Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

@BabyB19 looks like a positive to me. What OPKs do you use I don’t like the ones I’m using? I’m more confused than ever my Flo app is saying I ovulated 5 days after period which is very unlikely.

I get my opks from Amazon but they are giving me all kinds of lines. I’ll take a photo now of my flo app it’s probably because of my temperatures.

I’m more confused now than ever but still feeling relaxed which is good. If it doesn’t happen this cycle I’m going to try and give up on OPK

@BabyB19 yes I’m going to ignore it and keep going I’m sure that I ovulated around cd 14 and didn’t get positive opk until cd 13

@tbug @BabyB19 i download that ferometer app i prefer it to the others so that you . I attached last months OPK and confirmed LH surge was cd 13 so I’m going by last months and hoping for LH surge tomorrow x

I much prefer it too @Jonesbabynumber1 I'm deleting Flo and sticking with this one I think. I like that it can read your tests and stuff for you ☺️ I am feeling positive this month. Judging from the opk's I was well out last month and meant I only BD once during the fertile window so I'm not surprised I didn't catch! X

@BabyB19 yes it’s much better can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before and I’ll keep using it. I’m feeling more relaxed and definitely in the frame of mind it will happen when it’s meant to happen because as much as you can know what’s happening and bd more you can’t be in control of what your body does. My friend said you was doing everything for months opks apps all of it then one month the time she took a break was the time she caught x

Yeah I know what you mean @Jonesbabynumber1 I think I've been more concerned with knowing I'm in a proper cycle and ovulating again after the miscarriage so now the opk's are picking up an LH surge I'm much calmer x the app is such a good recommendation thanks @Tbug x

Just had a more or less negative opk so my surge has finished and so I should be OV today or tomorrow. I'm taking that as 1dpo from Tuesday to be sure does that sound about right?

Last time I counted 24 hours from when the test showed as positive as ovulation is mostly to occur in that time. So basically it’s two days after the positive test is 1dpo. Does that may sense. Interesting to see if anyone else has any other way of doing it. How many days into cycle did you get your positive opk? I’ve just taken one and it’s strongest test so think I’ll get my positive tomorrow which is same as last month which is reassuring and hopefully temperature shows ovulation has happened in a day or two x

That sounds like you're right on track @Jonesbabynumber1 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 i wasn't sure as I had some spotting for two days, off a day then slightly heavier but still only spotting for 2 days so wasn't sure whether to count the first or second. Counting from the first it is cycle day 14 s absolutely spot on for me too x

Well CD 13 and 14 were both really strong so I reckon today is ovulation day tbh which is CD14. If I haven't confused you with my waffling on x

That makes sense. Two months ago I wouldn’t have had a clue what you were talking about but now I speak fluent TGUTD which is short for trying to get up the duff 😂. Yes I’d count from first day of spotting as cd 14 for ovulation is spot on. Fingers crossed for BFP this month and hoping your TWW goes quickly. The first two weeks of the cycle flys by only feels like yesterday we were in last TWW.

I knew exactly what that meant. Becoming more and more fluent by the day 🤣 I know it seems two minutes since we were all rallying eachother last cycle and now here we are again about to go into ttw! Making a promise not to test like a maniac this month though 🤷🏽‍♀️

@BabyB19 don’t put pressure on yourself if you want to test, test everyone’s different and each cycle you will be different. For me it’s not nice seeing the BFN but gives my mind a rest from overthinking what if. Yes I’m glad Ive got you all for the next mad TWW.

What cycle are you on now, I’m counting this as my 3 which is crazy as I was one of these people who though I would magically get caught on first try

I came off the pill in Feb and was pregnant on the first cycle, lost baby at 12 weeks and that was followed by a horrendous 10 weeks of constant bleeding. This will be my third what I would say 'normalish' cycle since the bleeding subsided. So it's seemed like one hell of a long year 🤦🏽‍♀️ x

@BabyB19 that must of been so hard to go through. Until I started this journey I didn’t realise how many people have miscarriages. I’ve learnt so much but does scare me that even when you get that magical BFP it doesn’t meant that’s the end of the worry.

I think we read a lot of negative stuff on here because the people who breeze through it have nothing to write about so I do think we have to look at the bigger picture so we don't panic. It was really crappy but it happens and you have to get over it or you'd drive yourself mad with worry 🤷🏽‍♀️ @Jonesbabynumber1

The worry definitely doesn't stop, that's when you join a knicker checking thread and become a lunatic checking for bleeding every 3 minutes of the day 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

@BabyB19 knicker checking tread well that’s a new one. Gosh I hope we get our BFP together so we can both join the next mad thread together 🙈. I wonder how everyone else is getting on they’ve been quite lately. Who else was at same time of. Cycle as us @babyb19
