Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment!

Thanks They're usually like clockwork, last month was out by a day, so didn't think anything of it when I was a day late this month... But now it's 3 days, which I guess is still nothing, especially compared to you! But I usually know when I'm about to start as I'm always worse the week before AF lol
Just wish you either started your period on time or have a BFP instead! This waiting game drives you loopy lol
When are you next testing?
I've just ordered 15 10mlU strips from amazon for £3 from amazon, as tests are so expensive! X

@Pudding01 ah I see! I'm with ya, the wait is awful! 3 days is still a long time, especially if usually like clockwork! Had you tried any other tests apart from fr? I'm not sure when I'll be testing again! Trying to prolong it haha! Probably tomorrow morning! They are very expensive! xx

Not tried any other tests yet as people told me to avoid blue dye for false positives
Really hoping late ovulation just means late period so I can get an answer either way in the next few days. Been trying for months though, so I know which result I want haha

I'm 4 days late but only negative tests. Absolutely no feelings of pregnancy or AF!!

@Kate123cl been trying since October. Ovulated without periods a few times as was still breastfeeding at night, but then periods came back Feb. I only have one tube so I knew it would take time. It's just this limbo that's making me anxious! X

@TheTittifersHaveSungTheirSong of course you can! When was the last time you tested and what tests did you use? X

@Pudding01 I see! Well I'm sure you'll get a positive soon enough! I'm sure if I really tilt my phone back and squint I can see a line on your fr picture! Xx

Tested this afternoon with internet cheapie. Not even a sniff of a line to even keep me hoping!!

Can I join too please? I’m 4 days late and been feeling crampy like af is going to arrive every day and still not come! Did tests yesterday so if still not here in the morning I might try testing again tomorrow. I think it’s unlikely though as we only dtd a few days before ovulation this month! I just want af to arrive so can get on with next month really. Congrats all bfps!

@Kate123cl sorry to hear that. Put a piccy up? Mine was so faint when I first done it.

Have you decided what you are going to do as you af is really late now isn’t it? How are the symptoms?

@Rose2887 It's not even worth a picture lol!! But I'll put one up when I get to work! On the bus at the moment lol.
It is really late! I'm just confused as to why the doctors weren't bothered! I just feel sick all the time (not sure if it's the folic acid) and lower back pain is quite bad! Xx

@Rose2887 just realised that sounds like I've taken my test to work lol! It just takes ages to upload a pic when I'm away from WiFi so I'll do it there! Lol x

@kate123cl sorry :( I think maybe you should ask to see another dr, mines pretty useless too! They should really do a blood test or a scan to see what’s going on! Hope you get some answers! I don’t even feel that pregnant bar tingly boobs and bloated!! Saying that I’m not sleeping either x

@Kate123cl I woke up bleeding. Quite bright red and as heavy as a normal period, with cramping and feeling tired. Then stopped, but back again... So I think it was either a late period and I was seeing things on my test or it was a chemical pregnancy x
