Hello everyone

Popsy - hope you enjoy the reflexology. It has really helped me. Got my 3rd session tomorrow evening Probably tmi but my cm is back to normal and everyone is saying how well I look (in fact it's a bit annoying at times as some people don't know about the m/c and think I've been to a health farm!) - not that I want to wallow in it, but you know what I mean. Let us know how it goes. Will try acupuncture too when I have completed the weekly reflexology (which I am having til cycle returns to normal).

Jess - keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's just a really early pregnancy.

What is this cake meet up? Must have missed that.

pipsqueeke · 01/08/2007 08:22

hello all, i'll prob be joining you all at some point over the coming weeks am currently going thru my 3rd m/c passed the sac yesterday and feeling a bit down/raw. but determined as well to start ttc asap.

hope you're all ok and manage to get BFP's soon

PicknMix · 01/08/2007 08:32

Hiya Pipsqueeke, just wanted to say really very sorry to hear what you're going through at the moment, and that its your third time.

How long have you been ttc?

lissie · 01/08/2007 08:34

im really really sorry pipsqueeke

pipsqueeke · 01/08/2007 08:35

tbh we decided in feb and were ttc but not really it was more if it's ment to be iycwim. I ahd 2 m/c's prior to DS then DS and now this one (pre ds were at 7.5 and 5 weeks respectively) this one apparenlty the baby was 9mm so they should ahve seen a heart but couldn't so said the baby died about a week ago - around 7 weeks again. we were 9 months ttc with DS.

lissie · 01/08/2007 08:44

they should start investigations now then. im so sorry, my heart truly goes out to you!

pipsqueeke · 01/08/2007 08:46

apparently so yes. just scared it will happen again. still don't want to bring down the thread will look in and out, and hopefully join you all in a couple of weeks - all being well. it doesn't help with ds I had a m/c at 5 weeks and within the next cycle fell with him so I guess i'm assuming but not hoping it will happen like that again.

lissie · 01/08/2007 08:49

remember each mc puts a lot of strain on your body. in this case it might be best to wait one cycle before ttc again, i know you dont want to butyou will need time to recover and 2w is not very long!

Wheelybug · 01/08/2007 08:49

Hi Pipsqueeke - so sorry you're over here but welcome. Don't worry aobut bringing things down, we've all been there so come and chat to us as much as you like.

Hope you're not in too much pain and that things sort out quickly. Sending hugs your way.

pipsqueeke · 01/08/2007 08:51

I know lissie - I guess it's my way of ignoring aznd not dealing as it's easier iycwim? hope that doesn't make me sound callous.

wheely - how are you going with the persona?

LittleSquirt · 01/08/2007 08:53

So sorry to hear what you are going through Pipsqueeke. Keeping fingers crossed for you that next time things go better. Sending you big hugs. xxx

Wheelybug · 01/08/2007 08:59

pipsqueeke - tbh, I didn't get it reset in time (I was struggling to do it on Day 5 and had to go out) so haven't used it yet. I was thinking (and had just CATed JARM to see what she thought, as I didn't want to mention it too soon but as you've mentioned it I'll run it by you) of sending it back to you. Don't worry about reimbursing me now - you can send it back to me when you're finished as I'll probably still be here (and if not, then it won't matter !). What do you think ? I'd really like to do this if you agree and hope you don't think it insensitive to mention it now.

flosspot · 01/08/2007 09:56

Pipsqueeke, Jess- so very sorry- thinking of you both

Ronshar- cakefest, I am sure, is a moveable feast (geddit?) The more the merrier, I say.....I like an audience when I stuff my face!

Torres- told Mr Floss last night about cake fest and he struggled, but managed to control his giggle. Then asked if was MN organised event, or had it been arranged between ourselves-very concerned for safety and well-being of un-fecund wife! He did commit cardinal sin of saying "Don't you have to be a mum to be on mumsnet?"

