Lord, one day i will manage to catch up (or shall i get you al to run me through it at the cake fest next week - -mmmmmmm cake, so excited!!!).

This month (after first af after 2nd m/c id that makes sense) has flown by. Af is due any time now. Was 30-31 days pre m/cs. the last cycle, ie the one that started by the m/c was 35 i think, so not sure whether to expect normal or longer this time..... We only kid if ttc this month cos dh was away the crucial week, but i think we bd cd12, 19 and a bit either side (ie before 12, and after 19) so not expecting pgcy, although i think i ov q late so who knows. Don;t actually want to be pg this month.. well, that's not true - i DO but only if it sticks. WHat i can't face is a m/c which i'd still be dealing with when dd goes back to school (first day in reception 2 weeks today) and i have been feeling heaps better lately.....Similar to popsy i think... a bit more like me old self.....

msG oooh, a late af!!!!!!!!! keep us posted.

Rachel lol at dh being excited!

wheely lol at dh aim.

got to go now - dh wants puter

alittlebitshy · 23/08/2007 18:13

having said i was more like my old self, i've just been in floods of tears.
We were talking about going to the funfair and dd was saying she wants to go on rides on her own (miss independent, age 4). We said that she has to have someone older on with her, and she burst into tears and said "I want a sister.I want a sister now!!". So i followed suit and burst into tears (she didn't see). We explained that if we had another baby she'd always be the oldest, and be the big sister herself, which she liked. She had her pre school boosters today so is feeling a bit fragile i think but, it was so sad

So bloody hard!!!!

MsG · 23/08/2007 20:58

I don't think I can be pregnant - did another test tonight which was a Clearblue one and it was negative. God knows where my AF is. Just want it out of the way now. Can a m/c really muck up your cycle then?

Alittlebitshy, sending you big hugs. Your little girl sounds really cute. Hopefully it won't be too long till she has a little playmate.

xx

ronshar · 23/08/2007 21:42

M/C really mess with your cycle. I have gone from being very light cd30/31, to post mc heavy painful lots of pre symptoms and an increasingly shorter cycle. This month it was only 24 days. I am also not convinced that I am ov every cycle so that could explain the shortness!!
I am out the other side of the obsessive ttc post MC and now have officially given up hoping it will work for me the same as EllieG. We shall see it has been 6 months. Bloody hell 6 months where has the time gone?

sweetkitty · 23/08/2007 21:51

MsG - please don't say a mc can muck up your cycle mine were as regular as clockwork too before and I'm hoping things get back to normal soon

ALBS - aww you have every right to have a little cry it must be so hard, I very stupidly told DD1 whos 3.1yo that she couldn't jump on Mummy's tummy because I had a tiny baby in there when I was having the mc I just never mentioned it again and thought she had forgotten about it but the other day she said something about the tiny baby in my tummy and I said that it wasn't in my tummy and it had to go back and she said aww I want the tiny baby back and that upset me. Next time (fingers crossed) I am definately going to wait until I have a bump before telling her.

Rachel - good news

wheelybug - poor DP and his test hope everything turns out OK for you though

plummymummy/ladylush - yes I remember you too but I was thinking about ttc in May but never actually got around to having sex until after fertile period (mmm bit crucial that when ttc) June was the first proper month of ttc and I got pregnant, I really wanted a March/srping baby you see, still a June/July one would be nice too.

alittlebitshy · 23/08/2007 22:06

btw who's def coming to the cakefest (a week tomorrow!!!!)?
shall we start a list to save trawling the thread?
cut and paste?

sweetkitty · 23/08/2007 22:49

Afraid I can't make it I'm a wee bit too far away can't even bake a cake as my oven is broken, I'll buy one though any excuse.

KD73 · 24/08/2007 07:47

Hi,

Hope everyone is ok.

I phoned the pathologist yesterday who confirmed I was 9+6 when miscarrying. Am I right to assume that this was almost 10weeks pregnant?

flosspot · 24/08/2007 09:39

Cake- festers:
1)ALBS
2)flosspot

Add your names, people.....we have to have lots to tell the virtual attendees about afterwards!!!

Nothing to report- CD29, no sign of af- getting pains, but then had pains when I conceived last time....trying not to think abou it. Too scared to do test in case its negative....or positive!!!

ladylush · 24/08/2007 09:54

Sweetkitty - yes I would like a spring or summer baby. Each time I have tried to plan is so far it's all gone horribly wrong. I've given myself a larger window this time as being rigid doesn't seem to work for me. Yet ds was born first month ttc (summer baby as planned) and not many problems. I have my appt now for the recurrent miscarriage clinic. It's 12th September. Very pleased to get appt at last. ALBS I know how you feel - ds asked me when he can have a brother or sister

Hi Shreksmissus, sorry you had to join us on the mc thread but welcome! I'm fairly new too but everyone is very nice and supportive.

