Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

So I thought I was being really clever yesterday and ordered some tests to arrive next weekend, because I know if I have them in the house I'll be tempted to test before I should. But the company messed up and delivered them today so now I need to find some will-power not to use them before next weekend fail!!

@Gr1ff oh Christ! The time you don't want your delivery early 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm getting mixed up with everyone's dates, when are you due AF? How long are you aiming to wait? Xx

@BabyB19 the tests all came back normal except for the progesterone one, they found I don't produce enough during the second half of my cycle which means the lining of my womb isn't thickening up enough. I'm taking it twice a day now which has made me very bloated but I'll try anything!! I'm also on the higher dose of folic acid and I'm to take daily aspirin once pregnant just in case it helps. You're right though we just have to hang in there.

I woke up this morning feeling sick, hot and slight cramps so I actually did a FRER and got a faint pink line. I'm not getting too excited with what's happened to me previously but fingers crossed it sticks around! I'm 8dpo today so I know it's very early. Don't think it was an evap line as it was pink. @BabyB19 I also tried an IC and that one showed nothing so you could maybe try a FRER tomorrow?

@BabyB19 tell me about it - the one time I actually don't want my delivery to come sooner than planned! Not due until the 4th so hoping I can hold out until next weekend.

@siaa keeping everything crossed for you, keep us updated!!

I know that's the the best @siaa but at least it's all things that can be fixed with meds for you. I will definitely get a FRER over the weekend if nothing shows on the IC. Especially if I keep feeling crampy and stuff.
I do want to say congratulations as that sounds so promising if the line had colour to it but I won't jinx you just keep us posted and I'm keeping EVERYTHING crossed for you ❤️🥰

@BabyB19 it's sounding positive for you, keeping everything crossed you get your BFP.
@Kayleigh0713 I believe I'm around the same timings as you, maybe a day before but I'm not 100% sure. I either ovulated yesterday or the day before! 🤞
Way to early to symptom spot for me but feeing hopeful this month :)

Feeling a bit deflated again today ladies, apps 9dpo now, not even a squinter on the tests and I've got up with that hopeless feeling like this is not my month 🙁 how is everyone else feeling? X

@BabyB19 oh :( just relax, I'm not gunna do a test unless AF doesn't arrive I don't think this month.

Thanks @Tbug I'm going to really try and lay off them now until next week, I know it's not over until AF arrives so have to try and be positive. Just feel really emotional today tbh. At least it's Friday, might go home and have a 🍷 while I can. How are you doing? X

@BabyB19 I get days like that :( think it's cos few of my friends fell pregnant first try or by accident and this is month 8 so keep telling myself that's normal lol. Yeah good thanks, it's my partner's bday so I'll be having drinks later oooops! Might test on the 30th if no AF just so bored of seeing BFN's! Xx

Hi all - mind if I join?

I’m TTC #1 technically on cycle 4.
AF/BFP due 8 Nov ish

I had a MC in early September. So this is my first proper cycle after having a period following the MC. Fell on cycle 3 last time which was so lucky but was so devastated to mc. Desperate to get pg again, so we have literally thrown the kitchen sink at it this month. SMEP, pre-seed, OPKs and temping! Feel like a complete mad woman but at taking some comfort in knowing I’ve given it my all and the rest is down to chance!

Want to try and forget about it this TWW. Annoyingly have a posh ball next Friday and want to have a few drinks and take a break from all this TTC!

How do you stop yourself from symptom spotting, and testing early? I’m terrible for both!

I'm not sure I'll make it until the 30th but I am going to try and stop until at least after the weekend @Tbug do you feel bad about drinking though in tww? I'm saying I'll have a drink but then I feel guilty 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 there's no winning is there haha x

No I don't at all 🙈 I think I'm just gunna live normal then change if I get a BFP :) X

Hi can I join as I am on 9dpo today which is similar to a few of you. I haven’t tested which I’m finding really hard as I have FRER in the draw so will wait until morning. This is my third cycle TTC.

Hi babyb19 thank you and you . I glad to find a group with people on similar cycles. Does anyone else get nervous about testing I know I won’t be able to sleep right tonight knowing I’m testing in morning. I know 10 dpo is early but can’t hold off any longer and seen some many posts with people having BFP early

Its so hard not to test @Jonesbabynumber1 but I'm definitely going to have a few days stepping away from the wee sticks because I'm driving myself round the bend. I went out tonight and didn't drink, couldn't bring myself too 'just incase' I'll be pissed if it turns out I've missed out on wine for no reason 🤣 good luck and keep us posted when you test x

i tested this morning and as expected bfn going to try and hold off for as long as I can as AF due on on 31st. @babyb19 when are you testing again? I have the same problem I am due to attend a 30th birthday and if I don’t drink I will have lots of questions and some people will be direct Enough at to ask if I’m pregnant.

@Jonesbabynumber1 I am due 30/31st also so we are on the same cycle. I am crazy and lasted all of an hour after saying I wouldn't test, my OPKs got delivered so I peed on one (just because I'm apparently addicted to peeing on stuff) and I got a definite positive, which is odd as I'm 10dpo now, is I did an IC too, thats showed a barely there squinter but definitely something and every day so far there's not been even a smidge of a line. It's so faint the camera won't pick it up to show you. I'm not so confused but feeling much more positive that something is happening there. Anyone had similar experiences with getting +opk when up the duff? 🤔

@BabyB19 I have!! Last year I did an ovulation test and it was a strong positive so I thought that's weird and did a IC, there was a faint line!! Fingers crossed for you that it develops to a stronger one. The hormone you produce when you're pregnant can also be picked up by an ovulation test which is why it works. Everything crossed!!! I know what you mean though, you can drive yourself mad peeing on all these sticks!!

I've been away at a wedding and just on way home, going to do another FRER when I get in so I'm really hoping it'll be stronger than the one two days ago, I've felt really tired and achey but that could be because I'm on progesterone x

It's ridiculous trying to not get my hopes up. My friend had the same with the opk's and was pg so I'm taking it as a sign 😱
