Basically: a wonderful bunch of ladies supporting each other through the TTC journey when trying for a first baby after 35.

@BambiOnIce80 sorry read some comments earlier but I have been so busy today, I’m only now getting the chance to reply. Thank you for the link, the read did kind of make me a little excited, until very low mini cramping began. So I think it’s defo on the way. Probably ready for Sunday after my opportunity to binge drink is over lol.

Took another OPK tonight BFN. Very strange goings ons indeed @PixieN.

I rang after reading your comment @terriwrist and they said to ring back Monday morning and request a call back from a doctor. So 🤞 il get them Monday. 🤞 you get positive results yourself.

@russkispy sorry about the blood results it’s shit. But at least your in a good frame of mind and getting things started with ivf. I wish you all the look in the world.

Hi @pitterpatterbaby sorry about the chemical pregnancy and sorry your out this month. But maybe chill with a glass of wine and think of a few ways to seduce DP next month 👍😊.

@PixieN yes I think so - but will do a bit more reading around the literature. Vitamin E can also be a problem and they use it as an antioxidant in fish oils (mixed tocopherols) - I need to try and find out how much is a problem and how much is in the fish oils (I suspect the latter is not that high as they don't quote the amounts on the labels).

I'm sure you can get a print out of your results / given over the phone @Carley32. My GP offers same day appts, you can call at 8 or I turned up before they opened last week and was able to get one on the day, that might be worth a try? When is af due? Have you tried an opk today?

Af is due today, although I think I may be late this month, had ewcm on cd15 which is past my usual ov day. Have been in a great mood these last couple of days, definitely not my usual premenstrual self. I'm painting the utility room this morning while dh is out. We finally have some units in place in the kitchen! Glad we've made some progress before the weekend. We're off to a wedding next weekend and have been trying on dresses this morning. Felt a bit disheartened that some of my favourites don't fit at the moment but have 3 potentials that I feel comfortable in. I may still to the shops later.

It's really strange but I've got a really strong feeling of excitement today.

Af is due anytime between today and Monday I think (well if I ovulated when I thought).

I did an opk last night and it turned out to have a faint second line.

I did a preg test this morning and it was a BFN. Although I’m not surprised, I am feeling a little defeated with it. I thought I was in with a little chance this time around.

I wish af would just arrive now @BambiOnIce so I could just relax and have a bloody good booze up today!

May try and dtd every 2/3 days next month. As it says on the nhs guidelines that it can be less stressful 🤔.

How are you and DP doing @BambiOnIce80?

I think FW has just finished here. I had major Ov cramps on Thursday afternoon and we DTD Wed night which was pretty good timing! And Monday too. Another one last night would have been ideal but DH fell asleep on the sofa, I’ve given up being bothered when that happens and last night would probably have been too late anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have some news. In total shock but I had a positive test today!! 💖 Cycle 16, cab you believe it?!

Dh is happy but doesn't fully believe it yet (like me really). Going to do a digital on Monday but the frer is most definitely positive.

Can I still hang around on here please?

I’m going for a bike ride later - last day of freedom before work tomorrow!

Had a weird reading on my CB monitor. It’s gone from days of lows, (and wasted opks) including yesterday morning, straight to a peak reading this morning at CD15. I usually have a couple of days of a high reading first 🤷‍♀️ Has this happened to anyone else?

Great news @VenusStarr - congratulations!!

I've got food poisoning. I gave it to myself and my boyfriends by not cooking beans properly. We've only got one bathroom and it's been a hell of a 24hrs. I think I'm starting to come out the other side now and am managing to sip some isotonic drinks but he's still unable to keep anything down. I never realised uncooked beans were so toxic! Lesson learnt.

So sorry it was a BFN yesterday @Carley32 (and very sorry for the late reply - I had a surprisingly busy and productive day for a Saturday! 😮). I thought you were in with a really good chance this cycle too 😔 Did you have a couple of drinks in the end? DP and I are doing alright, thanks for asking 🙂 He had a 12 hour day shift yesterday, but is now off for a week so think he'll start to feel a bit more 'normal'. Not looking forward to the 4 night shifts he'll be going into after that though 😣

Sorry can't help with the CB @PixieN, but at least it's a Sunday and you can get on it 😉

Thank you @birdbybird, I'm 35, 36 in August, been ttc since December 2017, have short cycles so have had 16 cycles in that time!

Feels very surreal, have no symptoms other than no af.
