August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

I came off the pill on the 4th of July, CD1 was the 8th. I had a positive OPK yesterday, so I’m now hoping to DTD soon!

I'm hoping on if that's okay. My AF arrived this morning after being nearly 2 weeks late!! Stupidly got my hopes up!

TTC: #1
Cycle: 7

Started temping last month which may have shown late ovulation which might explain AF being so late! Getting incredibly frustrated now!

Girls! Disaster may be striking... arrived on my honeymoon last night in Mykonos.... went to the toilet this morning and I noticed some very light spotting huge eye roll know I wanted my first period after coming off my implant but not here LOL! What are the chances?!!! Anyway.... hoping it's some weird going on a flight/being in the heat thing that won't mean my first period in 8 years of being on the implant. We've DTD loads since I came off it 6 weeks ago so not sure if it could be anything else?

On no @shelly10 ! How long were you on the implant for? I know fertility should return to normal but I had mine taken out over a year ago and been ttc for 6 months, still nothing, doc said because I was on the implant and injection for 7/8 years it could take a couple of years to get back to normal 😩

Need to unboard and book in for September Bus - need an MMR booster before I get pregnant!

AF arrived today, a day early, so I'm on CD1 for August. I'm going to start CB OPKing on C10 and keep my fingers crossed!

@Hofty were you on the pill for long? It took me 25 days to peak when I came off.

@Chanel05 actually only 6 weeks! I came off it in late 2016 to prepare for ttc and see what my cycle was like. I was off for 18 months or so, then went back on it so I wouldn’t have my period on my wedding day. I got a positive OPK after 20 days off the pill, but I think it was only that quick because I’d not been back on it long. It was the mini pill too if that’s relevant

@Hofty ahh fair enough well at least it should be out of your system soon :). I’m only on cycle 1 and just curious (obsessed) wondering what is happening and when to myself and others. I know we are all different but on the same journey :).

@Chanel05 I’m in exactly the same boat! Im fast becoming completely obsessed, but trying not to be! I’m on CD19 of my first cycle, TTC#1. I had a positive OPK on CD17, and DTD on CD16 and today. Which isn’t as much as I’d hoped for, but the plan is to do SMEP next cycle. How have you been getting on?

@Hofty are you finding it all consuming? I really thought I’ll just take it easy but after the first opk I’d sold my soul and couldn’t stop thinking 🙈. When are you expecting bfp/af? Do you think you’ll test beforehand? I was testing for ages and it took so long to get my static smiley!

@Chanel05 Yes, completely! I thought I’d do exactly the same as you, just take it nice and relaxed and see what happened. But then I started on the bloody OPKs and the rest is history AF is due on roughly the 8th of August. I’m going to try not to test beforehand, which probably means I definitely will! How about you?

Hi @ImpatientMammy! Nice to have a cycle buddy. According to OPKs I ovulated on the 24th or 25th of July, CD17/18. I have long cycles though, and I only came of the pill on the 4th of July. When did you ov?

Ah bless that's a long wait. I'm ovulating today but my OH went away on Wednesday so my chances are a bit lower then I'd like. Fingers crossed for you x

DTD on CD16,
Positive OPK on CD17, but no DTD then or on CD18
DTD on CD19 (today)
Aiming to do it again tomorrow.

What do you think of those chances? I’ve got my fingers crossed for you too xx

@hofty I’m also due on 8th August! 38 day cycle for my first 🙈 hopefully it will be a positive experience for both of us!! Think I’ll rest for the first time on 3rd, I know I have such limited will power to wait it out!
