TWW testing on Halloween?

Hi,

I’m 29 and trying for my first baby. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of August and have decided to try again.

Will be testing around 31 October/1 November (if I can last that long!) so come join if you’re in the same boat.

Still only 5dpo here...time very much dragging! I know the feeling of making sex a chore...we did that first month ttc and hated it so are really targeted now - basically just wait until I see EWCM and have sex every day til it stops (usually 3-4 days but only 2 this month, just after a mmc). I’ve conceived every time we’ve done this in the past but not sure things had gone back to normal this month after the mmc so will have to see.

@LazyDogFox that's great news. I had zilch on my test this morning so just going to leave it now until AF arrives. I'm sure the witch will arrive on Halloween which is pretty apt really! Even though we have only really been focused on ttc for a couple of months I have had my coil out for at least a year now and haven't been caught out!! I must admit it is starting to concern me a little.

@Skygirl1983 thank you. It would be typical for AF to show on Halloween! That does sound horribly frustrating but they say it can take a year of actively TTC. Easier said than done isn’t it. I wouldn’t be concerned yet but if you are then maybe see your gp?

@Skygirl1983 I'm in same boat as you. Stopped contraception a year or two years ago but been focussed on trying last few months, been dtd at the right times but nothing. We have one child already (ten). But we deffo don't do it enough, literally once or twice a week max, but have happens to catch the fertile period last few months and nothing. We could do it any more than that as OH would just stress out with the pressure, he's not as keen as #2 than I am

@HugeAgeGap thanks! None yet, bit of an upset stomach and a few cramps but literally that last about 5 seconds. I kinda want some symptoms is that crazy?!

@LazyDogFox no I think the symptoms do give the reassurance don't they! I'm sure their not to far off now! I think once you get past AF due date it'll ramp up for you x

I did a FRER this afternoon, there was potentially the faintest of lines there but in reality I think it was a BFN. Still I'm only 9dpo so will test again in a few days and see.

Thanks @CL1982, I suppose cramping isn’t bad. I’m 8 days post ovulation - atleast that’s what I should be going by the positive ovulation test I got. I’ll just wait and try again in a few days!

Thanks for the tip. Will have a look at Easy at home test!

@OrangeHue thanks! It still feels surreal but feeling ok. A few aches and niggles but I think it’s my overactive imagination 😂😂 how are you? Are you planning to test soon?

Great news on all the positives so far. Had a bit of brown spotting over the weekend. Probably in preparation for her arrival! So along with that and the negative tests I'm out. Gutted. Here's to next month.