Morning to everyone else. Hope things are bright and beautiful in your world....

flosspot · 01/08/2007 09:57

RE: Cakefest- is there a seperate thread? Who will take charge and come up with timings? Am I being to nanny-ish for my own good?

popsy76 · 01/08/2007 10:15

Morning lovely ladies

Gosh a lot of chatter has been going on - have been laughing and crying reading it all.
laughing cos your DHs sound LOVELY
crying for everyone having a shit time (welcome pips soory you have had such a tough time - son't worry about bringing us down)

Reflexology was brill - though a bit embarassed as I burst into tears when she was rubbing my womb and ovaries spot (). Anyways the long and the short of it is that I am very stressed (no shit sherlock) and my adrenals are over worked, i have a bad back (ditto) - but looks like my lady bits are fine - she thinks is just stress and grief keeping things out of sync and says I should sort my head out before I ttc too much cos i need to be in a better place to have a baby....grumble grumble... I know she is right so here goes. Still staying here of course ladies but gonna stop the shagathon and just chill.

If anyone wants to relax I would definitely recommend it - feel so much more chilled alread y (and no needles!)

Do you know we are very lucky with our thread - I have seen some really bitchy postings elsewhere - I tend to just stay here now cos it is a nice place to be - really supportive.

Anyways hi to everyone (spesh you wheely me old chum ) and yes lets move the cake fest date to one that most of us can make - flossy where you volunteering to be in charge? - we ned someone to sort us out!

p.s. jess crossing eyes and toes for you hon

LittleSquirt · 01/08/2007 10:17

at your DH Flosspot!!!

I think mine's probably thinking the same thing mind you, just not dared say it!!

popsy76 · 01/08/2007 10:19

he sounds fine - mine said last night "I thought you were better? Well that was a massive waste of money on a holiday wasn't it?".... then the shit hit the fan ha ha - he soon regretted those words when I took time to EXPLAIN WHAT AN UNSYMPATHETIC B*STARD HE WAS BEING....

OP posts:
LittleSquirt · 01/08/2007 10:26

Good for you Popsy

My DH took me out for dinner last night (which was lovely) but I soon realised it was to suggest that we should stop TTC for 3 months "as I am clearly obsessed since I am spending all my time on THOSE forums". Didn't go down well.

Needless to say, we are not still TTC!

LittleSquirt · 01/08/2007 10:27

NOW still TTC I meant!!!!!

popsy76 · 01/08/2007 10:48

PHEW!

OP posts:
kensgirl · 01/08/2007 10:49

Mr kgirl thinks I spen too much time here, methinks..., but I just ignore him!!

Very jealous at this cakefest, I'm gonna be here on my tod, with a solitary, sad donut from Asda , not that I'm feling sorry for myself at all

glad you feel so super chilled now Popsy, I'm never sure of how to about finding a reputable practitoner, but would love to go and do something to help myself. i get the tingling, shooting pains and even nausea now, I'm pretty sure its just the way my body is now, but it is still a wierd feeling.

Glad you have an appointment Torres, I have a good feeling about you

hey Wheely! A year, eh... 10th cycle for me now, I'm trrying to get my head around it all.

Jess - thinking of you and hope you are OK.

NH - wow, long cycles, I'm the opposite with cycles between 23 and 26, it must be hard waiting so long between chances? thinking of you though.

Hi to Ronshar, Lissie, Littlesquirt, and anyone else, gosh there are sooo many of us..... x

LittleSquirt · 01/08/2007 10:52

Hey Kensgirl and hello too to everyone

Just had a laugh to myself at thought of calling DH "Mr LittleSquirt". Just sounds very wrong!

PicknMix · 01/08/2007 11:01

Oooooh, I haven't even told DH that I come on here - think he might think I've gone ga ga having only been ttc for just one month....

Have to keep flicking between web pages when he comes in the room!!!

BTW am in awe of you ladies who have been ttc'ing for so long, my AF was due sometime this week and I have been knicker checking so much that my work colleagues think I have a wee infection!!!

PicknMix · 01/08/2007 11:03

not convinced 'awe' was the right word - sorry but I hope you know what I mean....
