Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi All - I'm slightly out of sync with other's cycles on the thread but would appreciate thoughts on what on earth is going on! maybe a TMI warning? So still in 1st month TTC and DTD last month when the apps said was the fertile window. Cycle length is usually 27-29 days and on for around 4 days. Normally can tell when it's very imminent anyway as i get about half a day of craps/back ache. Not actually due period until 12th Nov but then yesterday morning there was a slight pink tinge when wiping 1st thing then from lunch time a small amount of bright red blood maybe the size of couple of 50ps when wiping which I though must be my just period starting early (at 24 days??) Woke up today expecting for it to have properly started but nothing at all not even a tinge no back ache and still nothing now. I've never had a period that was half a day before or that light or frankly with blood that looked so 'fresh' I guess is the only way to describe it! Can you get false starts with periods? Is there a chance I could still be in the running this month?

The only thing I can think of is implantation bleeding... how many DPO are you at the moment?

I have not experienced Implantation bleeding so cannot give any further info there... but does sound strange that you could have a 1 day period so early.

Maybe try and FRER if you can get hold of one... try it at maybe 12DPO if you can x

Is DPO - days post ovulation?
I've only been using an app on my phone to track my periods for a couple on months and it says I should have ovulated on 28th October we DTD a lot through the 26th-30th so I guess I am around 11DPO? I wasn't planning to test unless my period was actually late - don't want to over think or get my hopes up! After the mini period I am not sure what to think

@Talcott2007 I think the best idea is to wait until you are actually late as you say... so the 12th November?

The Mini period does seem odd though x

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm good thank you, just spent the last few days worried sick as my scan was today. They were pleased with what they saw - gestational sac and yolk sac where they should be so I'm still crossing my fingers as I'm only 5 weeks but back in 2 weeks to hopefully see the heart beating.

They've also put me on HCG injections twice a week as of today to help it stick around this time! I have to inject myself but I chickened out when they tried to teach me so my husband learned how to do it instead and he's very confident doing it which I'm glad about. Still didn't stop it hurting though 😂

How are you? Is CD8 that early for a positive OPK? Every cycle can be different can't it? Or, maybe you're going to ovulate twice this month?

Hi @siaa so glad to hear everything is as it should be!
I'm pretty much the same as @Jonesbabynumber1 we seem to be neck and neck at every stage!
I agree with @ceebee21 @Talcott2007 if you can try and hold off testing for a little while so you will get a more certain response, otherwise testing early could send you bat shit crazy like the rest of us 😭🤣 x

Anyone doing anything different this time round? I'm tempted to start taking pregnacare again!

@siaa that’s so exciting hearing your good news. Yes testing with opk again but also doing basal temperature and so far temperature roughly same each morning so hoping that’s going to show ovulation. If that works I won’t by using opks again there just too confusing. I keep getting headaches which are making me miserable and snappy.

@Jonesbabynumber1 how does the basal body temp tracking work? I've never done that!

@tbug I think it’s a mix of everything stress and a cold. @siaa you take temperature every morning before doing anything and your body Temperature raises after ovulation so no good to tell you before but helps you understand your body plus if implantation happens your body temperature should keep rising so it can tell you a lot. I’m just trying to get to know my body. My mum said it work best for her x

That's why I've been confused as it doesn't warn you in time to BD so I didn't know how people used it to conceive? X

@BabyB19 to be fair it all confuses me and stresses me out.

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 I was considering temping, but I believe you have to do it first thing, before anything else and I just don't think I could keep up with it.

I have enough trouble trying to remember medication for my thyroid, let alone that haha

@ceebee at first I found it hard now I’m getting in a routine. The only way I’m keeping my sanity is bd every other day and now I’m on cycle day 10 I’ll try and bd everyday although I have got a relative staying this weekend such bad timing it may be more awkward as normally we live alone and don’t have to worry 🙈

Oh no 🤣🤣 I read it's better to do it every other day because otherwise the sperm is less powerful 🙈🙈

Hi all, still hoping for some bfp on this thread. Well I’m still doing opks and they still confusing the hell out of me. Hoping the next few days it will be a clear positive, but feeling more relaxed than last cycle.

Hi @Jonesbabynumber1 my opk's are getting darker by the day but the other threads say that line goes darker than the control line so holding out for that hopefully in the next few days. I am hoping some of us get our positives too. I feel more chilled now too now I know I'm getting some decent lines on the opk's as I was worried I wasn't ovulating after the MMC! X

Hi all, just wondering if you can help me. Had a MMC at 12 weeks back in April. Just came off the pill very recently and had a few days of light bleeding, since bleeding has stopped Iv been having a lot of symptoms I had with the first pregnancy (sore nipples, bloating, nausea and dizziness) The past 2 days Iv been having some light cramping very low down and around my hips and lower back Iv also been feeling extremely hot? Could this be a possible pregnancy? I’ve taken a fair few tests the past few days and all negatives? I’m so confused.

Hi @Han133 it would be hard to say with you not having a cycle. How recently was the bleeding? I'd say 4 weeks ish from then you should be ready to test xx
