Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

TTC #1 (2nd pregnancy)
Cycle #2
AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

💕

I’m on day 20 ?? My first day of period was the 8th November ?? So I’m late ovulating this month
I was the same I have tested every morning for 11/12 days ?,
So I was very shocked this morning that I got the static smily !! X
Keep going x

MotherofKitties · 28/11/2019 13:50

@Symptomspotter86 Thanks for your kind words. I've got a doctors appointment this afternoon, they've managed to squeeze me in so we'll see what's what, but to be honest I'm not hopeful, I've just passed two clots (sorry if TMI), which while very small can't be a good thing. I've kind of resigned myself to the likelihood that this isn't going to work out this time round, so I'm trying to make sure my hopes don't get up, but I'll take another test tomorrow and see what the doctor says; either way I'll keep you ladies updated xx

Mumofboys17 · 28/11/2019 13:55

@MotherofKitties I’ve been thinking about you all day.. hope you’re OK. ❤️

MotherofKitties · 28/11/2019 13:57

@Mumofboys17 Thank you; hope you get your strong OPK soon; always worth DTD just in case anyway! Grin

Symptomspotter86 · 28/11/2019 14:01

@Tenerife12 that's reassuring to know! I will keep it up. So annoying when you see that smug little flashing smiley....

@MotherofKitties good luck at the doctors and keep us updated.

Quiffy · 28/11/2019 14:28

@MotherofKitties good luck and hope you’re doing okay ❤️

Tenerife12 · 28/11/2019 14:45

Monstamio · 28/11/2019 16:16

Thinking of you Motherofkitties Flowers

Beau2019 · 28/11/2019 16:23

@Quiffy OH MY GOD! This is hilarious!! Weird as you've answered a question I always wanted to ask but didn't dare.

SO GIRLS - after you've DTD, do you lie there for a while to ensure the swimmers aren't 'vagina weed' out and they've got a chance to move

@MotherofKitties how have you got on today??

OP posts:
Beau2019 · 28/11/2019 16:25

Okay don't know where half my message went.

I was meant to say basically vote (a) or (b) here girls
(a) yes I lie with my legs in the air so so I don't loose any sperm and they have more chance
(b) I get up pretty much straight away and go to the loo

OP posts:
Mumofboys17 · 28/11/2019 16:49

@Beau2019

B - before TTC, every time. —We call it the cum run— (sorry) 😬😂😂

A - I lay in bed with my legs in the air watching TV upside down for as long as I can 👍🏻

Beau2019 · 28/11/2019 16:54

@Mumofboys17 hahahahaah yessss the only way to describe it! Oh lord now I really am panicking! I just lay in bed for an extra 5 mins!!! Now I really do think I've squashed my chances. I'm sure I did the same thing last time I conceived.

Oh well, 2 weeks time I will know!

Ellsbells112 · 28/11/2019 17:00

Definitely option a😂😅 @Mumofboys17 @Beau2019 my hubby has a good old laugh at me

Ellsbells112 · 28/11/2019 17:07

@Sunflower2019 how are you chick? Haha just read your messages from a few days ago, me and my OH have had a few silly arguments too due to his mess. He had ago at me for putting his trousers on the floor MATE stop folding them up and leaving them on the bed as if you're doing something and put them away!!! He told me to put them away!? Fuck right off. Haha

Where are you in your cycle? You must be a day ahead of me right? I'm cd11 and negative ovulation tests thus far, I think I ovulate around cd14-cd16.

Ellsbells112 · 28/11/2019 17:08

@MotherofKitties hey, we haven't spoke but I've been reading catching up, I hope that all is okay for you? Wishing you all the luck 🤞 x

MotherofKitties · 28/11/2019 17:12

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in replying, just got back from the hospital. Levels were so low they were negligible, said it's an early miscarriage.

Feeling pretty crap to be honest, but I kind of knew the second I started passing clots. Doctor said to do another test in a week and if it's still positive to come back in but they've pretty much ruled it out.

Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement, going to have a quiet night in with the husband and have a big hug x

Mumofboys17 · 28/11/2019 17:12

@Beau2019 oh don’t you dare!! I’m sure it’s fine! I only lay down for 5mins this morning after mine and DH’s 6am quickie 😬😂
I think it’s ‘advised’ to lay down for a bit, I mean due to the laws of gravity etc.. but I wouldn’t say it’s 100% necessary, positive vibes only!!! X

Mumofboys17 · 28/11/2019 17:14

@MotherofKitties Oh sweetheart.. I am SO sorry to read this. I know there’s no amount of words that can make things better or change the situation, I just hope you’re doing OK ❤️
Please feel free to rant here as much as you like!! TTC is so shit sometimes. Xxx

MotherofKitties · 28/11/2019 17:19

Thanks @Mumofboys17

Sat here crying feeling a bloody idiot; if I hadn't have taken that test in the first place I wouldn't have known and just would have passed it off as a bad early period.

DH is really upset and I feel so guilty. Just thanking my stars that I'm not at work tomorrow so at least I don't have to put on a brave face tomorrow.

Fp30 · 28/11/2019 17:40

@MotherofKitties so sorry to hear that, sending lots of love your way, make sure you're getting lots of rest and tlc

@Beau2019 used to be a, now firmly in b. It's a messy business but somebodies got to do it....

Pretty much ruling this month out as I don't know what's going on with my body. Had a 10 day af, stopped for one, started dtd and then bled again for another 2 days. Literally just stopped and got the flashy smiley. Genuinely it's been fine for ages, we start ttc and it throws a wobbly!!!!!

Symptomspotter86 · 28/11/2019 17:52

@MotherofKitties so sorry to hear that. Cry as much as you want and be as sad as you want for the next few days. No need to tell yourself to "stay positive" etc. Sending you virtual hugs

Mumofboys17 · 28/11/2019 18:02

@MotherofKitties you are NOT an idiot! Far from it. I agree with pp’s you cry as much as you want and allow yourself to deal with this in your own way x
