in again, big wave. Glad to hear that you are doing well and bang on dates

fifilou - How are you feeling chick?? Here's some virtual chicken soup, hope you feel better real soon

sybil - How are you?? Plenty of action in the boudoir so not getting on line

flosspot and babybratt - hope you are both glowing

Ok... who have I missed?? You'll have to forgive me, I have a terrible memory, and in my defence, my brain is fried, I have been stuck in traffic on the M6/A45 today

Where is everyone??

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 18:54

Hiya Ready I've been doing virtual shopping with godson's mum (and she's been telling me what you do need and what you don't We're thinking of going to the baby show again
How are you?

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 18:54

oops missed a ) there!!

OP posts:
Ready · 02/10/2007 18:58

Oh my goodness!! That looks like heaven!! Although there would probably be lots of bumps walking about, and that would upset me

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:02

Yeah, but if you know they're going to be there it's better than them being all around you unexpectedly in Tesco (not that I get mobbed by pg ladies when I go shopping but you know what I mean) It's a great chance to indulge myself - it's all my virtual shopping for real! Went with same friend in March this year when GS was 6 weeks old - we got lots of freebies!!!

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:03

When we have bumps we can go together and make everyone else jealous as revenge

OP posts:
PiggyPenguin · 02/10/2007 19:03

A fantastic shiny new thread - brilliant! No longer chasing DH around the bedroom, AF is due on Sunday so firmly in the 2ww, but no o sign on my persona so I have written this month off. At least that is what I keep telling myself...

(Umm, Sybil wonders if anyone will believe she's not still manically hoping for a surprise bfp...)

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:05

Hi sybil looks like the new thread has done the trick of bringing you all out of the woodwork I'm due on Mon/Tues, so I'm waiting with you.

OP posts:
PiggyPenguin · 02/10/2007 19:07

Glad I'm not the only one who feels they are being haunted by pg ladies in Tesco's, I swear the place is full of them at the moment. It must be all those xmas/new year pg's coming to fruition.

The baby I mc'd would have been due 2 days ago. I am really really hating all those bumps at present. Still, at least the day has passed and I can move on from it now.

PiggyPenguin · 02/10/2007 19:09

It would be great to get good news together nomore, no moving to scary new pg threads on our own then!

Ready · 02/10/2007 19:11

Sorry sybil hope the day went by without any extra stresses and upset. Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

Nomore - It's a deal, when we have bumps (would be so cool to have them together) we will go to the show and get lots of freebies

I have a killer headache

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:15

sybil (((hugs)))
Ready It's a deal

Now I'm not getting obsessed with dates or anything but...if I'm pg this cycle it would be due around the time of our wedding anniversary (and would have been conceived on the anniversary of when we met )

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:16

Ready It's a deal for pgs and baby show!

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:17

ooh, and you sybil
Heck - let's all get pg this month

OP posts:
Ready · 02/10/2007 19:20

Get obsessed with dates nomore - it's all we've got to cling on to!!

nomoremagnolia · 02/10/2007 19:22

I know clasping at straws!!

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 02/10/2007 20:26

Can I join the life raft? Dh managed boinging at roughly the appropriate time this month (which makes a change), so at least I've got a flicker of a hope, however, not going to be on tenterhooks or anything.

Ds being 'dramatic' as nursery nurse put it rather well on Monday - either absolutely loving and sweet or throwing a complete paddy with fists hammering the floor and the full works. 5.30am rise on Sat am didn't go down too well with me... Almost managed a couple of days earlier but we got 'want a wee' at a critical moment and dh was asleep when I got back

Fi, hope you're feeling a bit better - any idea what the recovery period is? I know that even with a minor op the general anasthetic makes me feel grotty for at least 3 weeks - and that's without anything else major to make me feel bad.

Baby show - we really need a special 'baby free' day when you're only allowed in if you're bump and baby free!

Sybil - ((hugs)). Luckily with last one for me it was an early mc so I had not got to the stage of working out edd. 1st one pretty awful as I found out that my last chemo treatment was on my edd - then would have to wait a further year, so not a great time. I was quite relieved that ds was not 6 days earlier than he was (which wasn't out of the question given the size he was).

We have a very strange situation here though. Ds now has an imaginary 'baby Jack' who gets mentioned quite regularly with no prompting. Baby Jack is normally female, although very occasionally changes sex for the weekend (probably very useful if you ask me!). Baby Jack is so 'real' that I had to go back up the veg department in Sainsbury's and pick her off the floor for ds so we didn't leave her behind. She first appeared about 3 or 4 months ago, just around the time that I would have been expecting. Weird or what? Any thoughts?
