Hello Ladies.

I’m mid 30s ttc my first. I was on the depo before, I know that causes issues to fertility and it will take longer. It was three months before my periods came back but I’ve been regular as clockwork since. Fairly certain I’m ovulating (lot of signs pointing to it) but still no baby. Im due again in the next couple of days and I can tell I’m going to come on.

I tried with my ex a few years ago for 7/8 months (although it was a very half hearted and not really a surprise it didn’t happen.) I wanted a baby for different reasons back then and got very upset every month. I was determined not to get as upset and try be more relaxed with my new partner but I’m starting to find it hard.

How do you cope with the disappointment of another failed cycle?

Hi Ladies, Can I join? I'm 34....not long until I turn 35 and like many of you have been TTC for almost a year now, onto cycle 11 this month.

I've read through the thread and love the positivity, it's so hard to think positively when AF shows isn't it. I'm super positive the week or two after AF, become a crazy symptom spotter for the last week and then a crying mess when AF appears lol! DH is very relaxed about it and annoyingly just says 'it'll happen'.

We haven't had any tests yet as were planning to do in April/May and the virus turned up! so new plan it to arrange test if we are still sans-foetus in September.

Fingers crossed for you all and BFPs, it would be lovely to bring some positivity in this hard times and something lovely to look forward to!

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you :). I've been on a few groups before but everyone gets pregnant by the end of the month and I give up and leave lol.

I'm due end of the month, CD 13 and cycles 26-28 days. I'm a terrible early tester and think it makes me worse so my plan is not to test this month unless I get to 30 days.

@MrsMeow2019 I fear this is going to be me as this is my first time on here but month 8 of trying! Sounds sensible to test after AF is due. I'm due on, on Sunday but have already caved and tested early at 12dpo and got bfn. I thought I was out but then wiped brown cm yesterday so then thought ooh implantation? So will see what Sunday brings...never been pregnant before so every month is a rollercoaster of emotions!

Welcome @MrsMeow2019 our DH'S sound similar in how super chilled they are. Our plan too was to see the doctor by September if no success - best friends destination wedding is meant to be then so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Today acid reflux feeling has subsided and become more of an upset tummy. Still convinced not happened.

Am I the only one who doesn't take a test as convinced it won't be a BFP?

@XPeach123 same 🙋🏻‍♀️ In some ways I'm convinced I'll never get successfully pregnant. I'm 7 cycles in now.

Hi have you downloaded an app to track your periods accurately? “Flo” is a good app.

@bumblebee7 I second 'Flo' as a good app. I've used it since coming off the pill in May 2019 and its been pretty accurate since October. It predicted I was due on Monday just gone but has light bleeding (if you could even consider it that) 2 days earlier and AF was gone by the Monday.

Really good app. Definitely works.

Morning ladies hope you are all well?

I’m currently 10-11 dpo of a 30-31 cycle so still around a week to go and I was woke up at 4am with cramps which also caused a pain inside my left thigh and hip. Once it passed I felt hot and sick. Since then I’ve woke up and still got mild cramping and a little bit of lower back pain if I lie on my back.

I’m hoping it’s too early for period pain. 🤞 I also had a vision of my dad in our favourite holiday resort carrying a young baby. I think my mind is playing tricks on my lol

@Lindsey02 ooh sounds like a good sign! Implantation could be happening. I'm most likely out this month. Negative on a FRER this morning at 14dpo so just waiting for AF tomorrow now.

Well what I thought was my full AF hasn't quite turned up yet. I had some light spotting, one wipe of red blood and now just light spotting brown again after I go to the toilet. I know I'm not pg though as I did another test (just to torture myself) and it's stark white. I'm wondering if it's been a chemical 😔. I just want proper AF to appear now. I'm not sure if I should count the spotting as day 1 or wait until the first day of full flow.

@PinkFlamingoGirl I got a stark white test this morning too. So shit right! So are you late for AF now? By how long?

I’m still lying in bed too scared to get up and see if AF has arrived 😥

@Nat4392 haha I do things like that too! It's like looking into the future for tomorrow lol! Let us know how you get on though.

@notyetamumbuttrying my AF is due today or tomorrow. I had a faint line on a frer on Wed (10dpo) so I was excited as I've never even seen a hint of a line since starting TTC but I knew it was early days.

Had AF like cramps on Wed evening, then Thurs is when I had the red blood just once when wiping (thought AF) and since then no more red blood just brown spotting on and off. I've had stark white tests since. I've tested twice more. Once on Thurs(frer) and once on Fri (internet cheapie) so I know I'm out. I think it was failed implantation 😔.

It's so sad that even though I know I'm not pg that there is still this 1% of me that's like...oh but what if...I know in my heart I'm not but I still can't shake that one 1%. That's so sad and desperate isn't it. That's why I just want fill AF to come now.

Well I’ve got up and there’s nothing yet, not going to test though unless she doesn’t arrive tomorrow either.

My clearblue ovulation tests arrived yesterday so I’m going to give those a go this month. I do worry that I’m not ovulating yet post depo.

Another vote for the Flo app, so far it’s been really accurate for af and when I think I’m ovulating ties in with what it says.

@PinkFlamingoGirl I’m sorry that it sounds like af is almost here. I was a week late and had some new feelings this month but then it didn’t happen. It’s really hard not knowing exactly what going on in your own body and if it’s just a different month or if it tried to happen but didn’t. Are you ok?

Aww @PinkFlamingoGirl it is not sad and desperate at all! It's what we all want and so badly so how you feel is totally understandable!! Do you think it'll stop you from early testing now? The earliest I'm ever gonna test again is the day before AF now.

It really is so frustrating isn’t it!! Every little symptom you over think. My nipples are a bit sore from time to time but I’ve noticed I’ve got bright blue veins running across them which could be why they are hurting.

Which are the best early tests to use?
Part of me wants to know the other doesn’t want the hope to be gone 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Lindsey02 it's such a weird feeling isn't it! But if you're gonna test early I say go with the best which IMO are the first response early response (FRER) ones. You can get them on amazon.
