OP posts:
BellatrixBear · 14/07/2007 11:33

I'm well, still very sick!

nomorePadfoot · 14/07/2007 11:40

How's this?
Sorry you're feeling sick (but that's a good thing, isn't it?) How many weeks are you now?

BellatrixBear · 14/07/2007 11:46

I like it!

Feeling sick = good sign, so not unhappy.

10 weeks, 4 days.

Booking appt on Tuesday, scan on 26th.

Wishing you lots of good luck, will continue to lurk!

PinkMartini · 14/07/2007 15:20

Well still no AF for me and had really vivid dreams last night and woke up this morning convinced that I'm PG but still twingy pains etc and I'm not sure if it's af or anything else.
BUT am resisting testing until Monday now as I've just looked on an old thread where the clear blue fairy gave % of BFPs based on DPO so I'm going to wait and see.

Am reading HP at hte moment to be up to speed with book 7 when it comes out next week but don't know what my HP name should be.

sorry to hear you're feeling sick and good luck on the 26th

monthlymayhem · 14/07/2007 16:56

Sorry is this is a really yucky question, but am still v new to all this ttc malarkey and have seen a lot of people mention that you normally get ewcm when you ov. Should your cm also change when af is on route? - still not sure what's going on with my cycle so any clues I can look out for will help!

BabyBratt · 14/07/2007 17:08

Well the AF lady definitely sang this morning, I cannot believe I am doing this all over again!!!!!!!!!

CD1, I have to live the 2ww again.

Not sure how long I can keep doing this

monthlymayhem · 14/07/2007 17:13

Sorry to hear that BB fingers crossed for next month x

toomuchtimeonline · 14/07/2007 18:04

Wow nomore thanks!!! My first mention in a thread title - means I can be involved on a weekend too!! Thanks for thinking of me - really sweet! - love your and bb's hp names - I'll have to work out how to change my name.. How are you feeling at the moment?

Hi Bella - glad it's all going well for you!

Bb - looks like we're cycle buddies as I think I'm cd1 today - try and keep your chin up we'll bd with like there's no tomorrow soon and you never know it might be the one [hopeful face]

Pm - [big wave] - hope your crampy symptoms are signs of a bfp - got my fingers crossed for you! I'm having crazy dreams too - this ttc lark is even taking over my sleep now!!!

Mm - hi!! Sorry I'm new to this so can't help with cm question! But hello!

My af coming so early is weird because based on my timings my af is not due till next wed-sat - so I'm a bit worried now about a short lh phase.. Although there is a 5% fool in me that hopes it could be implantation bleeding as I thought implantation would be around now if it had worked.. But it's like a light period so seems to heavy for implantation bleeding.. It's cruel isn't it - I thought that the pain of the 2ww would at least end with af but the wonering still continues..

Padfoot · 14/07/2007 21:38

Have changed my name again as nomorepadfoot, although accurate is actually quite so you'll have to remember that I'm nomore!

poppy75 · 14/07/2007 22:15

.Hello everyone am very impressed that I managed to follow the thread.

BB - sorry to hear that your AF has arrived. It is always the worst week, just have to concentrate on the second week of fun now.

Toomuchtimeonline - hope it is spotting
Took my temperature and it rose today so does that mean that I ovulated Friday?? As DH works away only managed to BD on Tuesday, not sure if that means that there is any possibilty this month. Was gutted as thurs night had ewcd. Will have to try and time it better next month, such alot to plan. The first time I got pregnant it just happened, am really envious of all the pregnant friends who sail through this all. Makes me quite at times. At least we all understand each others madness

monthlymayhem · 15/07/2007 09:57

Morning! I really have got quite adddicted to this site! Still have sore boobs (which is probably because I keep squeezing them, any sign of bluey veins are more likely to be bruises now...), but apart from that no other af/pg symptoms Testing tomorrow as I will be CD37 but not getting my hopes up (well...maybe just a little ).

Toomuchtimeonline - hope it is still spotting, and af hasn't arrived

Pinkmartini - I think you were planning to test tomorrow too - fingers crossed for BFP news!

Hope everyone else is having a good wk/end

x

BabyBratt · 15/07/2007 14:42

Hi Poppy, you could have ovulated just before your temp goes up, so rather than a full day it could be an hour before, keep BDing!!! he might have strong fast swimmers.

Hi toomuch in the nicest way I hope we're not cycle buddies, but if we are i thought you had ovulated just after me. My LP WAS 13 days (its normally 14) I believe anything between 12 and 16 days is good so if AF has shown up you have a perfect LP phase.

toomuchtimeonline · 15/07/2007 17:26

Well I think that its too heavy and too long to be anything other than af.. So I'm cd2 now and gonnw try again this month!

Bb we can count the days together this month! My lh surge was cd16 and af cd27 so if I ovulated within a day it's still only a 10 say lh period.. I'm not going to panic as it's my first month off the pill so anything could be going on in there.. I may not even have ovulated this month! Think I might temp this month to check if I am ovulating!

