Am coming to London in Oct but that's a bit late, you'll probably all have gone by then. Will eat some cake for you though!
I like batfink. Personally I think I would like to be dangermouse though. Though realistically am more of a Bagpuss.

Ellie- am joining you on the AF wait, I'm certain it will turn up any minute. I've been spotting since monday- another odd post mc symptom to puzzle over. Still, I don't seem to have been so crampy this month, so hopefully my body is slowly getting there.

And of course alot of cake will help!

Ellie- that cake shop is addictive- we'll easily be able to fit in more by October!

torres glad body going back to normal - I had spotting the first few cycles but have stopped now....just read you post and am all excited for you just in case these are actually SYMPTOMs for you tee hee

Being married is going to be fab, yes. Wasn't too keen on it first time round (am soiled goods, scarlet woman divorcee type - wasn't a good idea to marry first boyfriend ) but am very happy with lovely DP and can't imagine not being with him, especially now am older and wiser and know the difference between a good relationship and one that ain't.

14th June. Have booked this beautiful little ancient chapel right above the beach by the sea - is only tiny so I have a brilliant excuse not to invite anyone I don't want.

Yes I was whisked away for a surprise weekend. Jersey doesn't sound particularly glamourous but we were young and poor (8 years ago ) and we had a smashing time - Jersey is lovely and fascinating although I imagine a bit hellish in the summer ?

Anyway, we stayed in this really twee guest house but the people were lovely and bought us our breakfast in bed every morning because we couldn't be bothered to get up in time - the night we got engaged we had dinner in a hotel overlooking a big bay (St Aubin ??). Ahhh the memories...

I live in St Aubin! In the little village round the harbour. It is usually a bit hellish in summer but we're had so much rain that it hasn't been too bad for tourists!
I'm still very excited. Though I told my DP I didn't want an engagement ring cos no fuss was the rule and now (secretly) I wish I hadn't as I am obviously very shallow and frivolous

Ellie- congratulations! It's fantastic news, really so excited for you. Agree with popsy- being married is GREAT. Also think that no engagement ring now means you can angle for one on first anniversary/birth of first child....the longer you wait, the more impressive it will be!!

Popsy- love your way of thinking- we definitely have to eat Ellie's share of cake for her! Ditto Torres- we have enough time before she arrives to put away all the good stuff. Especially if ladylush helps!
