Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

@BabyB19 Temp up and down but hasn’t dropped dramatically nothing is simple so still above cover line. I’m defo doing up the fuff Temping next cycle 😂 I will do anything to know what’s going on. I know I want us to get BFP together. Yes it’s good to feel that you know we’re your at x

@Jonesbabynumber1 what is this up the fuff stuff about? 🤣. Do you have to do it first thing everyday and do you need a basal body thermometer or something else? I'm intrigued.

@dizzy85 yes I been doing my temps by mouth but they so Up and down someone advised there become a lot clearer by doing it vaginally. Yes I bought a special thermometer as it’s got 4 points which is more accurate.

@Jonesbabynumber1 I am tempted to try it but I dunno at the same time. It might stress me out more. Hope you get your answer soon.

I was debating temping but I'm gonna give it a miss until after Christmas at least as I think it will just be one more thing to stress about, I seem to be having a bit more of a period this week, it's on and off but there's definitely more too it so I'm taking that as a sign that things are getting back to normal!

@BabyB19 yep caved and tested again - BFN.

Got terrible cramps, AF must be on her way - evil witch!!! Although I normally get cramps once AF has appeared

Oh dear, sorry @ceebee21 that does mean that me you and @Jonesbabynumber1 will be more or less same cycle again though so can keep eachother company x

Yeah, we will all be around the same time which is great... fingers crossed for a really great Xmas pressie!!!!

@BabyB19 glad to hear that you feel your body is getting back to normal that’s a big thing after a MC. no more testing for me going to try and hold out for AF or if not I’ll test Sunday wish me luck as I’ve got a clear blue digital left. I had my nails done today and the girl who does them is pregnant and said she didn’t get a positive until 7 days after first missed af day so that was interesting and she had a MC and didn’t get pregnant for six months after it. If I don’t come on tomorrow I’ll count that as First day missed. Temping does stress me and won’t pay off until a few cycles to see a pattern x

Hola everyone. I've managed all month to keep away from apps OPKs etc etc. And felt much better for it! However, now I'm only a matter of days away from AF turning up the FRER i have left over from last month is burning a hole in my drawer.

No symptoms to speak of apart from going off tea, feeling hungry and having get up for a wee in the night. Also hardly DTD last month and not sure if it was even anywhere near OV. Part of me thinks sod it do a test, other part thinks it would be stupid to do this before AF is due

I am going to maybe not do OPK next month, just go with it and see what happens. I know roughly I OV day 15, so what’s the point in wasting the money.

I’ll see how many digitalis I have left and maybe just use what’s remaining.

God, actually think it was probably easier 40 years ago when none of the opk and early detection rubbish existed, you just waited for a missed period xx

@SallyCinnamon3009 well done on the opk. I’d wait once you start it’s hard to stop trust me. @ceebee21 yes I agree we think it helps but I don’t think it does.

I don’t think it helps mentally, we just schedule our lives around it!!

I agree the opks are a pain in the arse but now I think that if I don't do them and I miss it then I'll be annoyed for not doing them 😆 we can't win!

@BabyB19 yes that’s so true. Af still not here my DH wants to BD last few days but I just can’t think about that right now it’s strange.

I like to make an effort to make sure we are still active outside of the fertile window, I would hate to think my OH just wanted to have sex with me for that reason and not because he actually wanted to so I won't do that to him either. Maybe just have a nice night and be intimate without anything on your mind except enjoying it ☺️ x

@BabyB19 yes we have a really healthy sex life and we bd throughout the month Not just during fertile window it’s mainly since I’ve been expecting af at start of week and it hasn’t come. I’ll be much better once it’s here x

Morning my temps dropped again so 100 not expecting a BFP but In way all that temping has been worth it as at least it told me that I’m not pregnant so I’m feeling ok. Come on AF I just need to start the next cycle x