One of my best friends is 3 days late and about to burst with hope that she's pg. I so want to be pleased for her, and I am really but I also fell so , so don't worry we're all in that particular ship!

ladylush · 25/08/2007 09:36

Hi Shrek - don't worry no one thinks you're a jealous old crow - sybil is right in that we've all experienced those feelings. Welcome to thread and hope you're not here for long (i.e graduate to pregnancy threads)

pipsqueeke · 25/08/2007 10:58

hi all sorry i've not really been about - feleing quite hormonal DH has been away so been feeling all sorry for myself. anyhow.

hope eveyone' sdoing ok.

shrek - sorry you had to join us. we don't think you're an old crow don't worry last weekend I had to sit and be nice to SIL and DB when she's about 6 weeks she was talking of scans and couldn't eat tea as she felt sick etc it was a hard day but managed only for DB to ring later on and say 'what's wrong with you SIL says you were off as well' FFS what do people expect?

Lcy · 25/08/2007 11:28

Hi Pipsqueeke sorry you have been feeling sorry for yourself. When is DH back? My DH was meant to be going away with work for the first 2 weeks of Sept but luckily has been able to cancel - i think i would of gone crazy.

I bought i job lot of pregnancy kits from accessdiagnostics and was pleased to see just a very faint line on the test this morning - glad those pregnancy hormones are going.

*TMI alert
Can i ask those that have had the D&C - did your bleeding stop and start. I bleed a small amount for 2 days and now sometimes i bleed a small amount of red blood and sometimes i dont? It is only the 5th day since the op - and i now seem to be getting a brownish discharge (old blood) when i wipe. Is this ok do you think? Sorry for TMI on a Saturday morning - just cant wait for bleeding to stop.

Hope you are all ok xx

Lcy · 25/08/2007 11:33

P.S Shrek - i am a bitter twisted old crow in disguise - i pretend i dont care that everyone is pregnant around me (even the girl who didnt even know she was pregnant till 12 months and did a load of extreme sports) - but inside

Lcy · 25/08/2007 11:34

whoops meant 12 weeks - now 12 months - that would be amazing!!

MsG · 25/08/2007 18:41

Hi all.

Sweetkitty, I'm sorry if I upset you - really didn't mean to - am just getting in a bit of a state because my AF hasn't turned up but the 2 pregnancy tests I did were both negative. I suppose being so anxious about it may well be making my AF late. Or maybe I am pregnant and it was too soon to detect? I don't know. I'll go to the docs next week if it hasn't shown up.

I'm sure everyone is different though and even if my cycle is mucked up, it doesn't mean that happens to everyone.

Lcy, I didn't have a D&C so sorry I can't really help - I'm sure someone else will be able to though.

I'm finding things hard at the moment. The late AF is driving me insane.

Hope everyone else is ok. xx

alittlebitshy · 25/08/2007 19:05

so 2 of us for cake eh? . yum lots for me.

af came bang on time which i am relieved about cos i'm glad i have a proper cycle (last time, first month trying after m/c, when i had had 2 short cycles since the m/c, i got pg and m/c again but was never sure QUITE when i had been due on. This time i am relieved to have got into a pattern again). Utterly determined that this cycle will be a good one, although whenever i think about being pg a shiver of fear runs through me.

We've bene to the indor beach at the O2 today. Fabbo!!!! Finishes Monday though Oh well, cake fest on fri.

oh yum that sounds lovely!!!!!!

yup, cake fest is in London

PiggyPenguin · 25/08/2007 19:55

Umm, my mum used to make fabulous yorky puds which we used to have with jam - perfect comfort food. I don't think I should indulge though, my jeans were feeling a tad tight this month, and sadly I'm not pg, just fat.

wheelybug · 25/08/2007 20:01

Hi All

Just a quickie from me to say I am off on hols tomorrow (well, leaving here at 2.30 in the morning.... yikes) for 2 weeks in the sun. Yippee !!!!

Hope the cakefest goes well - I'll come along to any subsequent events. Look forward to reading all about it.

Shreksmissus - glad you found us

Take care y'all and I look forward to hearing about BFPs on my return !!!!!
