TWW testing on Halloween?

I’m 29 and trying for my first baby. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of August and have decided to try again.

Will be testing around 31 October/1 November (if I can last that long!) so come join if you’re in the same boat.

Yes mine too! It starts with the faint pinks but they darken. Yay @siaa 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Just need to not get my hopes up but hope it gets darker in two days! That's a lovely thought, hopefully I will pass it on to someone in my situation in years to come! x

@siaa this is sounding v promising!!! When are u testing again?!?

Yes I've got the FRER too, from Amazon, pack of four and one used for a bfn last month :-( so three to go!! Not keen on buying anymore which is why I'm attempting to hold out!! However, Sunday is calling me! AF due Thursday so should be accurate Sunday apparently. I'm tempted not to bother unless I have symptoms though!

Does anyone think using first morning urine makes a difference with the FRER lines being more clear?

Personally I'm 6/7dpo and my FRERs are calling out to me from the drawer!! I know it is too early to test but.... 😂

Just went to get up out of bed and had a sudden sharp right sided ovary area pain. Along with my sore boobs today I'm clearly pg!! 😂 Gossh my brain does strange things to me in the tww

@Whyhaveidonethis thanks that really helps doesn't it! So anyone doing the 10dpo on Sunday is better off avoiding the early morning for most accurate result!

@sojo44 yeah Sunday avoiding early morning urine is looking good!! Not keen if no symptoms still, let's hope they ramp up one way or another! When u saying using for temps, do u mean what tracking app?

@HugeAgeGap oooh sorry, I meant the thermometer itself. 😅 I know what you mean! I think I'll feel the same if no symptoms arise when it's D day to check. Here's hoping any little twinges are all baby related ! 🤞🤞

@sojo44 ah I literally got a "bbt thermometer" from amazon, as the bbt one has the temp to two decimal places, all the others I had a home were 1 decimal place which is no good. Can't remember how much but less than a tenner x

Somebody please tell me off!! I did a test this morning, obviously a BFN, I'm not due on until Wednesday. It's far too early!! Even the FR website says the earliest is tomorrow. I had a dream that I got a positive so woke up at half 5 and couldn't resist! I'm so annoyed with myself!!

@Skygirl1983 don’t let it get you down - it’s just too early, doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant! With my son I actually had a more conclusive result on one of those strips than the FRER at 9dpo, and they’re so cheap - order a load of those on amazon and then you can test away!

I’m only 3dpo today but have to test next Friday to see whether to stop my medication or not, so one week to go.

I transferred my temp data into FF this morning and it's reckoning I'm only 8dpo today, not 9. Very disappointing as if that's accurate means we dtd even earlier than originally thought - 2 days before rather than the day before ov. Feeling fed up, we don't dtd hardly ever for OHs so tired and stressed in the evenings, and to be fair probably isn't up for ttc #2 as much as I am either so doesn't like the stress of "performing"! Just happy to go with the flow, but with a ten year age gap I wanna get it done 😂

Still getting cramps, my cervix has gone back high and soft today and temp dropped which can be a sign of implantation. Boobs are a bit sore but I don't know if that is because I have been prodding them hoping they will be sore as a clearer sign🙈😂 going to do a FRER tomorrow I will only be 8 DPO so still early but I am going to Oktoberfest so if get a faint line I won't touch an alcoholic drink!

@Skygirl1983 I know what you mean, I did another cheapie this morning (I don’t know why 😭) and not even a hint of a line. It’s so disheartening but there’s still time!

I’ve got PMS symptoms today, feeling agitated/anxious and a bit tearful. No aches or pains or anything so taking it as a sign that AF is on the way. I’m annoyed because I knew I hadn’t caught this month but somehow still ended up getting my hopes up

I have no period symptoms other than my usual sore boobs. No back cramps, no tummy cramps, no PMS. Last month I had terrible cramp for over a week with a stinking bad mood!! I dont know why I'm getting my hopes up though as I really do not think I dtd enough for anything to happen!!

It only takes once! I conceived in August this year (mmc) accidentally when we had sex once a week before I usually ovulate. Must have had a freak early ovulation, or DH’s sperm is super powered 🤣

We weren’t planning on trying this cycle as it’s straight after mmc, but had some EWCM so thought may as well. Only had sex twice on what I think was o-1 and o-2, but wasn’t tracking so don’t even know if I did actually ovulate.

It’s all so complicated and has to be so perfectly timed, it’s a wonder any of us here at all!

Hi everyone, this is my first time ever on one of these forums so apologies if I don’t get all the lingo straight away! I’m 31 and me and my husband are just starting out trying for our first baby. I really wasn’t very maternal until I turned 30 and we got married and I got hit all of a sudden with how badly I wanted a family! I came off Cerazette in September and had my first period first week of October. I downloaded Ovia to try and help me track my cycles and I’ve been googling to understand ovulation etc. We DTD on Sunday and Monday, with me getting EWCM on Tuesday. I was completely dry down there on Wednesday yet the ovia app reckons I should ovulate today. Feels like a minefield and I feel pretty gutted that it’s likely I missed the window this month if I did ovulate today. (No chance of us DTD again now until next week).

Anyone else start TTC thinking they were all relaxed about it and then immediately become obsessed?! These two weeks will be slow!

Totally know how u feel :-) if u read the comments you can see we're all in much the same boat as you really, with all the; wondering if dtd enough, wondering if we've ovulated at all, wondering if we've missed the fertile window, wondering if symptoms are AF arriving, wondering if symptoms are early preg symptoms! Wondering if we should do a test today, tomorrow or Sunday, or not at all!

It's a minefield 😂

@HugeAgeGap haha I know, I spent an hour (when I should be working oops) obsessively reading all this thread this morning! I am already symptom spotting when I actually know that’s ridiculous as I’m only 2-3 DPO lol.
