Two week wait...again

BabyB19 · 22/10/2019 15:28

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

I would have thought if I was it would have come up darker than that on a FRER so I'm not getting excited @dizzy85 will see how the other one is tomorrow x

@BabyB19 I'm not sure I can see anything - I would really try to hold out until Friday, as hard as that is - I think then you will know for sure.

How many DPO are you now?

dizzy85 · 20/11/2019 14:51

@BabyB19 I know what you mean but hopefully the next one will be show more you are still early.
I'm out of frers now think I'm gonna get one more pack and that's it.

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 15:19

I'm going to try and hold out until Friday and just use another IC tomorrow if I can @dizzy85 @ceebee21 I just want to knoowwwww same as everyone else! X

@BabyB19 I think i can see something fingers crossed. You going to test tomorrow. If you look at frer website the percentage is low of people who get positives on the first day you can test so hopefully it get clearer. They say test after 48 for a chance for the HGC to double.

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 15:38

I really hope so @Jonesbabynumber1 my day at the markets didn't go to plan as in taking my mind off things and my mum decided she wanted to have heart to heart about the MMC 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️
How you holding up you're doing so well with the not testing you should be proud of yourself because it is so hard x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 20/11/2019 16:28

@BabyB19 she probably thought something needed to be said but actually her timing wasn’t great. Mums they do try. I know I’m avoiding testing as I know I’m out which sounds stupid and the longer I leave it there’s a small possibility of that not being true a big fat negative is just not nice and once I test I’ll be testing mad. I’m not even sure if I should wait to Saturday Least then I can sulk in my pjs and not have to put on a brave face at work.

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 16:47

Yeah maybe that's a good idea, or even after work as you will be quite far in then so it shouldn't matter about FMU should it @Jonesbabynumber1 she did mean well but I just didn't need it this week. I feel terrible as well today as I've been drinking this week and I am now regretting it thinking that it could have stopped implantation or something

Jonesbabynumber1 · 20/11/2019 17:28

@BabyB19 well according to app I’ll only be 10dpo Friday and it will be 3 days until period so Saturday the result should be accurate plus my DH goes to work before me so I think I’d rather him around either way. I have absolutely no symptoms except a bit of white cm which could be af related.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 20/11/2019 17:30

@BabyB19 I promise you drink won’t have Anything to do with it if anything I think alcohol helps if I look at my friends who’ve caught and had healthy babies.

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 18:24

You just blame yourself don't you @Jonesbabynumber1 just being silly today. Countered it by making a home made sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry from scratch to get some goodness in me today haha, damage limitation 🤣 I never test when my OH is home, he doesn't know I've ever tested asides from the positive I showed him last time I feel stupid telling people

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 20/11/2019 18:37

Yes you think about everything you did and didn’t do to try and find answers but knowing it’s just out of your control. That’s one of my fav curry to make . I’ve had comfort food home made cheese, potato and onion pie. Yes I don’t tell my OH he just gets the not this month when AF shows up, but I think he may need to be there ready to mop up my tears this time. Yes I showed him my positive last time and I was gutted i did as nothing came of it. I’ve keep my frer tests and weird it helps just to look at them when I’m in TTW just as a realisation that if it doesn’t happen this month you’ll survive and carry on

Jonesbabynumber1 · 20/11/2019 18:37

@BabyB19

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 19:25

I kept the first positive test I did too, I just can't bring myself to bin it. When I got home from the hospital after finding out there was no heart beat anymore I was so upset and angry I binned everything and deleted scan pictures etc stupidly so not the test is the only thing I've got!
That sounds delicious, I'm comfort eating plus hangover eating there's no stopping me today 😭🤣 @Jonesbabynumber1

ceebee21 · 20/11/2019 20:08

I kept all my positives I took loads haha...I’ve stashed them in a box.

Did you take the frer @BabyB19

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 20:27

I did @ceebee21 posted a picture before, it's so faint but there is something h definitely there, going to have to wait a couple of days before doing the other one I think. How are you doing?
I've started on the crackers and cheese now there's no stopping me!

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 20/11/2019 21:02

@BabyB19 I’m clearly losing it as I responded to your picture in the first place!

I’m ok, just wishing the days away until next week xx

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 21:26

Hahah it's ok @ceebee21 it's hard to keep track of everyone isn't it haha xx

Ho all,

I had an MMc that was discovered at 14 weeks. Baby had died at 12 weeks.

I had surgery for a D and C 4 weeks ago today, didn't bleed at all for 4 days after, then bled heavily for 10 days or so. Wasn't sure if the bleeding was after surgery or a period.

If it was a period then I'm due next monday.

The baby was a huge surprise, but very wanted. So we are trying but in a 'let's see how it goes' kind of way. For a maximum of 6 months xx

BabyB19 · 20/11/2019 21:51

Hi @debbs77 hope you're doing ok, you're in good company as most of us have had similar experiences. Do you have any symptoms or are you planning on testing on a particular day? X

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 20/11/2019 22:00

Hi @debbs77 sorry to hear your experience. I had a d&c on 1st October...I did bleed on and off until the 12th though. My period then came on 2nd November..

Xx

debbs77 · 20/11/2019 22:07

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling a lot better now, a lot more positive, and haven't cried in a couple of weeks which is nice!

I think I'll test next wednesday if my period doesn't arrive by then.

I'm the type of person that falls pregnant first time every time and have a brood already. But even so, this knocked me for six.

I have wondered a couple of times if I could be pregnant when my boobs have tingled, but to be honest I no longer trust feelings in my body. For two weeks I was rubbing my tummy, feeling the early wriggles of the baby. But they weren't. So I'm not thinking anything about it!

I feel happy with limiting ourselves to trying for 6 months, which is because of our ages (I am 42, he is 40) and because we don't want trying for a baby to take over our lives. Xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 08:26

@dizzy85@BabyB19 9dpo I caved did a IC bfn which I totally expected it wasn’t even with first pee of the day the urge to poas just over whelmed me. I really want to wait until Saturday now before doing frer. How you all getting on.

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 08:50

@Jonesbabynumber1 don't be disheartened we know when we do these things it will likely be bfn so early on don't we. You did well to hold out this long! I'm still in bed wondering what will happen when I go to the bathroom 😭

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 09:06

You're very lucky that's it's been so easy for you with the others aren't you @debbs77 but sure that doesn't make it any easier this time around. It's good you have set realistic boundaries for for trying too x
