August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

If I have twins I will be housebound for a long time due to the amount of stairs we have to climb and the fact I have arthritis in my spine. And no one lives all that close to help me get out the door with everything.
I've had clomid and ovulation injection, followed by IUI which increases my chance of multiples.
Fortunately I only had 2 good eggs, one bigger than the other so 🤞🏻 just the one.
I'm not convinced the IUI was successful as I don't think it was timed right. More the 2 days of bd with DH 😂

@wishful30 that’s given me so much hope!! I’m cycle 13 and have taken passing the year mark really hard. So happy for you!

I felt like that too. However, I'm not excited yet as it's way too early and have had 4chemicals in a year.
So, as much as it's a bfp now, i may well still get af 🙄

@Wishful30 I'm on Clomid too. Although I don't hold out hope at all as I'm on cycle 54 now and nothing. At the end of our journey though so last shot whilst I save up for IVF (except I've been told to quit before then so I'm literally placing all my eggs in this basket).

@wishful30 I’ve had two chemicals this year too - 5 days late now and darent test again, but bfn on the day af was due so I really don’t think this is it!

Been catching up after being away for 10 days. Congratulations to everyone who has had a bfp and sorry to those with af.

I think I'm 5dpo today. Had really good ewcm like the cycle I conceived ds so am feeling hopeful... I've had hardly any the last few months

Don't loose hope. I know of a few people who tried for a long time, and when they'd accepted it probably wasn't going to happen, it did.

My manager at work tried for over 9 years.
Tried naturally, had all the tests, IUI, clomid, injections, went into IVF for quite an amount of time.
Accepted they could t have a child. Decided to enjoy themselves, went on a nice holiday to start 'living' and fell pregnant almost instantly!!

I wonder sometimes how much stress we put in ourselves without even realising it. And I'm still not convinced messing with my hormones is the best way, but thought I'd give a shot now it's over a year.

Congrats @Wishful30!! That was a very easy line to spot without having to zoom in / contrast. Fx for you that it's a sticky one this time 🤞

CD 12 here and currently on holibobs so hoping we have plenty of opportunity to DTD! Already BD on CDs 8, 10 and today. Probably O'ving either tomorrow or CD 14 given the trend the past few months so hoping to DTD for a few days in a row now. Really hoping it's my month this month! At least I'll be away for half of my TWW so I should be sane for the first few days post Ov at least 😂

Does anyone take Pregnacare Pre Conception and has it messed up your cycle? Its the only thing consistent with my cycles being out for 2 months!! I’m going to throw them away and just start on Folic Acid. If AF arrives I’ll try DHA & COQ10 this month alongside my acupuncture.

Tested FR at 9dpo it was negative. I’m still spotting. AF not due til Friday, trying to stay positive but it’s so hard.

@sbhf1987 Cheers! Bizarrely got a positive opk yesterday and had def got my hopes up for this morning. Feel sick and hot and just really rough - had two weddings at the weekend and as much as I tried to enjoy the (free!) bar, even a glass of wine made me feel awful. Just want AF to arrive now.

Vitamins made my cycles weird too - get rid! I reckon if you eat a decent diet you don’t really need extra anyway.

Hey my lovelies! I am still here, waiting for AF who is now 4 days late. I haven't done another test since Friday when she was due and that was a BFN. It was my brothers birthday this weekend and TBH I thought that a FRER BFN on due date would be enough for me to jump off the bus, but until AF arrives I guess I stick around. will test again later today just to be sure (I sweat I have become addicted to POAS!) congrats to those of you with BFP and good luck to those still on this bus with me

I was irrationally irritated at my OH when I got my BFP too 😂 hope he doesn't hate me for the next 8 months x

Afternoon ladies! Just catching up. Congrats to all the bfps - and positive vibes for a sticky one @Wishful - and sorry to those who AF got. I'm about 8dpo, AF due Friday according to Flo app.

I feel normal really, aside from tired, a weird twinging pain in one side all day yesterday and a load of spots on my nose

Veering between thinking 'Maybe...' and 'definitely not'. Going to try and hold out testing at least until AF is late.

Just worked out I could probably stay on this bus (although probs the next thread one because this is nearly finished) because at is probably due 21st August. If it's late though probs on the next bus. First go with Clomid this cycle so I expect an early period.

First time I took clomid I had an otherwise normal cycle.
Wasn't any different for me. Af didn't turn up early or late. Bang on time!

Only reason af might be early this time is coz I injected to force ovulation, so it might have made my luteal phase start sooner 🤷🏻‍♀️

Spotting today, but too early for AF and probably too early for implantation (about 3 dpo). Who knows?

I think there's a teeny glimpse of pink next to it but you can't really tell in the picture.
Maybe my levels just aren't that high. The other test was mid afternoon weirdly.

My temp is still good and my cm is still creamy. (Sorry tmi)

Buy more tests and wait another 2days.
10dpo today. I usually get to 11/12dpo before af arrives 🤞🏻
