TWW testing on Halloween?

Hi,

I’m 29 and trying for my first baby. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of August and have decided to try again.

Will be testing around 31 October/1 November (if I can last that long!) so come join if you’re in the same boat.

@Lid88 haha yes I think we all tell ourselves ‘I won’t be that girl who obsesses about things... it will all happen in its own time’ but in reality I find myself thinking ‘I wonder if my period is ACTUALLY really a pregnancy symptom... ‘😂

Disclaimer: I know it’s not, but you get my point.

well, I didn’t manage to go to the loo for 4 hours so thought ‘why not’. Eek! Very early days...

@CL1982 that's amazing. I have just had a bit of pale pink spotting. 9dpo. Fingers crossed it's a good sign but I spotted last month and it wasn't.

I’m only 4dpo so waaaay too early for me to test still.

I'm 9 or 10dpo but absolutely no symptoms so if I test today I think it'll be bfn for me and ruin the weekend 😂

@CL1982 how many dpo were you yesterday when u got your clear positive? Have u keep up your chart? Be interesting to see it x

@MindyStClaire LOLS! I think everyone is different- I usually test positive pretty early but many don’t and it takes a few days. I def recommend a later afternoon/evening hold... no earlier than 8DPO though. I was pretty impressed by that Clearblue test though!!!!

Not sure what happened there. Was going to say having trash talked symptoms the feeling like thin hot pokers had been shoved through my nipples yesterday was what prompted me to test... waiting on 111 to see if I can get a progesterone prescription.

P.s @HugeAgeGapi chart attached although stopped charting as my BBT broke 🤦‍♀️ ‘‘‘Twas a super weird chart.

@CL1982 ah thank you! That's quite a dip and high, mine doesn't do that, I wondered if I'd even ov at all but the temps did stay generally high so I think all ok for that.

Hope the poker feeling has eased a bit!! We're all hoping for something like that!! 😂

I don’t know why I say I won’t test when I know full well I will!
Tested at 6.45 this morning and there was a shadow (only way I can describe it) so tested again at 9.15 and got a pinkish shadow again but stronger. OH says he can’t see it, so maybe my eyes playing tricks but also thinking it might be a dodgy pack of tests. I might get a FRER to do next week. So confusing!

In other news we just had sex, I'm 8dpo and when I wiped after there was blood mixed in it. A bit pinky. Fingers crossed its an implantation bleed. Got a FRER and might test tomorrow evening.

@HugeAgeGap I'm testing again today, been away for a day so just on way home now and will do it then. I'm nervous! I don't know if FMU makes a difference, I think if you're very early on it might do but after a few days I think it's much the same. Only one day for you to wait now, any symptoms?

@LazyDogFox don't be disheartened until AF shows, sometimes people have no symptoms at all and every pregnancy is different! Hopefully the faint line you got develops darker next time!!

@Lid88 welcome! I only started on this forum myself this week, had no idea what people were talking about at first with all the acronyms but you pick it up quickly! Don't worry about your timing, if you do it in the week leading up to ovulation that can catch the window as sperm can stick around for up to 7 days so fingers crossed for you.

I have the worst sore throat and cold today, just came out of nowhere! 8 DPO so could be a symptom but clutching at straws now!
