Starting again (CD1)

Anyone else right at the start of a new cycle? I could do with some cycle buddies.

I'm 32, cycle 5 and TTC first baby. Regular cycles of 27/28 days.

Feeling bummed today - I really thought this month could be our month after all the DTD! Had my first TTC cry yesterday. Is that pathetic after just 5 months?!

@Peachyx2505 Sounds like things have been really tough. Hope your MIL has a safe journey home tomorrow and settles in well. Sounds like she is lucky to have you.

No sign of AF here, so if we are going by all my previous cycles I am definitely late. Just not sure when to test! I really don't want to tbh as I'm not sure I could handle a BFN...I'll maybe have a chat with DH later and decide what's best. I think the logical thing to do would be to pick up a test tomorrow and do it Saturday morning before heading off to the airport....just thinking about it terrifies me tbh!

Going to sit tight this evening - new episode of First Dates on catch up and pasta for dinner - can't complain! X

@blackfriars fingers crossed for you! Things seem to be all going the right way. Would love for you to get a bfp before your honeymoon! Although I can definitely understand not wanting to test to keep the hope bubble afloat. A few wee drinks on holiday wouldn't hurt either way... I really hope this is your month.

@peachyx2505 sounds like things have been tough for you recently. Hope things are better from here on in. At least you've had a distraction from TTC.

Been really stupid tonight and took an internet cheapie test. No idea why.
There is a second line but i dont know whether its just an evap as its really faint. App says i am 9dpo.
Just done a second one with same pee, just waiting for it to dry 😐

Second one also shows a line. Going to boots to get a FRER

Thank you. Yeah i called him upstairs when say the internet cheap ones showed a line. Dashed out to get FRER which showed positive in seconds. Did the digital not expecting it say as they are so much less sensitive.

@Peachyx2505 thanks, it is rough business alright but hopefully we'll all get there in the end. This is the first time I've ever checked my cervix so I honestly don't know, I was trying to check CM and just felt it so I googled it and a low, hard cervix is a sign that implantation has not happened. I didn't check again today as I'm just in awful form, proper PMTing.

Thank you ladies. I barely slept last night as kept thinking about it. Very nervous excited. DH keeps joking about twins as got the result without FMU and it was so clear 😐

How are you all? Anyone else due to test soon?

I bet you are so excited! Really happy for you. Keep us posted on your symptoms to give me hope. I'm a twin and would love to have twins myself.

I had a rough night sleep. Boobs and hips were so sore I couldn't find a comfy position. I hope it's a good sign. I've had such light periods since coming off the pill I keep expecting the mother of all AFs to get me at some point! Due on today. I'll be testing Saturday morning if she doesn't get me before then.

@keeponsmiling2019 i wouldnt mind twins to be honest. Going to book an early scan for when i am 7/8 weeks so we shall see!

For past 3 days had really sore boobs, back ache but towards top of my back, lots of tugging type cramps.
Today i just feel really sicky. This is my first pregnancy so have no idea what to expect.

@Wishing56 it's awesome you had such a strong result and symptoms already. And gives the rest of us hope for a BFP! Did you try anything new this cycle?

@Skyla01 this is my first month using OPKs so think previously missing the peak time.

Makes me nervous for chemical pregnancy but as its such a strong result I am hoping that it will stick

@Wishing56 do you know how many DPO you are? Hope you're not feeling too sick!

I'm feeling....not much today! Still don't feel like AF is on the way, but DH is very much in camp 'let's not get our hopes up'. I think we have agreed that we'll buy a test at the airport and do it when we get to Italy as then if it's a BFN at least we are on holiday! I'm CD30 today, and all my other cycles have been 27/28 days so I'm 2-3 days late I guess. DH did point out I never got peak fertility on my monitor this month, so it could be inoculated late and so this is a long cycle...let's hope not!

@blackfriars i think around 10/11dpo as had my positive OPK on 2nd/3rd. Sickness has passed for now.
I have a spare FRER which i will probably take tomorrow to see if line is darker.

Fingers crossed for some BFPs tomorrow. Keep us updated.

I am due out drinking tomorrow but I am on antobiotics so will just show my friends the box so they dont catch on. (I checked with my GP this morning and still ok to take the antibiotics which is good)

No update from me today, CD32 and although I do feel a bit odd this cycle I'm pretty sure it's just symptom spotting wishful thinking. I have little pully cramps but I got them last cycle too. Boobs are sore in a different way to normal (normally it's the whole boob, right now it's just the nipples) and I've been feeling a bit sick (the smell of bleach earlier made me gag) but I've had a really horrible week at work and think I'm just exhausted. Left early today as I was struggling to keep my eyes open. I'm quite grumpy too so I'm sure it's just AF preparing to make an appearance on Tuesday, witch.

@wishing56 I think I will try OPKs next month and see how it goes. I have no idea when ovulation happened this month. I'm going to give it two weeks for AF to come, already cd30 though.

Felt so uncomfortable down there all day feels like I've got a bung in my vagina! Came straight home and just needed to pass and BFP as soon as I dipped. We're so happy x
