TTC baby no1. Looking for fellow crazy TTC friends!

Hey

This is my 9th month TTC my first baby and I'm 33. I got static smiley on Friday on OPK, and now I'm in my TWW - again! I'm currently on furlough so the wait seems even longer and more painful and I definitely end up going a bit crazy 🤪

Anyone else in similar boat and need keeping sane?! Also any TTC tips you've heard of? I will literally try anything at the moment haha.

I'm about 6 or 7DPO and I'm pretty sure I have just had implantation bleeding. My period isn't due for another two weeks and it was only a small bit of darker/brown diluted blood. Got some cramping now and feeling a bit nauseous. I was feeling a bit nauseous the last couple of afternoons but I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. This is my first cycle of ttc, I'm guessing this is a good sign? Earliest I can test is in one weeks time!

I’ve just got my first flashing face on my opk yay 😄 it seems to be linking with flo app correctly so far, so will see when I get the steady face for the peak time.

Thanks @lma27 - feels too early to have signs only 7DPO but these are definitely not signs I've had before in PMS and have never spotted before so I don't know. I definitely feel different though, and the spotting is way too early for my period/is completely different as well. Anxiously waiting to test next week now! How are you feeling with everything?

Morning guys, sorry if this is tmi but this morning I had a dark clot of blood down there, no other bleeding.
I usually have 28 day cycles and around 3 days of AF, last month it was 23 days cycle and I bled for 7 days but only really spotting and had to use a tampon once.
I don't know whether today was ovulation bleeding? I've used OPKs all week and having been ovulating so really strange?
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I'm having a very odd AF. Was heavy Thursday and yesterday morning then practically nothing from yesterday afternoon and nothing this morning. Not like my flow at all. I'm putting it down to my body still adjusting from the miscarriage last month but it makes me uneasy when things are different when I'm worked so hard to get them to a regular state 😣

@LMA27 my head is fine as I spent my Friday evening glossing the staircase instead of drinking wine 😂 hardcore life here! Hooray for flashing smileys! I hope you can manage to have some fun in this heat haha

@msunflower that sounds positive! Sounds about the right time for Implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed

@CAG14 day 11, I've been really light headed this week so maybe I'm ovulating and the OPKs I brought are a bit rubbish!!

@Jadeb1995 that is bizarre but I'm sure nothing to worry about. Have you ever had ovulation bleeding before? Have you tested? Sounds silly but maybe your last period was implantation bleeding?

@CAG14 yes I tested around when I started bleeding and they were negative.
I thought it was a possibility too and if those tests hadn't have been negative I would be convinced that I was pregnant!
No never had ovulation bleeding

@CAG14 do you think I should test again? Using a clear blue one? I only used cheapies last time

@Jadeb1995 no harm in testing again just to see.

@Jadeb1995 I would say try another test and see?
I think sometimes our bodies just play tricks on us for fun, like it’s not stressful enough!

@Stabal ohh glossing the staircase you have much more patience than me. I have a short attention span, but worth it all in the end when it looks all pretty!

@LMA27 when we moved in the hall, stairs and landing were papered in woodchip wallpaper and painted over in lilac and whoever decided to paint the walls lilac decided the ceiling should also be the same lilac.. Laziness I assume! So last September we spent weeks stripping the paper and then my dad passed away in October which halted any further work. January we tried painting a wall but decided it was going to take far too much time to sand the walls down, undercoat and then paint so at the start of lockdown my partner lined the downstairs walls but it turns out one our cats did not like it and ripped it to shreds 😂 so that got stripped too and now we're back to painting.. I never want to sand another wall again in my life! It's been hard work but hopefully worth it. We're nearly there!

Morning guys, hope everyone's ok. After that strange bleed yesterday I spent the whole night awake as I've not got a UTI :(
Still no positive ovulation test so I took a pregnancy test that I had in the drawer.
It came up negative straight away & I was convinced I wasn't so just threw it in the bin, about an hour later I've just looked at it again.
Not sure if this is a BFP or evap line?

@Jadeb1995 I'm not sure an evap would be that strong.. Get another test! 🤞

@Jadeb1995 that is a positive and not an evap!! Definitely get another test.

@Jadeb1995 that looks like a bfp to me. But if you’re unsure then yes get a new test. But that definitely a nice dark pink line!

@jadeb1995 I told you!!! I just knew it when you said you had felt a bit weird and had the random clot of blood (which is apparently quite normal in early pregnancy) your period must have been implantation bleeding? Massive congratulations xx

Hey everyone,

OH and I are planning to start ttc hopefully next month, we're both in the Navy and getting us both home together for any period of time is difficult at best, but we should have at least 3 months together from July. fingers crossed

How long has everyone been trying? Any advice, I'm currently using clearblue ovulation sticks to try and gauge high/peak for this month to see if it correlates with health app on iphone estimated dates.

I've been following these blogs for ages but never post, but as it gets closer to him getting home, really want to maximise our chances, as he's due away for a few months at the end of the year into early next.

@sailormoo92 hi! 2 years in February past, found out I was pregnant in April but ended in missed miscarriage so back to square one again. 🤞 for you in these next few months!

@Stabal your stairs will be finished soon enough, although I would be really annoyed at the cats!! Haha

Hi @sailormoo92 welcome to the page. Really exciting for you. I’m in cycle 3 of trying, the first cycle I didn’t really follow anything at all, cycle 2 I followed the FLO app but this month I ordered clear blue opk and I’ve had 2 flashing smileys, one yesterday and today so just waiting to see when I get the peak one 🤞🏼
My family are military so I’m familiar with that type of life but luckily you get 3 months together to get trying!
I take pregnecare supplements and bought my partner some too, I don’t know if they actually increase chances but I’ve heard it’s really good to take things like that, will you be taking any? Xx
