TTC baby no1. Looking for fellow crazy TTC friends!

This is my 9th month TTC my first baby and I'm 33. I got static smiley on Friday on OPK, and now I'm in my TWW - again! I'm currently on furlough so the wait seems even longer and more painful and I definitely end up going a bit crazy 🤪

Anyone else in similar boat and need keeping sane?! Also any TTC tips you've heard of? I will literally try anything at the moment haha.

@stepmumSW5 I would say that's probably what it is then! It's usually a light pink and can last a few days. Obviously if it lasts any longer than a week I'd contact your GP to see if it could be a hormonal issue with the IUD but since you're having a flashing smiley I'd be inclined to think it's ovulation 😊

@stepmumSW5 keep us updated! We're all invested in each others stories now lol. I spotted on the 6th, last night and now a full flow tonight and I'm due to ovulate from tomorrow but I don't think it's ovulation bleeding so God knows what's happening with me. You can't help but panic though!

@Stabal will do! The only thing is finding the will to do baby dance with all this blood. I will try though as we haven't done it the past 2 days and I don't want to waste time when I'm getting flashing smileys. Let's try not to panic but I know it's easier said than done.

@stepmumSW5 I feel exactly the same. AF is usually really heavy for me so I've never ever DTD whilst on so the thought of doing it with a light flow is freaking me out but I keep thinking, you can't miss your peak, be brave! 😂

I spotted on ovulation day thy is cycle, then again 3 dpo and then every day from 8 dpo up until af arrived. It is such an inconvenience to bleed for pretty much half your cycle! Being a girl really Isn’t fun at times!!

@LT103 I feel you! Been bleeding for 3 days whilst AF not due yet... Can't stand it anymore

I would like a month with no spotting nag so I can at least think I’m in with a chance. It’s a bit like a warning af is coming a week beforehand. 🙄. Going for progesterone check this cycle to make sure it’s not that. Hoping it’s not but then if it’s not, I prob just have to live with it!

@Stabal @LT103 @stepmumSW5 oh girls that’s so rubbish, trying to DTD with that going on doesn’t help does it, but, like you said don’t miss the chance 💕 when I was on the pill I used to spot quite often but the dr said it was ok as long as it was small but since being off the pill I don’t think I’ve spotted once. Are you girls going contact your dr just to check? Don’t panic about it 💛

@LMA27 I am still bleeding. If this continues until tomorrow I will call the doctor. It can't be normal to bleed for more than 4 days mid cycle. Good news is we actually DTD last night with no mess as the bleeding was magically less after laying down for a while. Sorry for the TMI

@stepmumSW5 it sounds like ovulation spotting, but that doesn’t make it any better does it haha. But yay for no mess 😂

I’m still drained today. I had to nap yesterday which I don’t usually do unless I’m poorly. And weirdly I had a nightmare last night which was a bit unsettling so I think I must be coming down with something. Typical 🙄 just counting down till AF arrives now so I can try again in cycle 4... AF is due on Friday

Today my hay fever is killing me, already woke up with my nose totally blocked, but I still want to go out in the afternoon for a bike ride with the hubby as it looks like the weather will be nice in London. Any plans for today?

Bleeding almost gone so I'm really hoping it's ovulation bleeding. I'm still getting flashing smileys and hoping for a static smiley

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Bleeding is still here with me, feeling extremely hot to the point of sweating today, stabby pain and generally feeling like shit. Doctors will be rung in the morning I think

Evening all. Hope you all had a good weekend. I spent the night at my brother in laws and am feeling pretty rough today as he knows how to keep topping up your drink!!! I'm only 2DPO but I know as of tomorrow it will be start of crazy time 🤪 and symptom spotting will begin. I have to tell myself that it really is not possible to feel symptoms until after implantation which the earliest would be next Thursday!

@stabal oh no I am sorry to hear that. Definitely ring the drs as it sounds like you might have an infection. Keep us updated

because I broke my rule and googled symptoms previous I thought I’d do it again today 🙈 I’ve been feeling extremely tired & had a headache yesterday, I felt super bloated the last day or 2 & I felt weird AF like cramping and all from about 8dpo. obviously google tells me these are common symptoms of implantation 🙄 I didn’t even know you could get symptoms during that time unless it’s implantation bleeding. But now I’ve really confused myself and starting to get my hopes up but I’m scared I’ll be disappointed. am I going mad?
