@Gr1ff yeah it might be a bit early for symptoms at the moment but who knows, everyone is different! I've woken up feeling really sick this morning which never happens to me but I'm still only 8dpo so I'm going to assume it's a coincidence so I don't drive myself mad wondering :-( I don't understand how people think it's their business to let you know that your clock is ticking. It's so insensitive, they have no idea what a woman is going through privately when they make comments like that. A taxi driver asked me earlier this year if I had children, when I said no he asked if I wanted them so I said yes, and then he asked so why don't you have any already! I decided to fill him in on the last 12 months so I think he regretted asking pretty quickly!!
@BabyB19 thank you, it was very difficult at the time but feels like a bad dream now. Due to everything that happened and all the tests and hospital appointments we've had, I feel like I could actually be a Consultant Gynaecologist now or right a book on fertility!!!! It's so hard not to test every day isn't it, I did one two days ago at 5dpo and it was negative, don't know what I was expecting really!! I've always ended up testing positive a few days after the TWW so think I need to be patient (who am I kidding though I'm obviously going to do a few more tests between then and now!!!) I feel like you, I'm 32 but I have no children yet so don't feel like I can give myself a proper break from it, need to push on! Hopefully your symptoms are a good sign
@ceebee21 not long now until 4th November, if you used a FRER on 2/3rd you might get an early answer? I'm not sure how reliable they are, earliest I could use one is tomorrow but wondering if I should just hold out until next week... I know it's terrifying trying again, you just have to keep the end goal in mind and keep talking to those around you in the meantime for support. Hope you have a lovely holiday!
@Tbug @ @NZlife I've been using OPKs, I know they can drive you insane and make it feel like it's a science exercise rather than something natural but I found they helped to pinpoint O day so we could at least make sure that we were timing things right and then if I don't fall pregnant we don't have to wonder if it was just that our timing was off.
@Kayleigh0713 once you get a positive ovulation test that means that you'll actually ovulate 24-36 hours later so you've definitely DTD in time! Sperm can live for up to 7 days in the womb as well so your 4 days previous will have also counted
fingers crossed!
