Two week wait...again

BabyB19 · 22/10/2019 15:28

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

@baby19 yes so early you just hear of these people getting early bfp and hope to be one of them. I expected it so wasn’t too disheartening But it was stark white. Just do what’s best for you if I got a hint of a line I’d be testing like a mad woman.

dizzy85 · 21/11/2019 09:49

@Jonesbabynumber1 @BabyB19 morning, sorry it was bfn, I had the same today too and some more morning spotting. I didn't even buy the frers yesterday as I'm sure I'm out now. But if nothing by the weekend then I'll probably get some.
@BabyB19 are you testing again today or waiting?

Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 10:01

@dizzy85 I’m having cramps so feel AF on way. Yes that’s why I’m trying not to avoid using frer as that’s almost the confirmation that I’m out. I wonder if it’s something to do with the time of year

dizzy85 · 21/11/2019 10:08

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm having cramps too😭. Do you mean time of year making it harder?
I'm already in my head thinking what I can do different for next cycle, definitely putting the other half on some vitamins starting today. And apparently I read something about bananas increasing sperm quality or something so he's gonna be eating loads of them lol.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 10:22

@dizzy85 yes just think whether this time of year has something to do with making it harder, but who knows. Mine is already on a vitamin but I may look at preconception for myself as at moment I’m
Just taking folic and vitamin D. @babyb19 did you test?

dizzy85 · 21/11/2019 10:33

@Jonesbabynumber1 maybe where it's so cold all the good sperms are hiding away 😆. We were both taking pregnacare conception before so I might try that again. What vitamin is your husband on?
I just did my last Poundland test with pee that was clearly well diluted 🤷‍♀️ but that's me all out of tests now so unless af shows then ill have to wait till Saturday as I'm not passing any shops today.

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 12:47

I did an IC and a FRER and both negative, I definitely think I'm out as my back is killing and I had a spot of blood before so I really think AF will be here any time now. Absolutely gutted 😭

@BabyB19 oh rubbish, sorry to hear that.

This whole process is a load of SH*T

I'm 5DPO now... waiting for the weekend to come and go which is terrible!!

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 13:24

Right on queue the witch has arrived 😞 so upset today 😭

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 13:27

@BabyB19 you have every right to feel upset, it’s exhausting but tomorrow will be another day and you can enjoy the mental rest for next 2 weeks. I won’t be far behind you. I’ve just been to coffee with friend and she said it took her a good few months so that made me feel better but I felt like breaking down but held it together.

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 13:30

I can't stop crying how can you convince yourself every month that this will be the month. I'm so utterly tired and fed up of this. I feel like I will never be a mum 😞 I know I'm not the only one and we're all in the same boat but I can't help but feel lonely in all of this @Jonesbabynumber1

It is amazing isn't it, how our bodies work, and the emotions that go with it all.

Big hugs ladies

Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 13:42

@BabyB19 sounds like you need to just let the tears out and have a big hug from someone. It’s one of the hardest thing I’ve done, I’m usually so resilient but with this I feel so vulnerable. It’s normal to feel alone cause although we are together each is our own personal journey. How many days cycle was you this month?just Think you could be getting the best Christmas present ever next month.

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 13:57

It's 25 days this month @Jonesbabynumber1 last month was 26 it's supposed to be harder when your cycle is shorter as well isn't it? I'm sure I read that. I'm normally known for being such a tough person nothing bothers me usually but this is really taking its toll on me now. I have everything crossed for you guys now at least one of us needs a bfp x

@babyb19 I don’t know I haven’t heard that before I think stress can change your period I was early last month but mine fluctuates each month. If your like me I’m a planner and like to be in control and these things you have no control over or no answers on what can help are the worst and can drive you mad. That means so much but I’m not holding out much hope. I hate how close the time of finding out and your period coming is if that makes sense

ceebee21 · 21/11/2019 15:09

@BabyB19 sorry to hear AF has arrived.

How long is your Lutuel (however you spell it) phase, as in how long between OV day and first day of AF?

Apparently, anything 10 or under can prove to make it more difficult, but that could be something you see your GP about. Also, I have read ladies on here taking a couple of vitamins and their LP has increased up to 14 days again... maybe something to look into if it continues to be short? xx

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 15:34

Thanks @ceebee21 I will definitely look into that it's very helpful I appreciate it. I think it was 10-11 days so not in the danger zone hopefully.
Mines been up the wall but I've never had one this short before. I've just got in the bath with a soft cheese and salami sandwich (I can as I'm not pregnant) a coffee(caffeine is no issue now) and my credit card and phone so I'm eating drinking bathing and Christmas shopping all at the same time, safe to say I was in desperate need of some comfort! X

@BabyB19 mine was 11 days last month. But I don't know if that is usual for me or not.... when I got my BFP the first time, I tested at 8DPO and got a negative. I though I was out, then just had a sudden urge to test at 14DPO and it was positive. It was the first month off the implant (without periods) so really had no idea when AF would arrive.

I am going to assume 11 days this month, which would make her due 27th next Wednesday.

x

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 15:41

Last time I had no idea about my cycle, didn't care when I'd OV, had sex when I wanted to not because I needed too, and it just happened, I really wish I could get back to that @ceebee21, @Jonesbabynumber1 is probably right and it's probably the stress that is causing us to not get caught x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 21/11/2019 15:48

@BabyB19 I don’t think temping or opk has helped me but I can’t stop myself now. I may try vaginal temping as oral just isn’t working as I open my mouth to much 🙈 I know I’m going to get some funny looks of my DH

BabyB19 · 21/11/2019 15:53

Sorry @Jonesbabynumber1 but that did make me laugh, we must really be truly desperate if we're now at the point of sticking a thermometer up out huffs!! 🤦🏽‍♀️😭🤣

dizzy85 · 21/11/2019 16:05

Hi ladies, just catching up, I'm so sorry your af came @BabyB19 hope your ok as can be anyway. Hope everyone else is holding up ok. I've resigned to the fact that af will be here tomorrow morning as I've had more spotting and cramps so I've just brought myself a bottle of Baileys and going to have a glass and get a nice long bath and a chilled movie night with the other half, the stress of this cycle has definitely taken its toll, time to relax!

It's true about stress affecting it though as the month I got my bfp, after 6 stressful months of trying I'd actually given up and had started planning a 3 month trip away to Asia with the OH, I didn't actually book anything but I was like that's it we are going away the baby can wait, we were still trying but I'd said if it's not this month then let's go, so I'd relaxed and focused on thinking about this trip and didn't think I'd be pregnant coz I felt nothing much and tested at 13dpo and a bfp.

dizzy85 · 21/11/2019 16:05

Oh and @BabyB19 the word huffs 😂 made me lol 🤣
