Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

TTC #1 (2nd pregnancy)
Cycle #2
AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

💕

@Fredthespider nooo!! When did the bleeding start? I would go with CD1 being the day it started?

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 07:55

@Beau2019 thanks hun x I think I see something but I’ve got vivid imagination 😂 I’m using ICs only to feed my POAS Addiction 😂 sorry you feeling af cramps hun, but don’t give up hope just yet x we are all here to support each other, and I am pretty sure I’m going to need that support next Wednesday when af arrives form me 😘

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 08:15

@Fredthespider oh no, so sorry hun x what cycle day are you? Is this a bit early for you or as expected? I don’t think IB is meant to have clots in it, but that’s as far as my IB knowledge goes x just hold on there, give it some time and see what happens x

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 08:20

@Fredthespider Sorry you're out :( I would count the first day you bled as CD1. I had a light period 7 days early last cycle (was sure it was implantation but no) and I counted that as CD1. I also used opks from CD8 just incase I ovulated early compared to what the apps were telling me (which I did). Everything crossed for next cycle

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 08:37

Had some light cramping this morning, kind of like a pulling feeling, way too early to be AF normally for me (but what is ‘normal’ anyway?!) so not feeling too positive at the moment. 😬

@Katie1109 I’m really not too sure from those pics but like some others have said, maybe on the 2nd pic? Try and wait a couple of days before testing again if you can!! Have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻✨

@Fredthespider Oh balls 🙁 sorry to read that. CD1 is counted from the first day you start having a proper bleed from my knowledge. Hope you’re OK? ❤️

Sunflower2019 · 05/12/2019 08:57

Hey girlies, everyone is seeming deflated today, this always happens at the end of the tww! All of these symptoms we get at the beginning of pregnancy seem so much like af so keep positive and lack of symptoms if common too!

@Fredthespider sorry to hear af came! Hope it’s over quickly so you can start again!

@Katie1109 I can’t see a line but it’s still early days and you have had a lot of symptoms so it’s promising if it’s all out of the norm!

I’m 5dpo.. temp went up this morning and boobs felt sore but I’m pretty sure this is normal in my cycle, was bored and done an opk today, trying to stop myself from wanting to test early over the next few days and there’s still a second line.. which seems darker than normal for my usual 5dpo.. but then again could be looking too far into it 😂

Has anyone else used an opk past ovulation?

Just sitting in bed eating my cinnamon porridge, looking for something to watch before I get up and do all my chores 😂

@Quiffy I had a restless sleep too, felt shattered this morning but couldn’t get back to sleep!
X

Sunflower2019 · 05/12/2019 08:57

@Mumofboys17 sounds promising a pulling feeling have you checked back to previous months to see if that’s normal? Xx

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 09:20

@Sunflower2019 I’ll be honest, I can’t remember! 😬😂 I’m going to keep more track of things like this for this cycle I think. Just feels a bit tight but comes and goes intermittently. Really don’t want to get my hopes up!! X

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 09:36

Feeling a bit of discomfort on my back around my left kidney, it’s not pinching or twinges it’s constant, that’s a new one for me. Boobs are killing me atm, but Unfortunately it looks like my cm is drying up, so I’m most likely out anyway 😭

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 10:00

@Katie1109 not out until AF shows up!! I’ve had zero cm since last weekend haha so on that view point I’m deffo out 😂😂
We’ve all turned into a right bunch of negative nancies!! X

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 10:07

@Mumofboys17 thanks love x I am just so scared of disappointment but at the same time looking for pregnancy announcement presents for my family 🙈 but I look through this cute stuff with tears in my eyes x
Work colleague just asked me if I’m ok because my cheeks are pink but I’m freezing cold 😫I definitely feel like there’s something not right but at the same time trying to not get my hopes up just so it can come crashing down when af arrives 😭 I feel really down and awful today x

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 10:21

Girls - I'm out. AF in full flow. Loads of CM last night and this morning. Just when to check my cervix and must have poked it because it caused an instant gush of blood. That was only a 24 day cycle for me waayyy too short and getting shorter. My follicular phhase is bang on (14 days) but my luteal phase is wayy too short, only 9 days. Think I'm going to book a doctors appointment.