Padfoot - is your name change permanent or just for hp season?

To everyone testing tomorrow (mm and pm) - good luck! Let us know how you get on

Poppy - hope you caught your ovulation!

Treenie any news after you retested?

Padfoot · 15/07/2007 17:55

Toomuch Glad you like your thread title My name's just a HP name though I might keep it, it's not too HP to be an everyday name but I'll see how I feel later. Sorry to see you at CD2 I'm not feeling great today, have been feeling grotty most of this week due to a serious lack of sleep. Had about 4hrs on Wed night, 6 on Thurs and 5 on Fri. Slept in this morning and thought I'd feel better, but still feel rotten. If I'd have felt like 6 months ago I'd be convinced it was pg symptoms but can't even entertain that as a possibility at the moment.

BB Sorry to see you back at the beginning again, really thought you were onto something there

PM good luck for Mon morning - we're due a BFP on here, hopefully it's yours or Treenie's (or both, that would be fab )

monthlymayhem and poppy hi, nice to meet you (are you both new or have I missed your previous posts? Apologies if so )

ready haven't forgotton you, just been knackered, sorry

everyone else hi, hope you're all ok

monthlymayhem · 15/07/2007 20:23

Hi Padfoot! Yes am fairly new, have only started posting during the last week or so and this is 1st cycle ttc. Testing tomorrow at CD 37, but read on another thread that cycle lengths over 35 days can sometime mean that you're not ov'ing (my last cycle was 50 days after coming off pill) so am now worried that I might not be ov'ing at all - and expecting a BFN tomorrow... Hope you're feeling better soon

MrsRigby · 15/07/2007 20:24

Hi, can I join - ttc my 1st.

Padfoot · 15/07/2007 20:55

Hello MrsRigby are you really Mrs Rigby? coz i once knew a Mrs Rigby! (though she's too old to be ttc, so I'm guessing it's not the same one ) I've been ttc no1 for 18 months, so am kind of the 'old hand' round here . Here's hoping it doesn't take you that long!

Hi MM (can I call you MM? It's much quicker to type!) don't worry too much about the length of your cycle if you've only recently come off the pill - it could be that you're not ov'ing as pill is not totally out of your system, but that doesn't mean you won't. Give it 3 months to settle down then see your GP if it hasn't. Welcome to the madness of ttc

monthlymayhem · 15/07/2007 21:11

Hi Padfoot. MM is fine Sorry it's not happened yet for you Thought I would be relaxed about ttc, but 1st mth in and I'm already impatient!

MrsRigby · 15/07/2007 21:15

Hi Padfoot, I am indeed Mrs Rigby (up until 18th September 2006 I was Miss Pengelly).

Sorry to hear its taking you a while

I've got such an irregular/infrequent cycle (only had 2 periods this year), that I think it'll be hard ttc.

Going to see Consultant Gynaecologist on Wednesday - hopefully he'll give me Clomid

toomuchtimeonline · 15/07/2007 22:11

Padfoot - how come you're not sleeping well? Can't believe it's been 18 months for you! You're very strong to remain as upbeat as you do!! You'll get there in the end [sending baby vibes to padfoot]

Mm - fingers crossed for your testing tomorrow! Try not to worry too much - we're both in cycle one off the pill so it may take us a couple of months for everything to settle down.

Big wave to mrs rigby! Hi!!

Just been for a nice meal to stop me thinking about my af - feeling more positive about bong in 10 days time to make a baby [soppy face]

toomuchtimeonline · 15/07/2007 22:12

Oops bong should say bding.. Typed too fast! [Blush]

BabyBratt · 15/07/2007 22:13

Good Evening, toomuch we will get through this month counting together. Don't worry about your LP phase. I sometimes forget to take my temp and it only goes up 0.2oC if that is any help.

I've decided not to listen to nurses and I am going to try and not get my hopes up too much.

MM don't worry about your cycles it took me 5 months to get a regular cycle.

Padfoot I never really talk about symptoms on here because my AF symptoms are so like pg but it was that silly nurse who made me hope and believe that this month it might happen. I am normally so good and keeping both feet on the ground when it comes to 2ww etc. With my business partner being pregnant this probably not the right time to get pregnant anyway but I am still going to try my hardest.

Padfoot · 15/07/2007 22:13

Hi MrsR (sorry, I am a lazy typist) Congrats on your wedding last year I'm starting clomid on my next cycle hopefully it'll do the trick but I've been reading up on the side-effects and it sounds horrible I already suffer from painful boobs and backache before AF as well as hot flushes during, so actually taking something mid cycle that is likely to make me feel the same is quite daunting. The things we put ourselves through for those babies eh? Maybe we'll be clomid buddies? Best of luck with the gynae on Wed.
