Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

It’s my second cycle TTC - had myself convinced last month but AF arrived bang on time! Currently day 3 of my cycle so going to use OPK and pre seed this month and see how we get on.

I work in a fertility centre so convinced at the moment it’ll never happen - guess that’s normal when I’m surrounded by IVF! Anyway it’ll be nice to have others to chat to who are going through the same thing :)

Hi guysssss. I'm unsure so need some help from my fellow ttc buddies. Would you say this line is positive?? I've included the one from this morning to compare. I don't know what is positive as it's my first time using OPK. If any ladies can help out please. Just don't wanna miss my window if I am ovulating xxx

Oh I forgot to include I'm only CD 11 I have a 30 day cycle xxx

Hi @SarahMS I'd say that's still negative.

Both lines have to be as dark as each other or the test line darker than the control line. Testing twice a day is definitely the way forward though!

@FirsttimeTTC they usually say the first bleed is always a withdrawal bleed. A proper period can only happen when you have had some form of cycle. You could maybe start OPKs or something after this bleed to see what happens?

Static smiley today woooo!!! I had a flashing all day Saturday and Sunday and this morning this. I don't know why I am so excited. I don't have time to BD this morning - so you think I'll be okay tonight or will I have missed it?

I’m not sure what to think here. Cd13 today and LH still shows as low, but had quite a lot of EWCM yesterday which I haven’t seen before at all. I thought EWCM appears during ovulation? But my opks from CD 8 have all been low. Can someone help? My cycles are 28-29 days and last cycle I had peak cd15/16 x but by cd13 my LH was already high x

So ladies my temp has gone up today so I'm guessing I ovulated yesterday or Saturday since I had my peak on Friday. We dtd wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat so I'm just hoping it's enough! I had a dip in temperature yesterday so I'm guessing my chart will pin ovulation to then but after quite a few cocktails Saturday night I think that might have caused the dip and ovulation was actually Saturday judging from the pains I felt.

Officially in the tww again looking forward to testing already!!!

@Katie1109 I had my EWCM a few days before my peak so I'm guessing it's close for you!! Don't forget you are still fertile in the days leading up to ovulation too xxx

@Mango31 That sounds very positive to me! You’ve definitely covered that fertile window, got everything crossed for you!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Katie1109 I agree it does look ‘negative’ BUT - in my opinion they’re definitely starting to darken, keep DTD so you don’t miss the window but I’d say in the next couple of days you’ll get a dark and very obvious positive. Definitely agree at this point testing twice a day is the way to go!

Hey girls. Sorry had such a busy weekend! Started my clear blue yesterday and got a blank circle then today have flashing smiley, a little quicker than last month, hoping I actually get a solid smiley this cycle 🥰

@Beau2019 did you test morning and later when you got a flashing? I have my cheapy ones too which I can use.

Nothing much to report haven’t dtd for a couple of days and I’m out for a meal tonight with friends so 🤷‍♀️ But I’m not at my peak yet so shouldn’t see it being an issue!

@Ellsbells112 you’re similar time to me in cycle, how’s it going?

Is anyone doing their bbt? I literally have no clue of what a chart is meant to be like! Xx

@Sunflower2019 I'm doing bbt but it's my first month of it so I'm in the same boat. From googling charts I have a vague idea of what to expect xxx

@Mango31 yes I have no clue, only on cd9 today so not much of a chart really but mines so up and down already.. so temps go high when ovulate or low? As I know it should dip if implantation occurs!

I am good cd8 for me no feeling of ovulation yet and I haven't done a ovulation test I think I will tomorrow or start from cd10. Dtd late last night woohoo haha test run 😂. When it comes to bbt I was charting then my thermometer ran out of battery and I just thought forget it haha so sorry I can't help with that

I'm a mam of 2 they're 9 and nearly 7, we are TTC #3.

Had my coil taken out last week on the 20th. First day of period was the 18th. One before that was 4th October so I'm unsure what my cycle length is at the moment! 😬

We had a unplanned miscarriage in 2015 whilst I was on the pill. We also had a chemical pregnancy (they think) last week whilst using the copper coil. As explained above I hadnt had a period for just over 6 weeks, tested positive with a tesco test, negative with clear blue digital and negative at the gp with urine sample and bloods came back negative so unsure what happened there!

Anyway, I got my hopes up and left the gp in tears, we decided that we would like to now try for number 3 so I had the coil removed. Again unsure of my cycle but would really love to be testing with you all in December!

Hey everyone, could I join please. I'm on cycle #6 ttc #2, I have a 19month old little boy. I've tried the clear blue digital ovulation tests this month. Had flashing smileys from cd8 (19th nov) and every day until yesterday when I got a static smiley. We dtd tues wed thurs and sat but didnt get a chance yesterday (so gutted!) and wont be able to until late tonight now as dh working late (he will probably come home and say hes too tired so doubt it will even be tonight at this rate 😔) so I'm guessing this month wont work but I was just so pleased to get the static smiley yesterday. Af is due around 5th - 8th dec. My cycles seem to range between 24 - 27 days. Last month was 24 so guessing it will be due around 5th dec. Already just want this month to be over so we can get started on next month and hopefully time it right and be able to dtd at the right time. Best of luck to everyone x

@Katie1109 I started with EWCM Saturday which is when my flashing smiley started and still got it today and got my solid!

@SarahMS my first month of using them and honestly love it! They keep me positive!

@Sunflower2019 I've been testing with FMU every day until I got flashing smiley. Then I started testing in afternoon as well, so twice. I got flashing smiley both AM and PM sat and sun and then static this morning.

Afternoon ladies. We're TTC number 2 and are about 6 months in now so it's starting to get us both down. I've been ovulating late in the cycle but using CB digital so that helps. Last month I was flashing from CD10-18 then got my peak in the afternoon of CD18. This month I'm CD13 today and started flashing, ideally I want to get a peak on the 27th/28th but won't be surprised if it doesn't come until the 30th. AF due on the 11th Dec.

@Fredthespider how long is your luteal phase? Do you usually get 14 days from peak ovulation to AF?

@Beau2019 thanks for your reply x I had EWCM yesterday but today I haven’t seen any x opks still showing as low which worries me because it was quite high on CD13 last cycle :( and then peaked at Cd15 x
