Feeling blue as I got back late from the cinema last night to find af waiting for me, 2 days late. I was soooo convinced I was preg - even felt sick and that terrible exhaustion, maybe I'm just ill. I'd tested twice but both neg, but that has happened to me before (see last post). I'm a born worrier, so I even phoned NHS Direct to see if it could be another ectopic as I was feeling a bit crampy (duh!) but with no bleeding. Feel pretty stupid now. Back to the charting.

ebbie22 - not sure about your situation. I think unusual periods (if that is what it is) are a worry. Last month my af was five days late and heavy. I wondered if I had had and early mc. Have you started bleeding full on yet? I'd be suspicious if you don't...
GeorgesMummy - with both mine I have had +ve tests on the day AF was due. I have read so many threads though about people taking up to a week (and sometimes more) to get a +ve

AF arrived today . Wilbur, just like you, I was convinced I was pg, but I think the "feeling" I had was maybe me ovulating. Having just had my coil removed after 3 years (and no monthly cycle to follow) I am really out of touch with listening to my body. Ah well, if that's what it was then I know what "feeling" to look out for next month! Not too sad, it's only our first month of trying.

Thanks folks. Sorry to hear about your af, miaou - your feeling may well be just the body settling down after the coil - I was all over the place for a month or so after I had my mirena removed. Good luck for this month.

Wilbur,mine was a Mirena too. I will keep a check on what's going on this month!

Have just registered with Fertility Friend, just to see if that's of any use. I'm slightly more uptight about getting pg this time than I was before (a sign of getting older, methinks!)

So sorry AF arrived wilbur and miaou .

It seems that a lot of people (me included) have sneaky pre-AF symptoms that are exactly like early pregnancy symptoms. I had the same thing last month, felt sick and tired the week before but knew I couldn't be pregnant as we hadn't timed bd right. It's sooooooo annoying.

So, I keep telling myself to ignore every strange feeling I have and just wait until after AF is due, then test. I'm really struggling though!

Good luck to you both (and everyone else!) for the next cycle.

Let me know how you get on, Minnie. I for one can't see me remembering to temp every morning, not without dh wondering what the hell I'm up to (he would take the piss something chronic, I'm sure!!!)

Good luck with FF; I have been using for first time this month. At the very least I do find it useful knowing more about my own body.

I'll told DP he has to do it aswell !!! lol.... (not really) I want to see if i can make a pattern each month of what my body does.. (wait ans you see it will last 2 weeks) and with the FF it a handy way of doing that..

Not sure....STILL NOT MUCH BLOOD ON PAD...BUT LOADS ON TISSUE AND BOTTOM OF TOILET...aM SURE IT IS A.F.....oH SORRY FOR SHOUTING...keep bloody doin it...Sorry that everyone else also had a visit from a.f...Now look what i started..

sorry girls that af arrived its so hard every month when pg & af signs are the same nature is so cruel i have been there for the last 10 months and i now how it can really get you down.
Went a bought the maybe baby ov test today. not as much as i thought it was only $66 aus very interesting how it works with siliva and its the size of your lipstick. you spit on the glass end then look through it like a hologram thingy and when it looks like ferns then you are oving. iam really excited this month as i am trying something different x 2 the chinese herbs and the lipstick thingy!! Fingers crossed. gee i hope it happens this month i am soooo over this as i am sure all of you are too. good luck to everyone and baby dust to all ++++++++++

krocket, I have the same problem, everyone seems to want a baby !!! my sister is due in the next couple of days not that i mind her, but all my friends are or have kids... Better happen soon

Morning Ladies - CD9 today (I love saying that!!) ... been having period type pains in the 'middle' rather than to a side and today I have that niggle on the left hand side and the pains down my leg that I get. Confused is I ! I just hope I don't come on again for my engagement party (tomorrow) or our long awaited fortnight away (starting NEXT Friday!) ... I just don't know what's going on.

krocket - I know what you mean. All the "batch" of babies we know born within a few months of ds, now all have brothers or sisters on the way or born already I'm surrounded by bumps and funky maternity wear - I dying to shop til I drop in the new Topshop maternity stuff!
