August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

Hi everyone 👋

I'm 10dpo, bfn yesterday so convinced myself this cycle is out. But woke up this morning with a really sore throat and slight cramping so can't help wonder if they could be symptoms? I don't think we even DTD the right time this month as DH was away for most of FW and still getting to grips with tracking. Why is it so impossible to wait patiently?!!

So I’ll be making my way over to the September bus as I’ve started spotting 😩! I think this cycle has taught me not to read into symptoms and to not test so early!! next month I’m gonna be more chilled out and just wait until AF to rear her ugly head!! Easily said than done but DH has put a ban on buying pregnancy tests and opks 🙈🤣 I have 4 opks, 1 cheapie PT and a CBD so I’m good to go!!

I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see how everyone else is getting on and 🤞🏻 I don’t see u pop up on the September bus and you get your well deserved BFPs 😘 x

@lougg I'm pretty much in the same boat, thought I was out and then more symptoms showed up, now I'm 12dpo and pretty certain I'm out again. I guess the best thing is to try to forget about it until AF but its so so hard when your body keeps throwing random things at you! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that she doesn't show up x

So today's clearblue test says high after low yesterday. I am convinced it always says low for a day and then high the very next day. I'm CD23 so it is really bloody late to be ovulating if it is true. Anyone else not totally trust the Clearblue OPKS?

@Wishful30 looks like you've had a temperature drop today? All depends on what's normal for you, but that's usually a sign that your period is about to start (either same or next day). But your temperature pattern looks a little irregular, I think? Did you have a fever?

My temps are always all over the place.
Af is not due for 7days, if the apps correct, or up to 10days normally.
I had the injection this time round. I don't think I ovulated till Monday due to super long LH surge. But the app is saying Saturday.
It's all a bit confusing.
I have been feeling hot in general. But now have a bit of a sore throat on/off and slight snotty nose.
I always get brown spotting 2ds before af and achey feeling. But nothing so far.

I thought a temp drop at this early stage could be a sign of implantation?

Sorry @lubilu28 fingers crossed for September! I imagine I'll be joining you in a couple of days, as AF due on Monday.

Still feeling sick but bfn on frer today at 11dpo. I have THE worst case of wishful thinking line eyes, I can see, or more accurately, imagine a line on every single test I do, be it IC or frer or whatever. Not helped by the indents on frer tbh but after being caught by them a few times I think unless I can see the line without twisting/turning/holding up to the light it is just an indent. I know I just should wait but I'm out tonight so wanted to know, not that after 15cycles I particularly put my life on hold but I would still rather know!

Anyone else testing this weekend?

Also BFN at 11dpo here. AF due today based on the past couple of cycles, but no sign. Going to try not to test again for 48 hours if still nothing.

AF is due on 27th!

In the fertile window currently and we dtd last night. I've recently started taking conception vitamins and got dh started on them too. I'm not planning on taking temps etc and hoping to just dtd regularly. I'll no doubt be symptom spotting like mad....

My ds is nearly 17 months I had 2 mcs before him. Each time I fell pregnant quickly so I'm trying not to have any expectations...

@chillichutney it's so frustrating isn't it! If only AF symptoms weren't so similar to being preggo. Got everything crossed for you too!

I’m out ladies, AF seems to have started today 7dpo and 7 days before it was due to start. Trip to the doctors for me, last month I had a long cycle and I’ve always been consistently 27/28 days x

I’m off the August bus but it means my cycle is back after being on the pill. Gp has told me not to try until I’ve had some tests run. So I might get on September I might not :). Good luck to everybody else still on the bus

My sister said to stay positive as it was only when I wiped (sorry TMI) and not bright red, more brown and pink. Seemed a lot for IB. Bit of brown stuff since but dunno just feel like I’m out now even though she’s saying to stay positive!

Our cycle is pretty similar, I'm also in my fertile window and DTD every other day, AF due between 27th-29th Aug as my cycles vary between 26-28 days since having my coil removed a few months ago. I'll be testing on the 28th Aug, hopefully we can help keep each other sane during the TWW! X

@dovegrey18 oh and I'm also on cycle 1 of TTC #2 although my DS is 3 1/2 so feeling the pressure a little as the age gap is growing wider than I'd like!

I think I'm gonna start OPK again this month, I did it this morning and it was almost positive dark... Kinda wondering if that light bleeding five days ago was AF that came over a week early. Still doesn't explain this odd feeling on my right side, it literally felt like something super tiny is pulling my muscles apart, but still mild. Already alerted my DH that hospital visit might be in order.

Hi all, so I've just done a bit of digging on my Ovia app and it turns out it thinks I ovulate on cd18 of a 29 day cycle... But I've never given it any info except my period dates. So why it would assume that I have no idea! Downloaded FF and put the last 3 months dates in there and it's given me much earlier fertile windows based on cd15 ov, which is much more likely obviously. Can't believe I've wasted 3-4 months on Ovia's crappy suggestions! Oh well, next cycles window from FF falls over the whole bank holiday weekend so you can guess what my plans are 😁

@chillichutney do you use anything else to track your cycle? I wouldn't trust the apps at all. The apps always predicted my ovulation for CD15-17, but I ovulated on CD10 so would have missed it completely. I use cheap internet OPKs to detect a surge in LH, and I track my BBT to confirm ovulation.

@LulaRose thanks, no I don't use anything else yet, it's just because I'm attempting to 'play it cool' for a little while & keeping those options up my sleeve. I was going to start temping next cycle, but now I've found out about Ovia I'll try with earlier BDing for a few months. Interesting to know about how different your ov date was, maybe I'll end up having the same story! Bloomin biology!

Yes hopefully we can. My fertile window started on 8th but we only dtd yesterday. Too tired tonight so will aim for tomorrow!

I'm out. Started spotting and af due tomorrow. Don't really feel anything other than normal.

So no actual bleeding yet, bit more brown discharge when wiping this morning but nothing in my underwear. Trying to hold on to hope that it still could be IB related but it’s hard.

Because I had a random long period last month too my apps are confused. Fitbit thinks AF due Fri on a 28 day cycle, Glow is saying Sat on a 29 day but I have been known to have 27 day cycles 🙄 definitely testing Tuesday/Weds if no obvious AF appearance before then.

@chillichutney apps always told me I ov’d on day 14, 27-29 day cycle. But I ovulate on day 16-17 having used OPKs this month.

Hi ladies I've been feeling very un pregnant last 2 days, which is usually a sign for me of impending af due in a week. I'm trying to stay positive though! Who else is due on the 19th?
