August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

Silly question I'm sure... have you done a pregnancy test?

@marthamay ha I always think that I have no idea how to pay the difference x

@Hofty that's a really positive sign you've ovulated. The itching is caused by the drop in hormones and rise in others. It's preparing you for if the egg was fertilised and you get pregnant. That's why every month right before FP your beasts hurt because it's the progesterone building.

@Wishful30 I haven't had a clear indication of ovulation so without an egg I won't be pregnant.

There's a teeny chance from last month you could be. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I've now seen it all on here. One lady had a normal month, with an on time normal af and had positive opks for ages. Turned out to be bfp.
I know it's unlikely, but you just never know. 🤞🏻

@Wishful30 that's a lovely thought but pregnancy makes me sick as a dog. I've been pregnant 11 times in three years and it's rough for me. I feel fine. Hope my FP comes on track tomorrow and then I can start he next round of Clomid.

I've been pregnant 4 times now in just under a year. It's such a mental strain if nothing else.

Off for a barrage of blood tests following my periods being barely existent for 3 months....including menopause hormones (I'm early 30s)! Torn between wanting them to find something so I can fix it and them all to be fine. Results Mon...something else to obsess over in my TWW 😐

@MuddyElephant I started the menopause at 29 and they made me wait till my periods had stopped for two years before starting me on HRT. Within 3mths I was pregnant from taking HRT and HGH

Going to test on Friday. Total waste of time I’m sure as I’ve had no symptoms and probably too early but I’ve promised myself that I can indulge .

I've just had an advert pop up on a local fb group for 'a fertility massage". Is that a real thing?

I've read about acupuncture too

Would fertility massage be like reflexology? I know a couple of people who have had that. I went for acupuncture when I was TTC DS2. I loved it but it's really expensive!

I'm having acupuncture at the moment, had about 4 sessions so far. It's definitely improved my blood flow, periods used to be sludgey brown but now definite fresh blood. No positive teat yest though but I do like it, feel very relaxed after. It is quite pricey though.

When do you get the results @MuddyElephant?

Hi all!

I hope you don't mind me joining! I was planning to start TTC this month and AF turned up today 2 days early, pushing my next AF due date from September into August! I'll be one of the last ones hanging around I think but looking forward to riding this bus with everyone else!

Some stats:
Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS is 3 1/2)
Cycle no: 1
CD: 1
AF due / BFP: 29/08

Hi @rollerskaterdata I remember you from the waiting to TTC threads!

This might to be a silly question, but do sore boobs indicate ovulation has occurred? And why?

@Hofty I might be wrong but I thought sore boobs was linked to an increase in progesterone.

Other than severe bloating I have zero symptoms. 5 days til af, not feeling that hopeful really.

How's everyone else getting on?

@hofty yeah I think it's progesterone.

@VenusStarr I get them Mon, so not too long to wait. Don't get down hearted about lack of symptoms, the first one normally is a BFP as there aren't enough hormones. Doesn't stop me driving myself crazy symptom spotting though!

@chocolateaddicted sorry it happen ed so early for you, but so glad to hear getting a BFP is still possible. Thanks for sharing x

Just catching up on the thread and seen there's been a few BFPs already so congrats to those ladies, and fx for everyone currently in the tww. As I'm only CD1 and suffering from bitching AF cramps I have nothing to report 😂 anyone else with AF/a BFP due towards the end of August?

@ mussie, hiya! I remember you from the waiting thread too, great to see another graduate on here! I think a few others will be starting to TTC in August too so hopefully they'll be joining us I rechecked Flo and it's recalculated my AF due date to 28th August, so I'll be due 1 day after you! Have you thought yet about when you're going to start testing, I've already decided to test on my AF due date! And hopefully not a day earlier (if I have the willpower, ha!)
