Hi ladies, our old thread is full and now I can't find anyone
I have posted here and on bereavement thread with same title - come join me if you find this

OP posts:
ladylush · 17/07/2007 11:53

Oh excellent siameze - thank you for that. I will defo add it to my list.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 11:54

Thanks littlesquirt too (btw your previous name - was it based on the place in S France?)

LittleSquirt · 17/07/2007 13:40

It's not, no, it's my real name (I am French). I thought I should show a bit more imagination so decided to change it

ladylush · 17/07/2007 15:23

Oh I see! We passed through Aude recently so it was fresh in my memory

jess1996 · 17/07/2007 18:57

Hello again. There's so many people on this thread I don't know if I'll be able to keep up.

MrsMcJnr - I'm glad everthing is going well for you. I remember you well from other threads.

Angua - congratulations. Sadly, I think we were on the due in Sept thread for a short while.

Hello to everyone else and thanks for all your kind comments. I was feeling a bit hysterical yesterday morning, but I'm feeling a bit more positive today. I'm just waiting for af to finally arrive. I'm on CD29 of a usually 29-31 day cycle. I don't really know when I OV'd as I wasn't charting this month. The last EWCM I had was 17 days ago! But other signs suggest that OV was about 14 days ago. I had really sore (.)(.)s on Fri/Sat which gave me some hope, but sadly they have deflated (along with this month's hopes). Is it possible for breast tenderness to disappear even before af is due if you are pregnant? Seems unlikely to me, so I'm assuming that this month is done with.

torres · 17/07/2007 19:13

Hello ladies,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. DH definitely saved the day with a super meal out. Was a bit worried I might get all teary but I was too distracted by my natural greediness and stuffed myself silly and had quite alot of wine.

GP was very kind this morning and has signed me off work for a week. She was very supportive and told me not to get too worked up about my 'thin lining'. It could be hormonal, it could be scarring from the EPRC but it seems there are approaches to be taken in either case. She has referred me for an HSG which should show any scarring/adhesions. I feel much better for having some information. Another MNetter- glimmer- has given me lots of advice as she had adhesions post EPRC- isnt MN great?

ladylush- I've taken your advice- I think I need to accept that mc and ttc puts alot of strain on us and that I am not a wimp for needing time to rest up. Hope your hcg levels fall soon so you can feel you are moving on.

weasley- hello birthday twin! I agree about it being another milestone(extra panic over increasing age, wondering how things could have been). I really hope you enjoy your wedding anniversary as you deserve, even though you have sad memories associated with the date.

littlesquirt- I like the new name! Glad you got the BFN- its an odd feeling wanting one though isnt it. Sorry to hear about your pg friends. We will be here to help you through the tough times and hopefully you'll have your own bump soon.

Flosspot- thanks for the birthday hugs and advice. Fingers crossed AF stays away for you.

MrsMc- thanks for your concern, you're such a sweetie. I think you're right about being rundown. I came back from the doctors at lunchtime and promptly fell asleep! thanks for the preseed offer. We tried pre-seed last month and DH loved it! . Bet youre wishing it was friday already for your next viewing of beanie!

herby- 5 sounds an excellent result from what I've read and must be reassuring.

siameez- love the t-shirt idea! thanks for posting about homerton epu- I didn't realise they did self-referrals. I went to UCH last time but the staff were a mixed bag so I think I will go to homerton next time (PMA!)

Alittlebit- another birthday twin! hope you enjoyed your birthday and got spoilt, and hope you have a super time on hols.

lissie- hope everything is ok for you x

torres · 17/07/2007 19:18

Hi jess- really sorry to hear you were also having a hysterical day yesterday. I hope its not all over for you this month, fingers crossed. I find the last few days of a cycle the hardest, worse than when AF actually arrives. Sending you a big hug.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 20:49

Hi torres - glad you enjoyed your bday and had copious wine. Good move. I have been having 2 glasses ever since the day after the op and it has defo helped. Will go back to sensible drinking once I resume work next week. Also glad your gp has signed you off for a week - you will feel better for it I'm sure. It is good your gp is supportive. Mine was ok today but annoyed me a bit cos I cut straight to the chase and said I need a sick cert. He said "and why's that?" yet he had the details of my EPRC on his monitor. Doh, why d'ya think! Anyway, he then had to go and move his car as he had blocked someone in, so when he got back I said, erm I think your answer is right there on your monitor.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 20:50

Jess, tingly boobs come and go even when you're pg - so not necessarily a bad sign. It's tough but it's a waiting game.

victoriagirl · 17/07/2007 21:52

Good to read your messages.
jess- yes my boobs were sensitive leading up to when my af was due, then went away, so was convinced it hadn't worked. But it had(and they still keep going on and off now, which makes me worry each time!). So all is hopefully not lost yet.
ladylush- can't believe your GP- its amazing how insensitive they can be isn't it- but how much they can vary. i.e. Torres's- GP sounds very supportive (glad you managed to have a good birthday Torres). When I went to my GP after my MC, I think he would have written me a sick note for as long as I wanted, no questions asked.
mrsmc- yes I agree about not wanting to take too much medecines when don't need it- I just took it those 2 months before OV and during to see what would happen. (Forgot it the other months or wasn't bothered). Didn't know about the vitamin supplements. With regards to GP- he said he would be able to hear from 7 weeks with his special thing- so to go at 8. But he did make it very clear that he wouldn't necessarily hear anything and so I shouldn't worry if he couldn't. But for that reason haven't yet decided whether to go or not.
Littlesquirt, siameez and ladylush- thanks for those tips. I live in Gloucestershire (where there are a couple). But is EPU the same as the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit that I went to for MC? If so don't you have to get referred or have a porblem - i.e. pain or bleeding? Would hate to tempt fate by going if I didn't have any problems other than anxiety!

ladylush · 17/07/2007 21:58

Yes it's a tricky one. I would never advocate telling lies but you have to follow your instincts. I don't think they would refuse to see you if you said you didn't have pain or bleeding, but I can't say for sure. I've had spotting with all of my pgs so never had to lie. You could maybe be econonomical with the truth and say you had pink discharge...........

