Testing 2nd Week December

Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

Please tell me I'm not going mad; I've just taken a test and I can see a line. At least, I think I can. I'm still bleeding, can anyone else see a line?

This light is better; DH can see a line too so I think this is a faint positive. I'm so confused, I thought I was having a full blown period with cramping, and then I get this. AF is quite heavy, and cramping is strong. Didn't have this level of bleeding when I implanted with my LO

@MotherofKitties I can see a line! Fingers crossed for implantation bleeding!!

@motheofkitties I can see a line too!!! Hopefully it's implantation bleeding. Try again tomorrow and it might be darker. Eeek!

Woke up DH and demanded he look and he said he could see a line but after last night of being resigned to having my period started I can't quite believe it, and what I thought was AF is quite heavy so I don't feel like I can celebrate just yet... has anyone had heavy implantation bleeding before? This is like a normal AF with cramping. I had the cramping with my LO first time round and some light bleeding but this is definitely heavier

@Mango31 I'm going to take another test tomorrow; same one again and a clearblue digital and see what's what. Thanks for the early morning reassurance! Xx

Hi @MotherofKitties, that's a positive alright. I was similar to you last month, with positive tests but AF type bleeding though it wasn't like my usual AF. Unfortunately in my case it was a chemical BUT there are lots of stories on here and online of women who have had this but successful pregnancies. The only thing you can do is test again in a couple of days and see if the line is still there. One week after my bleeding started the hcg levels had gone down and I had a BFN. Really hope you have one of the success stories and keeping fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 x

@MotherofKitties I can definitely see a line too, ‘heavy bleeding’ worries me a bit though. If you’re still getting a positive test in next couple of days I’d book to see GP just to make sure everything is OK, have everything crossed for you that this is the one 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 X

Ladies I’m now in a bit of a panic of my own. We haven’t DTD last couple of days as DH hasn’t been well and I’ve been shattered with work, *TMI WARNING** .... woken up this morning to very heavy egg white discharge. Haven’t taken an OPK yet as don’t tend to use those with fmu but I’ve just woken DH up and we’ve DTD VERY quickly this morning just in case 😂😂
Egg whites means ovulation right? I’ve also had some ovulation pains on my left side.. it’s almost a week early 😱 this never happens to me!!! Panicking I’ve missed the window as we haven’t DTD until just now..

@ohreally2019 thank you for replying and I'm sorry to hear you went through that. I'm going to ring the doctors this morning as I've got strong cramping and what I thought was AF is heavy. Because the cramping is so strong I've got a feeling this is a chemical. Trying really hard not to get my hopes up anyway.

Thanks for all the encouragement, going to see if I can see the doctor today and if not, I'll go tomorrow and I'll take another test tomorrow morning regardless x

@Mumofboys17 that’s good going, even if you don’t ovulate for a few days! Try one after 10.30am!

I’m going to dtd tonight whether dp is tired or not, need to aim for every other as we’d been doing it every night before!

Is anyone else doing SMEP this month? I'm on cd 10 waiting for my peak on can digi. I can o from cd 16-19, hoping it's a short one this month, CB digits are expensive!!

@MotherofKitties that's quite a clear line! How far along in your cycle are you?? Keep testing every day or at least every other day with the same brand test to check the line is getting darker. If it is great news - your hormones are doubling and the pregnancy is still viable. If they are getting lighter then it's likely to sadly be a chemical. Keeping everything crossed for you!!!

@Mumofboys17 I started REALLY heavy EWCM about 3 days before I ovulated and the day before I started my flashing smiley. My one sided cramps also came at the same time and subsided around OV time

Morning all, well I’m officially in TWW! 1 DPO today. Already convinced myself it’s not my month anyway because we didn’t manage DTD in the end last night because little family drama emerged and neither of us were in the mood. DTD Sunday morning, Sunday/Monday (about 2am) and Tuesday evening x af due 11/12 of December x how is everyone else?

@Beau2019 I'm Day 29 on what is normally a 34/35 day cycle, but after I took a negative test yesterday and saw heavy AF I thought my cycle had randomly shortened by a week and AF had come early.

No clots that I've noticed yet but it's heavy and definitely red and I'm cramping like I normally would with AF. I'm going to try and get to the doctors and I'll be taking a test first thing tomorrow regardless, and I'm going to do a digital one and see what it says.

@MotherofKitties got everything crossed for you! My mum had bleeding for 3 months at normal AF time. Doctors is a good idea

I think I'm now in the tww as well. I got a positive opk on Monday (cd 11 so much earlier than I expected). Dtd sat, sun, mon and weds. Annoyed about missing Tuesday as I assume that's the day I ovulated, but it wasnt to be.

No idea when to start testing, as I shouldn't be due until about 14th Dec, but I guess I'll leave it about ten days and start then. I've got loads of internet cheapies as my first lot didn't turn up so I ordered more and then both packs came together.

Looks like lots of us might be testing at a similar time, so hopefully we can endure the tww together! Good luck to everyone whose window is still coming up.

Hmm. Confused. Expected a darker OPK than this after all that egg white this morning 😕 thoughts? X

@Monstamio I’m going to try and not test this month but I’ll need to see how long that resolve actually lasts...

Just really caught me by surprise! My fertile window isn’t for the next 4 days or so (if my cycle is a standard 35 days this month) think I may just keep DTD just in case now!
Poor DH was asleep when I jumped on him this morning 😂 was just so worried I’d be too late if we left it! 😬😂😂

@tenerife12 what CD are you on? I'm on CD16 and still flashing smileys after 4 days! My cycles are usually only 28 days long so I'm hoping to get a static tonight/tomorrow as otherwise it seems a bit too late??

@MotherofKitties fingers crossed for you. Is it worth getting a blood test at the doctors to confirm pregnancy as well? I really hope this is your time!
