Pregnancy after MMC

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I had a MMC on our second pregnancy last month. (I have a 1 year old)
I should of been 9 weeks at my Scan but baby was only 8 weeks 4 so it had just happened. 3 days later I had a private D&C as I didn’t want to risk the hospital/ the trauma of dealing with it at home with my little boy.
I had bleeding on and off for 2 weeks after (6th of April was the D&C) I had regular bloody tests, my last one my HCG had come down to 70 so 3 days later I got my first negative test.
I had an internal to confirm no retained pregnancy and was given the all clear to try again straight away. I’ve had cystitis this weekend to add to my problems and now I’m getting this on my tests. Had anyone experienced anything similar, what are your thoughts? Feel like my body’s just giving up on me haha! I’d love to be pregnant again but I’d just be surprised if it could all happen within such a small time scale
Thanks everyone

Hello ladies @msanne @Bells993 @Leaf87 @Frankincense88

Hope you're all ok in these crazy covid times! My beautiful little girl was born last Saturday weighing a whopping 9lb 2oz! One week old today! She's perfect and worth every second of the tears, pain, worry and stress it took to get her here! It was a really tough 12 months and I didn't relax for one second of the pregnancy! I breathed an actual sigh of relief when I finally got to hold her!

Thank you all so much for just being there at a time when I really was so anxious and upset. Wishing you all lots of love xxx

Hey @MrsTtobe, @Leaf87, @Bells993, @Frankincense88,

How are you ladies!! Each one of you has always been on my mind....but hasn't time flown by quick?! Spring here we come and so chuffed to learn of all the puppy, house and new baby news! Congratulations!! And here's to more happy news as the year progresses!!
As for me ladies, I can now happily report that our little Extra man arrived on 6am on the dot on Thursday (25.02) exactly a month before we lost his sister last year, all unassisted at home in the birthing pool. His older siblings got to watch him being born that this was pretty priceless. Amazingly I didn't tear and everyone thought I had a textbook birth....that is until about 2 hours after birth, when I started to loose tons of blood and had to be bluelighted to hospital. I collapsed and lost 1/3 rd of my blood supply. Apparently, it only happens in 4% of births, but I am used to being in the small statistics land! Luckily, I had pre expressed at home so baby had some milk and we were reunited about 6 hours later. We spent the night in hospital and came home Friday night. Since then I've been breastfeeding him but my nipples are so on fire 🔥! I really hope that then pain goes away soon.
All in all ladies, the last 12 months as per @Mrstotobe said, has been fraught with anxiety and anticipation. I'm happy we have our little rainbow finally and now I can focus on our 3 little birds. The journey has been hard but worth it and I cannot thank you all enough for your love and reassurance on this group. I hope we can all keep in touch :)

Sending lots of love to you all xoxo

@msanne that is such brilliant news about baby's safe arrival 💙 I hope you're healing ok and everything is going well.

We've decided this month we're going to start trying again (casually she says - ha) although I've already caved and bought a digital ovulation thingy. Have also got an appt with the consultant in a couple of weeks because I've basically demanded progesterone for any future attempts and want a care plan in place to support us through the next step.

Sending lots of love to everyone 💛

@Frankincense88 - i am so pleased for you - please keep us posted and I hope that this time everything will be perfect!
Your puppy also looks so sweet - i wish I had the energy for a pet at the moment, feel like I am running on fumes. New baby is an angel but readjusting to life with a newborn is tiring. Thank god school has started again!

Sending you all lots of love.

Xoxoxo
