Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

Thanks everyone. I can't believe it, took a superdrug test yesterday was as white as the driven snow. Actually thought I was being an idiot testing this morning!! Still in shock. Its looking clearer now and it came up straight away, let's hope its sticky! Booked a doctors appointment today, will they do a blood test?

@jess21690 such exciting news. I don't think doctor will do blood test. Probably just urine sample and you will fill out forms and get in the system so they can schedule your 8 week appointment - unless you have any concerns or previous issues etc.

@Hofty this is my first month off the pill (cerazette) so I really am in shock. My parents had trouble conceiving and I'm an IVF baby so I was very nervous that it would be difficult for me. But I'm trying not to get over excited, I know it's very early and could end up being a chemical. Looks like that pinching on Saturday night was implantation, let's hope its a good sign for you as well!!

@jess21690 in my experience doctors just trust your home test as they're so accurate and refer you to the midwife and that's it unless there's any specific concerns.

I'm driving myself mad this morning. I'm CD12, temp has been rising since CD6. FF gave me crosshairs this morning and put me at 4DPO. Just started OPKs yesterday as I'd been away and it was nearly positive this morning. I don't usually ovulate until around CD16. I had a chemical last month and I think it's messed everything up this month!

@VenusStarr fingers crossed for you as well! I had no other symptoms apart from the pinching, no extra urination or sense of smell or anything. I also had no spotting. My boobs have been sore at the sides since ovulation but on Saturday night I did notice they got more painful and had some shooting pains.

I'm a little bit worried because last night (while obsessively seeing how sore my boobs are) I noticed that my left boob has a bit at the top that feels - thicker?! It's. It exactly a lump, more like a section where the tissue feels closer to the surface?! That one has been noticeably more painful than the right since ovulation so I'm hoping it's something to do with hormones but I am panicking. Has anyone else experienced this in early pregnancy or during their cycle? Going to ask the doctor about it but just wondered if you ladies had any words of wisdom!

If you have a short cycle do FRER still work early? As I would teat at 6dpo to be four days early.