LittleSquirt · 17/07/2007 23:03

A couple of friends of mine went to EPUs when they fell pregnant after a MC and were both given early scans after only saying that they were anxious. Different EPUs might do different things though I guess? Not sure...

LittleSquirt · 17/07/2007 23:20

Hi Torres - so glad to hear you managed to enjoy your birthday in the end and that DH saved the day with nice meal and wine!

alittlebit and weasley happy belated b'day to you guys too as didn't mention it last week - too many posts, sorry!

MrsMc hope all is still going well for you, only 3 more days until you see LO again! So excited for you!

Lissie - thinking of you Darling, I am sure things will get better soon. [hugs]

Jess - don't give up hope just yet, I'm crossing my fingers for you.

everyone It really is so good to have all you guys to talk to, can't tell you how much it's helping me. DH just says I am obsessing when I talk to him (yes, I know I am but I don't want to be told I am all the time!!! ) and all close friends seem to be pregnant. You guys are my life line.

Things will get better for all of us soon I'm sure - I am CD 17 today (if counting ERPC as CD1 as being naughty and trying straight away). We have a wedding next Saturday (28th) so have decided to test the day before (if AF has not arrived by then). If BFP - then hooray and I will be the happiest girl in the world, if BFN, then I'll be able to drink myself silly at the wedding, will then wait for proper AF and then start counting again!
I hope that counts as PMA rather than desperation!

LittleSquirt · 17/07/2007 23:26

ladylush hope you enjoyed Aude when you passed through. Only been there once when I was very small so can't really remember it but from what I know it's meant to be nice and should have been quite hot when you were there.
I come from Normandy personally so weather there is pretty much same as England - ie. rubbish right now!!!
I feel less bad wishing the summer away seeing as it doesn't really feel like summer right now anyway!!!

ladylush · 18/07/2007 01:00

It was stunning. France is a beautiful country. Not so keen on Paris, but mid to south..........stunning. I only don't like Paris cos the people are like Londoners (rude) and we were too skint to stay somewhere posh. Maybe should go back one day and revise my opinion.

MrsMcJnr · 18/07/2007 10:20

Morning ladies

Hello Jess glad to hear you are feeling a bit more positive today, there are scary days. I think there is no rhyme or reason to the breast tenderness, I got it some cycles and not others and it is intermittent even now. It?s all to do with progesterone, that?s all I know! Fingers crossed, its not over until the old bag arrives so don?t lose hope until then

Torres hon glad you had a lovely birthday meal. It is really good news that your GP signed you off. Mine did at the start of my 2nd cycle after my MC because she could see I was really run down and it made the world of difference. Referral for an HSG is positive too ? you?ll get some answers hopefully. I agree that MN is fab, Glimmer is a star too ? lovely lady . Take good care.

Ladylush ? hey there got any treatments set up yet? Glad you are back on the sauce after my MC that was another devastating blow, alcohol still tasted revolting so I just couldn?t reach the oblivion I was looking for. Grrrrrrrrrrr at your GP, how stupid and insensitive

Victoriagirl ? GP is going to use his ?special thing? on you sorry for being so smutty let me know how you get on! EPU just means Early Pregnancy Unit so it probably is the same as your Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit ? you can self refer normally and at least speak to someone, they are more likely to scan you if there is a problem and don?t do reassurance scans as such but I guess it would depend in what kind of state you are in ? stress is no good for Mummies or babies!

Hello Littlesquirt ? thanks hon sounds like PMA to me

EllieG · 18/07/2007 11:43

Hey all - think am going to have a month off ttc this cycle as it was slowly driving me mad and I want to enjoy my holiday! Will keep lurking and posting though occasionally - best of luck to the rest of you x

MrsMcJnr · 18/07/2007 13:03

Enjoy your break and have a fab holiday x

ladylush · 18/07/2007 13:06

Hi Mrs McJ? I admire your ability to conscientiously post to so many people on so many threads .

ladylush · 18/07/2007 13:06

Doh - wasn't meant to be a ?

MrsMcJnr · 18/07/2007 13:18

It's because I'm a lazy, good for nothing at work at the mo LL - let's hope the blooming (when it comes!) brings back some lust for the law! Thanks for the compliment though!

ladylush · 18/07/2007 14:00

What area of law do you specialise in?

MrsMcJnr · 18/07/2007 14:18

Banking & Finance - more from a product perspective than a transactional one. I advise banks on legal product risk really

ladylush · 18/07/2007 14:20

Do you enjoy it?

LouiseX · 18/07/2007 14:30

Hi all - if i am ttc for the first time after m/c on 26th June would you advise to get ovulation kits?? Or any ideas? I desperately want to get pg quick!!!
