August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

I'm ok thanks. Started the clomid yesterday and I'll use the OPK's as requested by the hospital.
Other than that I'm giving up on everything else. Trying to clear my mind.
We've had such a stressful, well, year really. But hopefully it's over now.
So I'm going to somehow try and relax 🤷🏻‍♀️
And I need to loose weight as currently I'm a bit too heavy for IVF.

@NoseringGirl @FlapJackered @ImpatientMammy @LilyCat43 thanks for the advice. It seemed to only happen yesterday and has now stopped so have my fingers crossed! Earliest I can test is Friday....

Hello all. Jumping aboard the august bus with my fingers crossed! CD9 here and attempting SMEP so dtd last night.

Age 36
TTC no. 2 (DS is 3)
Testing 11 Aug if no sign of AF by then (last few cycles have been 24/25 days)

@piglet81 Hi 🙋Cycle buddies - I'm CD11 and aiming for 11th August as a test date too as that's when AF is due - and we're doing SMEP this month as well (second cycle trying SMEP, fifth altogether) missed DTD last as wasn't very well but low Clear Blue OPK anyway so not too worried - will catch up tomorrow!

BFN this morning - not surprised but will test again on Sunday just in case! No sign of AF and still feeling really tired, boobs a bit sore.
On the plus side, this means I can have a glass of prosecco tomorrow with less guilt

After the disappointment of accepting that AF is on the way this morning, I'm feeling a bit more hopeful this afternoon after getting a letter for a gynaecologist appointment. It's in two weeks and it's only a couple of weeks since the gp referred me. I was told the wait would be at least 6 months, probably more than 12!

OMG. It's 8 days before my period is due on 1st August. Got impatient and thought I'd just try a 6 days early FRER. Top is the first one I did and second after manically downing 3 pints of water afterwards. It's very faint but I still see a line in the second?!

Hello everyone, it's lovely to meet you all!

After years of waiting and ticking things off our "to-do" list, I'm so excited that my DH and I are finally hoping to start TTC next month.

Age: 26
TTC: #1
Cycle: 0 (not starting TTC until after my next AF)
CD: 13 of 26
AF due: 8th August 2018

In the meantime, we're starting a healthier diet and trying to get more exercise. My DH is taking multi-vitamins and I'm taking folic acid and vitamin D supplements.

What is everyone else doing to prepare?

I have no idea when AF is due since my cycles are not back after pill so I'm not out of the game yet even though hope is dwindling and holiday prosecco is looming haha.
I'm trying not to get worried or upset about it and just let it be.

In reality, I think about it every 30 seconds but I'm trying at least!

@daydreamdaisy I also think about it every 30 seconds at least!! Being on summer holiday doesn't help, OH is away with work so I've been spending all day symptom spotting and reading forums and last night I watched 3 episodes of 1 born every minute!! Try and relax and enjoy your holiday xx
