August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

I can't figure out if and when I've ovulated! Temps going up since CD6, positive OPK on CD12 (though I only started them on CD11 this cycle) but temp drop this morning. I think last cycle's chemical has messed this one up. Any ideas?

I'm AF due 11 September @giraffe888 and trying to hold off testing as long as possible 🤞

If you dont mind me asking on average how long are your cycles???

So last night as I was trying to fall asleep I had some quite strong cramping, just for a few minutes and then it stopped and now is more of a deep, dull ache!! Hoping it was implantation cramping as af isn’t due until the 10th!! Anyone else had experiences with this? I’m only 6dpo but I’ve read implantation can occur at this time xx

@em254 I’ve ordered some tests off ebay and I’m gonna start testing when I’m 8dpo!! I feel like if I do a test then at least my mind can rest as I feel like I’m going to go mad if I wat till af is due lol! I’m expecting bfn’s but u just never know and it’s that, that is driving me crazy lol and because they are so cheap I’m not wasting a tonne of money lol xxx

@NoseringGirl I don't do bbt anymore but this is my last chart I did and looks very similar to yours at the start. Don't know if that helps, not entirely sure how flo calculated ovulation...

I'm 9dpo had creamy cm this morning but just noticed ewcm when I went to the loo. Got a bit more cramping today too.

Thanks @VenusStarr looks like yours was calculated from the point your temp went about your highest pre ov temp. I should've added that FF had given me crosshairs but then took them away again when I put in the positive OPK and EWCM. I'm also getting cramping and creamy CM. Hope yours is a good sign!

CD 20 for me and no ovulation, all my opks have been very nearly positive the last 4 days but not quite there, my temps don’t reflect ovulation either! So this month is definitely not my month, this is only my 3rd month off the pill so I’m thinking I may have an annovulatory cycle but I ovulated the last two! Just frustrating as we used Pre-seed this month which is expensive but I have very little cm! Plus if I do ovulate later in the cycle and it delays my period I’ll end up being on for my wedding on 28th grrrrr!!

@MidwifeMummy161 that is frustrating, those OPKs were getting so close! One on CD16 even looked like it might be positive.

@NoseringGirl hey how you getting on this month? I know that’s what I thought so I took a CB and it was negative and obviously my temps were like nope! I’m the least stressed I’ve ever been too as I have a month off until I start my new job too and everything is sorted for the wedding so I don’t know why I’d ovulate so late! Or not at all ;( our bodies like to torture us don’t they! I can still hope I’ll ovulate in the next few days I guess just not too late so I come on late hey?! I’ve been so crampy too so feel like my body is trying really hard!

@TaeLovexD on average I’m a 29 day cycle and going by OPK ovulated on the 25th July I think. Ovia says I’m due 7th which would be about right.

@Lubilu28 I’m a POAS addict ... I think it helps get me through these last few days before AF... it’s not expensive with the cheap ones! I feel like I just need to know... if that makes sense???!

@NorseringGirl sorry just saw your post above, your chart looks much more stable than mine but I still can’t quite work it out, does look like you could have ovulated on CD12 especially with your cm and maybe today’s temp was a random one off? Could’ve mouth breathed last night or not slept as well? See what tomorrow’s temp shows x

@MidwifeMummy161 I use an Ava bracelet so it's all based on my average skin temp during the night. Makes anomalies much less likely! I'm guessing it's just the result of last month's chemical and all I can do is wait and see what happens. It's the wait that's frustrating though isn't it? I hope you can figure your cycle out too, and especially avoid AF for your wedding! Apparently it's quite normal to have the occasional anovulatory cycle so maybe this is your month for that and things will go back to normal next cycle?

@NoseringGirl how have you found the Ava bracelet do you think it's worth the price?
Half way though the tww now. I feel like I'm just waiting to try again next month but you never know 🤞 x

@giraffe888 had pains today...convincing myself they are implantation pains when I full well know they are likely ibs pains 😂 still staying strong on the poas front though 👍

Right I've reached a new level of obsession and I don't know if it's going to work but temping doesn't work for me so I've been watching my resting heart rate on my Fitbit. I've just inputted this month into fertility friend putting my lowest resting heart rate as 36.1c and then adding 0.1c for every 1 my heart rate went up and I got a crosshairs!! Is this a waste of time yous think? X

Hi ladies I've been lazy with ovulation test this month but I'm cycle day 13 and fairly certain I'm ovulating today or tomorrow due to ewcm, staying positive about dtd! Need motivation in the heat! Good luck everyone

We don't qualify for IVF so still going down the "trying naturally" route but it's fine this month I've been dieting and decorating

@ImpatientMammy I really like my Ava, I got it before the recent price hike though, it was expensive then but it's really expensive now! The predictions are usually pretty good but even Ava is getting confused by my cycle this month! The temps are a lot more accurate than BBT which I like. I also find the heart rate monitor on it less all over the place than the Fitbit one but that could be because the Ava is just worn at night and my Fitbit is on all the time. I like what you've done with your FF chart and your Fitbit heart rate, interesting stuff! I reckon you'll need to do a couple of cycles to see if you get a consistent luteal phase but hopefully you'll be pregnant before you can figure it out!

@muddyelephant I’m also a sufferer of IBS so I feel your pain! No symptoms here other than 3 huge spots on my chin 😡😡

@giraffe888 I have broken out on my neck and under my chin 😣 I always get some when AF is on her way, think it's the hormonal changes

Ha I wish @Owlpatrol my other half has worked away for 2 weeks over my ovulation this is the first cycle we've been in with a chance I think. I think it's cycle 8 for me but not sure if it counts if your not even in with a chance 🙈. Howcome you don't qualify for ivf? I have everything crossed for you it's def your turn now like.
@NoseringGirl thanks I'll keep it in mind. If there's some sort of sale. I'll let you know about the heart rate thing but hopefully we both leave the bus with BFPs this month and it won't matter 🤞 x
