Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

TTC #1 (2nd pregnancy)
Cycle #2
AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

Morning girls

i’m sorry to hear about few of af send you all best luck for next cycle
thank you to @Fredthespider for last night post it was really helpful
i woke up with terrible headache and pain in my back around my kidney but dint think it anything
this wait is actually killer !!! come on next week

Fredthespider · 05/12/2019 12:40

Thanks for your kind words, you're all awesome!

@Katie1109 the spotting started on CD21 and got heavier on 22. I've been a pretty regular 28 day cycle for the past 6 months so I'm not too impressed with my body haha.

@Quiffy that's interesting that you had the same last month, hopefully it's a good omen for both of us the month after :)

@Beau2019 so sorry to hear that AF got you too! I've been having a short LP too but I ovulate late normally, this was the first month that I ovulated around CD 14/15 so I was expecting to have a normal LP this month - instead it's been even shorter!

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 13:02

@Fredthespider you are exactly the same as me. Each month I am sure I ovulated a little early (but wasn't tracking) about CD11-12 but this time was bang on day 14-15 so also thought my LP was returning to normal. Alas no.

This is my shortest cycle ever. 24 days what the heck

@Beau2019 so sorry to hear this, I think you should research agnus castus or as its also known as vitex, it sorts out your hormones and makes your luteal phase longer herbal remedy. I hope you get some answers xx

@Sunflower2019 @katie1109 @quiffy @Mumofboys17 what dpo are we all according to my app I'm 3dpo 🙄😅😂 found exercising really hard today but could be because I haven't gone in a week.

Sunflower2019 · 05/12/2019 13:17

I’m 5dpo and I am shattered today, literally struggling to function! Can’t be a symptom Tho as keep telling myself it wouldn’t of even implanted but I am extremely tired..🤷‍♀️

@Ellsbells112 you are not far behind me! Still doing my temps.. over 98f but apparently they rise after ovulation anyway! None the wiser lol xxx

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 13:19

@Ellsbells112 I’m 8DPO today x back and boobs are killing atm x but no other symptoms x

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 13:22

@Ellsbells112 I think I’m 5dpo but could be a day or so either side of that. Ovia says I can test in 7 days 😬 AF isn’t due until 19th dec so may wait a while longer if I can x

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 13:23

Still little crampy twinges going on. I’m half expecting AF to show up, not sure if I’m over thinking it though as probably wouldn’t notice it normally 🤷🏼‍♀️

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 13:32

@Ellsbells112 8dpo here!

@Fredthespider @Beau2019 Last month worked out as a 20-day cycle which seemed SUPER short. Hoping it returns to normal this month - on CD 22 so longer already at least. I'm sure on another thread someone asked their GP friend about short LP phases and she told them not to stress too much about it as it should be fine.

@mumofboys17 Mine has 4 days... oh the temptation ha!

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 13:47

@Quiffy hahaha the struggle is REAL!!
I’ve got it in my head to watch and wait for implantation spotting/bleeding so if I see that then I may test early, otherwise I’m going to wait til AF is actually due. Can’t afford buying loads of FRER’s the month with Xmas looming!! X

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 13:53

@mumofboys17 I went a little mad on Black Friday so I've got about 10 oops. Plus some cheap earlies and cheap normal ones. Oh and some CB haha. I keep see-sawing between Sunday test and waiting until AF showing or not.

Ellsbells112 · 05/12/2019 14:23

@quiffy @Mumofboys17 I've ordered some first response they're due to come on or before the 9th!! I'm definitely not going to test unless I have proper symptoms. Bfns are so disheartening I'd rather just see af. It's annoying because you know what to lookout for (well obvious signs) and if you don't get them you're like it's not my month! Hate that.

@Sunflower2019 I'm really tired too but yep no implantation yet. I started temping today and it's 97.7. I'm quite looking forward to really knowing when I ovulate but I do think I ovulate on cd15 due to ewcm and the scan I had that showed the egg ripe and ready at cd14 and she told me to go home and get to it lol xx

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 14:27

@ellsbells112 a BFN is so horrific, especially when you have a glimmer of hope. I've seen so many chemical positives online atm too and that seems so heartbreaking as well. So, I have serious POAS stick fear.

Symptomspotter86 · 05/12/2019 14:34

@Beau2019 sorry to hear about af. Sending hugs. The implant will definitely take a while, a lot longer than pill to go back to normal. A lot of women have irregular periods for 6 months after. I did. I think speak to your doctors for peace of mind and hang on in there. Stress also affects menstrual cycles and ttc is the worst stress! Maybe take xmas off not thinking about it and go again in new year. My friend did that after 1 year of trying and ended up preggers as her body relaxed. Xxx

6DPO for me but not any real symptoms other than ones I make up in my head if I sit and think about it for a while. Glad I'm busy this weekend to distract me!

Beau2019 · 05/12/2019 14:42

Thank you @Symptomspotter86 never having the implant again the little buggar!!!

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 14:46

I dont know about anyone else, but I'm seriously considering not using contraceptives like the pill or implant again. Just seem to seriously mess up our bodies. DH can find a sock he likes instead!

Mumofboys17 · 05/12/2019 14:48

@Quiffy a sock!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Nope I’m totally over contraception now. Never ever again 🤚🏻 I’ll just sit and wait for the menopause as I know DH will never get the snip lol

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 14:55

Ladies, this is going to be definitely TMI, but...I am always once a day number 2 kind of girl you know 😂 but this is 2nd day I’ve been for number 2 twice 😂 I read that early pregnancy can cause constipation but mine is the exactly opposite, so I guess that’s another reason to think I’m out 😂

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 14:57

@katie1109 it can also cause you to go more! Not out yet!

@Mumofboys17 that sounds like a plan too! Men really don't like the idea of the snip. Wee lambs ;)

Ellsbells112 · 05/12/2019 15:10

@katie1109 I'm constipated right now when normally I have the opposite but I'm guessing that will happen tomorrow or something.
@quiffy @Beau2019
Contraception is the devil but I had the copper coil so shouldn't have affected me as no hormones :/

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 15:23

The only thing that at the moment keeps my hope up is the backache. I do not get backaches at all, ever, not even before af but it’s constant. Doesn’t matter what I do I constantly feel it and it’s like a dull ache x 🤞🤞

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 17:19

Af like feeling down there is back and so is creamy cm 🤔 so confused now 😭 I don’t want the false hope!

Quiffy · 05/12/2019 17:19

Fingers crossed @katie1109. It's the sore back that's keeping me hopeful. I've also had really sore boobs today, which has got worse over the day. Not really experienced this before expect for a twinge last week before ovulation. So trying not to get my hopes up

Katie1109 · 05/12/2019 18:07

I’m just feeling so down at the moment it’s unreal 😭 glass of wine it is. Deep inside I know it’s not happening...again.

Ellsbells112 · 05/12/2019 19:05

@katie1109 oh hunnie I know it's really shit every month when af comes or you feel like af is coming but honestly maybe it would help if you really try not to think about symptoms. The first few months I literally convinced myself I was pregnant and I cried when my af come seriously I even believed it was implantation😓 anyway I've found that the best way is to not look too deeply into symptoms. Just sort of notice them absentmindedly but don't set your heart on it honestly I think it really helps (even tho it's still crap) I already feel like I'm not I'm only 3dpo but it's hard not to when every month is disappointing xx
