Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

Anyone else considering an all natural approach to contraception at some point in their life? I've really had enough of contraception and plus I'm convinced it's stopped me from having a baby right now 😂

Alert alert groin pains like inside but in my vagina?! In the lower pelvic pine region. Must be a pregnancy symptom 😂😂 a girl can wish! Anyone else about 8-9DPO n feelin out?

@Beau2019 I’m 7DPO and feeling out lol 😂 you’re still in implantation window, so who know, your pains might be implantation related x
Full on sore and full boobs now but that’s normal for me a week before af, I honestly believe I’m out and it’s depressing 😭 my appetite has gone and I just can’t be bothered x

@Beau2019 @katie1109 don't mind me I'm only 2dpo lol but continuous throbbing pain from right ovary 😅 knackered too but I did walk for 80 minutes and ice skate for an hour 😂❄️

Listen after I have a baby I'm not doing contraception ever again!

I never went back to contraception after DS1 simply because being on the pill long term before TTC the first time completely buggered my cycles up and needed intervention to get my periods started again!

I’m only about 3dpo (I think?) and I reckon I’m out 😂 had some light crampy twinges in my right side tonight but I duno.. I’m just clutching at straws really!
DH has now told me he’ll be away with work all week from 15th December.. AF is due that week, so think I’ll wait til then to test, so IF I am pregnant I’ll be able to keep it to myself a lot easier for when he is back in time for Xmas eve 😬🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Katie1109 yep deffo know I'm out too. You know when you just 'know'? Got all my typical pre-AF symptoms bang on time as well.

@Ellsbells112 nah me either! It's the absolute devil.

@Mrslane2019 I think it's generally considered to be around 9DPO at the earliest and even then it's not very accurate. The stats I found talk about days before period is due - in all cases the women were pregnant and this is the percentage who had a positive FRER.

6 days before - 25%
5 days before - 33%
4 days before - 42%
3 days before - 68%
2 days before - 81%
1 days before - 93%
Day of - 96%
Day after - 100%

So the chances of a false negative are pretty high any more than 3 days before so that's about 11DPO?

Speaking of over sharing, today I'm genuinely concerned about the amount I need to pee. Like literally every 45 minutes, it reminds me of when I was pregnant, bear in mind I'm only like 3 or 4 post ovulation. Is there any possibility it's a pregnancy symptom? Or maybe I just need to get checked for a uti!!

I asked DH the other day for clarification on this, and I have to be honest, I’m SURE with DS1 I tested with a FRER on the day I had implantation bleeding (not sure dpo) but it was about 8 days after I had heavy -uncooked! 😂- egg whites.. and it was definitely positive, not a squinter.

I know everyone’s different, I guess it’s possible I could have conceived prior to the egg-whites thing, but I remember the dates because we worked it out at the first midwife appt, and at my first scan we had the dates down to a T!

@Lori86 I don’t think it’s physically possible to implant at 3/4 DPO, so I’d say it’s not pregnancy related x but we’re all different x do you wee a lot, I mean amount wise. Or is it only the feeling of needing to wee and the amount doesn’t seem to warrant that feeling? x if that’s the case, it’s most likely a UTI x

Well I’m thinking no pill, not healthy and really messes us up!

I think I’m out too, literally not one little feeling I’m pregnant, even the cm which is white I’m pretty sure I had last month!

It’s just so annoying... I keep wondering to myself can I really just keep on going like this obsessing and symptom spotting for months on end, it’s already been a 4/5 months maybe 6..: I’m starting to learn a lot more about my cycles etc.. but I think we dtd this month at the exact right time so what’s the issue.. 🤷‍♀️ I’m frustrated and having a rant lol, didn’t even eat my tea tonight as I wasn’t hungry.. prob the anxiety 😂😂

P.s thank you ladies for the support earlier, the bleeding has lightened up but I’m not too convinced. If it was implantation that egg has burrowed itself really far into my uterus 😂

Katie it won't let me tag you but bI'm actually peeing a LOT, like very large quantities. I haven't really increased my fluid intake. I always get like 2 ltrs a day so I don't know. Just one of those weird things I suppose!! I'll keep an eye out for any other symptoms of a uti though. Thought it was a bit early for a pregnancy symptom to be honest but wishful thinking!!

I'm not sure on symptoms tonight. Because I started bleeding at 7dpo last cycle I keep running to the loo. No blood but lots of cm, so that's good. I was thinking my boobs hurt but I think that's because I keep pinching them to see if they hurt haha. My cramps are back though, feels like someone pressing down with their thumbs argh. Roll on next week when I can know either way.

@Sunflower2019 literally I feel exactly the same way 💔 every month its the same thing and it's just draining and time consuming! I really hope we get bfps before we totally lose hope! I've already told OH if not by January then I want him to get his little fellows checked ✅🤷‍♀️

My approach to contraception had been the fact we were diagnosed with secondary infertility 8 years ago so we just don't use any! I have been Pg 3 times (1ds 2mc) since that diagnosis though - luckily we want a big family!

I think I'm still in. Dull cramp today (approx 10 dpo) don't normally get cramp until AF has arrived. That said I didn't use OPKs this month so not sure I actually have ovulated yet! It took 6 weeks for things to go back to normal after previous MC. This time could be the same. Just need to keep bding and hoping 🤞

Morning ladies x how are we all today? Any new symptoms last night or this morning? I’m 8DPO today. Boobs are in full “We’re going to cause you pain” more, I hope they can’t get any worse x pain is definitely stronger than at this stage normally and lower back is crampy. Of course I have done an IC this morning and convinced myself I see a shadow of 2nd line 😂 I think deep inside I know it isn’t there, but I attached photos for your enjoyment 😂 hope your imagination is as good as mine lol 😂

Maybe do a digital one tomorrow morning to be sure? Still early days but getting any kind of line this early is good surely? I have zero symptoms unfortunately but no AF either so I keep the faith!

@Katie1109 hmmm first one I'd say deffo no and second one I don't know if I am imagining it or I see a very very faint line 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe wait 2 more days and test again. I know 2 more days is like asking you to wait 6 years 😂

AF cramps just started for me. Exactly like AF. My last 2 cycles were 25/26 days and today is CD25 so this could be it for me 😭😭😭 I thought maybe this time round I was going to get a 28 day cycle as OV was exactly bang on CD14

Bleeding started up again overnight for me. Dark red and clots so I think it’s safe to say I’m out now but I don’t know whether this should be classed as a period and therefore CD1 🤷🏻‍♀️
