Hey

This is my 9th month TTC my first baby and I'm 33. I got static smiley on Friday on OPK, and now I'm in my TWW - again! I'm currently on furlough so the wait seems even longer and more painful and I definitely end up going a bit crazy 🤪

Anyone else in similar boat and need keeping sane?! Also any TTC tips you've heard of? I will literally try anything at the moment haha.

@Stabal so sorry you're having a rough time. I didn't realise you had endometriosis too. Have you had a laparoscopy to have it diagnosed? Do you suffer with much pain?

Pippy20 · 11/07/2020 08:39

So I felt weird yesterday, AF symptoms gone and rhr still fairly high And feeling hot and dizzy so I bought some tests on my way home last night not truly believing it but I’m such a sucker and couldn’t wait til Sunday/mom for AF to show/not show. I took them this morning, and got a BFP on both! I’m so flippin’ happy and so terrified all at once it’s such an odd feeling. The only thing we did differently this cycle was follow SMEP and then eating fresh pineapple For 6/7 days after ovulation so I don’t know whether one of them was responsible or if it really was just pot luck. I just can’t believe it - I really couldn’t imagine this happening again, and spookily it’s exactly 5 months to the day of my miscarriage x

LMA27 · 11/07/2020 08:57

@Stabal I would definitely speak to the dr and don’t ever feel silly talking to them, how are you this morning?

LMA27 · 11/07/2020 08:58

@Pippy20 oh wow!! Congratulations I’m so hoot for you! SMEP and pineapple for the win!!

butterfly5291 · 11/07/2020 09:38

@Pippy20 amazing!!! Congratulations! No drinking wine in the garden for you this weekend now!!!

LT103 · 11/07/2020 09:42

@Pippy20 wow congratulations!!!!! Lovely news (and I’m ordering some pineapple this month haha)

CAG14 · 11/07/2020 10:53

@Pippy20 omg yess, congratulations! 🥰

Griff2020 · 11/07/2020 11:10

@Stabal thanks for the advice. I hope everything works out for you!! It's so hard seeing everyone you know have no problems but I suppose these show were not alone

Stabal · 11/07/2020 11:15

@LMA27 I'm okay this morning, no bleeding 🤷🏻‍♀️ very weird, never experienced this before! How are you doing today?

@butterfly5291 I've not had a laproscopy to diagnose but TMI my pain is mostly bowel related when AF is here, they were able to feel it during a physical examination on the back passage! Because I was overweight they refused surgery to check me out completely. Now lost 4 stone so they will consider it. I'm in agony with it during my period, I won't lie. My bowel cramps, my thighs and top of my arms have pain, my lower back and my flow is extremely heavy to the point I have to wear 2 super pads at once (lengthwise) and change every hour. There's been days at work where I've literally been on my hands and knees crawling to the bathroom!

Stabal · 11/07/2020 11:20

@Griff2020 thank you, same with you! 🤞🤞 I originally came to MN whilst pregnant and found some lovely support during my miscarriage with people going through or having gone through the same thing but this thread has been the best in continuous support 💜

butterfly5291 · 11/07/2020 11:31

@Stabal that's awful! It's literally the worst, and takes so long for a diagnosis and treatment isn't suitable if you are TTC. I asked the drs how I'm going to manage now my coil is out and they basically said you'll just have to get on with it and hope you get pregnant quickly! Cheers for that...wasn't hoping that myself!
I'm dreading what my periods are actually going to be like. I had a 2nd laparoscopy 2 years ago to remove the Endo tissue, mine was around my bowel and ovary. So praying it's not come back yet!

butterfly5291 · 11/07/2020 11:46

Is there a faint line here or an I imagining it? Femometer says 0%

CAG14 · 11/07/2020 12:34

@butterfly5291 is this an opk? There is a line there yes but if it is an opk it isn't enough to be positive yet

Thank you ladies 😘 x - now to lie down in a dark room for the next 8 months lol

LMA27 · 11/07/2020 13:22

@Stabal thats good news you’ve got no bleeding today, but I still think it’s worth mentioning to the doctors, just to make sure 💛 I’m ok, I feel really fatigued and just no energy at all, last night I could barely stay awake past 9.30pm, really unlike me. And I’m the same today.

@butterfly5291 it all sounds so painful :(

Stabal · 11/07/2020 13:38

@butterfly5291 they tried to fob me off with the coil to treat the endo saying there was nothing else they could do for me but I think I mentioned before on here I had it in twice and each time I had to have it removed, first time in 2 weeks at my GPs and the second less than a week after being taken to hospital. I was in so much pain, vomiting and passing out. The gynaecologist I seen there said they should never have given me it without checking where else the endo was as it was likely the coil was embedded on cells. Urgh! Really hope it's smooth sailing for you! As for the opk the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control so although there's a line, it's not dark enough to be positive yet. Looks like it could be progressing that way though 🤞

CAG14 · 11/07/2020 13:39

@LMA27 how many DPO are you? Hopefully this is a sign!

@Stabal @butterfly5291 I really feel for you with such painful AF and your endo. My sister didn't get her endo diagnosed for 4 years. They kept telling her it was IBS and just to cut out certain foods. By the time she ended up getting diagnosed and getting her laparoscopy her scarring was so bad they said it was one of the worst they have seen! She got pregnant 3 months after her op though which is great.

Stabal · 11/07/2020 13:42

@LMA27 How long until AF is due? Will you test before or just wait it out?

Stabal · 11/07/2020 13:44

@CAG14 I've come across some ignorant doctors and it still shocks me that some don't listen to us when we know something isn't right. That's awful you sister had to fight like that but so happy she got a happy ending!

LMA27 · 11/07/2020 14:03

@CAG14 I’m 8dpo, but I think it’s genuinely down to my body just being a lazy bum than anything else I’m afraid...
@Stabal AF is due in about 6 days, I usually wait until the day of or after AF to test but I’ve only had to test once as the other times AF turned up 👎🏼

mumSW5 · 11/07/2020 17:36

Bleeding very pink blood for the third day in a row during what's supposed to be my fertility week... Had CB blinking faces for 4 days now... I'm starting to get worried

Stabal · 11/07/2020 20:11

@mumSW5 have you ever had ovulation bleeding before?

Stabal · 11/07/2020 20:15

My bleeding has returned and now a proper flow and I need a pad but (again sorry if TMI) with lots of EWCM mixed in? 😕

stepmumSW5 · 11/07/2020 20:32

@Stabal I had mid cycle bleeding before but have never tracked ovulation properly before so I always thought it was just due to having the IUD