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 10:30

@Beau2019 oh noooo! So sorry x are you 100% sure it’s af? I experienced quite heavy IB but sadly miscarried 2 weeks later. I don’t know what to say, just please stay positive x book docs appointment if you feel something isn’t right, hopefully they can help and you’ll get your BFP before you know it x sending lots of hugs your way x💐

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 10:34

@Beau2019 oh no 😥 that is a VERY short luteal phase.. definitely book a dr’s appt. This may be an unpopular opinion, I’m not sure how long you’ve been TTC for and what your docs is like, but definitely tell the GP it’s been around a year, else they may send you away and say wait until the 12mth mark.
Sending you lots of hugs today 🙁❤️ Xxx

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 10:34

@Katie1109 100% It was like pouring out of me (sorry TMI). I am actually gutted, not because of AF as such but because my cycles are so so short. I was only pregnant 3 years ago and I had 28-29 day cycles. I don't know what has changed but I've just goggled short luteal phases and it's classed as 'infertility' what the heck. The last 4 months have been the same for me. What worse is that I know I won't be able to get a GP appointment any time soon and I know they will snub me as I've only been trying 4 months.

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 10:37

@Beau2019 I am with @Mumofboys17 on this one. Tell your GP you’ve been trying for 12-13 months otherwise they won’t take you seriously x sorry you’re going through this x

Plaw · 05/12/2019 10:46

Aw @Beau2019 sorry to hear, I would definitely check it out with the gp I would tell a porky about trying longer, there is no harm in doing that. You understand your body and you are tracking your cycle so you know the LP is shorter than usual for you so you deserve to investigate and get it sorted. Might be something small, please don’t fall down the google rabbit hole of thinking the worst. I know that really easy to say.♥️

I’m 8 dpo and although it’s our 2nd cycle trying, I’m really trying my best not to think it’s gonna happen this month. Self preservation, I don’t want to be upset on top of Christmas, although it can be a good distraction too.
In saying that I sneezed there and got unreal stabbing pain for a few seconds in my lower right of my tummy. Straight away I’m thinking oh that could be something! 🙄

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 10:51

Thanks girls, really appreciate it. The only problem being the doctors will be able to see I had my implant out 4 months ago wont they? It will be on my medical records :( so they know I am lying.

Although I'm 99% sure I had a chemical not last cycle the cycle before, clear positive pregnancy test (faint but deffo clear) and then BFN 3 days later, period the day after that.

Good luck to the rest of you!!!

@Beau2019,
Honestly I’m going to tell you about my cycles I’ve been off the pill since July and no joke I’ve had shorter cycle is the new with the shorter luteal phase, I was looking it up to panicking and now finally at around six months of trying it started to even out I think it’s pretty normal in the first few months that your cycles are all over the place.

I went and had some testing done at the doctors as I was worried that might be my fertility wasn’t very good and that all came back Honestly I’m going to tell you about my cycles I’ve been off the pill since July and no joke I’ve had shorter cycles than you with a shorter luteal phase, I was looking it up to panicking and now finally at around six months of trying it started to even out I think it’s pretty normal in the first few months that your cycles are all over the place.

You can take supplements that can increase your luteal phase but I would just wait it out it will take at least six months to a year for your cycles to be 100% back to normal, I know some peoples go back straight away but that’s not always the norm.

Also stress et cetera can play a big part in stuff like that.

Now you can get a nice bottle of wine all those cheeses and enjoy all the Christmas parties and start the new year fresh ♥️♥️♥️

Sunflower2019 · 05/12/2019 11:04

Sorry that’s a bit jumbled, it was meant to say my fertility results came back fine and that I had shorter luteal phase and you at times x

Sunflower2019 · 05/12/2019 11:04

Not sure what happened with my phone then x

SarahMS · 05/12/2019 11:07

@Beau2019 so sorry that AF showed for you :((

Tbh I haven't got a single symptom yet and I'm 6dpo not even sore boobs or anything. I feel like I normally so I think I'm out for the month too. Surely I should be getting some type of symptom by now?

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 11:24

@Sunflower2019 thanks lovely

Lori86 · 05/12/2019 11:25

Sorry af showed up for you girls, I've my fingers & toes crossed for next cycle for yous x

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 11:27

@Beau2019 so sorry about AF, that is really gutting. A doctor's trip might be worth it depending on what your GP is like. They will probably see the implant date like you said, but might be able to give you some other pointers? Maybe take a few days off from it all and come back ready to go for your next cycle?

@SarahMS I think that would be pretty normal, if the egg hasnt implanted you wont be getting the hcg hormone around causing symptoms. Think it's quite normal to not feel anything until after a missed period so dont count yourself out yet.

Feeling rank rotten myself. Not only am I negative Nancy today (defo tired) I keep getting electric shock feelings in my left side, which I feel is setting me up for major disappointment. Same with feeling a bit nauseated, achey and gadzy taste in my mouth. It's really hard to decipher what could be true, what's in my head and what's just normal Af symptoms that I'm not familiar with after using the pill for so long. DH is also feeling ill so could be coming down with something.
