TWW testing on Halloween?

Hi,

I’m 29 and trying for my first baby. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of August and have decided to try again.

Will be testing around 31 October/1 November (if I can last that long!) so come join if you’re in the same boat.

@Ju1iet sounds like you're doing everything you can then and hopefully this will be your month! Sorry to hear about what you went through earlier this year, I had a similar thing last year and it's heartbreaking isn't it. Sometimes your body can take a while to settle back into its groove which is so frustrating.

When would your AF be due?

Thanks ladies! Yes they are darker in real life, but waiting to confirm with a FRER. Sending OH out as soon as shops open and will probably test this evening. Fingers crossed!!!

@Ju1iet the sperm meets egg plan (SMEP) is where you DTD every other day starting the day after your period ends up until you get a positive ovulation test. Then you DTD every day for 3 days from that day, then wait a day, then once more again the next day. Apparently it gives you the best chances as it means you've got lots of sperm waiting around (TMI sorry) and then you blast it with a bit more right around ovulation! I think it was first written for women who had had a miscarriage and wanted to get pregnant again quickly.

@siaa AF due 2/3 Nov so not too much longer to wait. I think OH is worse than me, asking when I can test.

@LazyDogFox can certainly see something on the first one. Hope the tests continue to get darker for you.

@Ju1iet my OH gets frustrated with me as he thinks I should be much more relaxed about it all so I don't get too excited but it's too hard not to test early!

@Whyhaveidonethis maybe wait for 10dpo? I can’t remne what that website said now, but that might help.

I don’t know how many dpo I am as I didn’t track my ovulation but if I use Ovia’s fertility window, I’m between 9-13dpo today. 13 was the first day of my fertile window but I had EWCM 11 days ago. So I’m thinking I’m probably 11 dpo?! I have no idea really.

@Ju1iet I Can hugely recommend SMEP (Søren meets egg) but I won’t lie, it takes stamina 😆. Hubby and I kind of accidentally did it this month. We are 37/38. We definitely feel too old for it at the moment....!

@Cl1982 certainly tried something like that this month, didn't realise it had a name. Also tried some of the, conceive plus.
Certainly gets harder to find time as OH works nights, we usually only see one another the days he's working for 1 or 2hrs.

That's really miserable about your cancelled holiday Ju1iet. We nearly had to cancel a holiday last month cos of my MMC and I was bitter - and that was only center parcs! Hope you have good news soon :)

Hi ladies, I agree about the repetitive nature of having sex. Puts a lot of pressure on my partner! 😅

I think I’m out this month. AF is due on Halloween and i woke up feeling crampy this morning. Which is a shame as I was hoping for a positive after my mmc in August and chemical before that. I suppose I’m not out until AF appears..
